Seidio is an excellent brand! I've used their holsters with my last 6 or 7 phones, and I've had one of their cases for the last 4.

I recommend waiting for the Otterbox Cases, they are throwing out a line of their 3 cases: Impact, Defender and Commutter. In the mean time. Get a silicone case from Sprint. Those are perfect until you wait for the Otterbox.

Im looking to get another case for my evo and im stuck between the otterbox commuter and the seidio active..which one will be the better buy? i have the innocase surface II in pearl but it gets dirty to quickly, if i do decide to go with the otter is there a holster to fit?

Hey i have the otterbox commuter case....and its awesome, Just sucks for me a bit case i have 3 MicroSD Cards so its a bit of a pain to remove the case over and over , I however, haven't seen the seidio case at all..... I'm wondering how the defender case handles...
Seidio cases look nice but their build quality is just ****. I have gone through 3 of their Active Limited Ed. cases already. The first one had busted tabs, and the other two had paint peeling within a week. I still use it but can't in good conscience recommend it.
I have the Otterbox Commuter as well, and it's nice but not as rugged as the Seidio.
I bought the otterbox commuter and the rubber skin wasn't tight and seemed stretched out a little. So I bought the seidio innocase rugged and I love it, I have 2 sd cards and 4 batteries so long story short do you want a quality case or the abilty to access the batteries and sd cards, lol something has to give, i chose quality.

I always like using a holster with my phones. And, I usually end up using a Seidio surface case and holster with whatever phone I'm carrying.
I have the Seidio surface holster (for my Sprint OEM extended battery (2100 mAh) device). I like the Seidio case, but I also like to use my Cruzerlite Androidified A2 Blue case for a change of pace.
Today, I decided to see if my Seidio holster would work with my Cruzerlite case, and it did! In fact, it fits perfectly.
So, if anyone else hadn't thought of this and is interested in a good holster for their Cruzerlite case, you might want to consider this combo.
Seidio sells just the holster for about $20.00 if you didn't want to get the Seidio case. (Check ebay or Amazon, though, for a better price.

Currently I have a Seidio case, but the kickstand doesn't feel durable enough for me, so I am looking to buy a different case. First one is the same as the first cheap china case I got... For $10 on ebay..

I have the kraken now and it is awesome can't speak for the second one but the trident kraken is pretty durable and so is the kickstand.

Is there a case that doesn't take away that slim but has the protection of a ballistic case *doesn't have to be exact but good protection*

Casemate Tough is the case typically on my phone. It does not offer Ballistix case protection but its good and my phone geta dropped and beaten by a 2 year old. My other cases are Trident Aegis and TPU. Trident Aegis is also a good case but thicker and heavier then Casemate.

I've heard the aegis and the tough case are similar sizes. I used the casemate for a while and it's definitely one of the thicker cases.
I currently use the diztronic tpu case which is plenty for the occasional drops. How much protection do you need?
