Hey my phone is stuck on the loading screen after i tried to root my phone, if im honest i had no idea what i was doing i was just following a guide i found online and just thought it would all go alright but sadly it went terribly wrong. what i did was unlock the boot loader uses the htc website that the guide directed me to which went smoothly then i went into fastboot mode and ran the file install-insecure-windows from the folder i downloaded called r3-endeavor-insecurebootandroot. my phone restarted and the just froze at the loading screen. i have tried to run recovery and i just get a red triangle and i have also tried a factory reset and that just starts to load and then resets and is still stuck on the loading screen.

reading is a gift
Unlock your bootloader then install custom recovery then copy your new rom to a folder on sd card then install it and last flash the boot.img via fastboot. And next time don't use tool to root your phone. Now start reading how to unlock your bootloader via HTCdev.com then haw to flash recovery and then how to flash custom rom

Hi,
I've attempted the JB update
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737899..
fastboot flash boot boot.img etc.. which said all was well..
But now find that my phone will not boot up, doesn't get past the Google and unlock screen.
I've tried all combinations of volume buttons, I can get to the fasboot menu where I can choose either Recovery Mode, Power Off, Start or Restart bootloader.
None of these appear to do anything, recovery goes to the google a screen followed by an Android on it's back with an exclamation mark over it.. then goes to the Google and unlocked icon screen and stays there...
I fear my phone is bricked... Please help..

1.) Your phone is far from bricked at all. You have access to the boot loader (i.e. the screen with the options). The recovery you're seeing is stock recovery. All you need to do is go into boot loader and fastboot flash recovername (CWM) and you will have your custom recovery back to wipe data and reinstall a rom or restore a nandroid backup
Mine is doing the same thing, weird thing is, it was working since yesterday on jellybean, it just randomly froze this morning and and now won't boot..
im currently at work so i don't have admin rights to do a fastboot flash..
any idea why it would randomly stop working when i havn't flashed anything on it besides the jb rom?
Sorted..
Thanks for the comments.. yeah i was over-reacting a bit there..
I downloaded the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit, got a stock rom form gopogle, flashed it.. back to normal, well, it will be after i restore the CWM backup i took.. phew..
Thanks again
Ian.
Still stuck
I'm also stuck in the same situation(google with the unlock screen). I fear I'm a little more stuck. I also can see the recovery/restartbootloader screen. However, everything I try still comes back to that same google screen and gets hung up. Need some help!
this has happened twice today and i think it from using volume+

Boot into recovery, wipe cache, Reboot
So today for the first time tried to mess around with my phone, but i failed miserably. I rooted my phone with Kingo ROOT, and then followed the instructions on the wiki page, but at step 4 things got messed up, my phone got stuck at the SONY logo with the blue light turned on and it wouldnt do anything, so i removed the battery, now it boots up at the cyanogen recovery but i cant do anything from there , everytime i close the device when i boot it , it boots to this menu. I have tried everything to get it back to normal but nothing seems to work. I will tell exactly what i did in order to reach in this state. I downloade the nicki nightly cm, and moved the boot.img to my platform-tools folder in which i run on command prompt the following commands :
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
After that my phone gets stuck and i can only access Cyanogen Recovery, does anyone have any idea what to do?? :crying: :crying:
Have you tried flashing the rom using cyanogen recovery?
So far, I decided since my tablet was running slower than it did when I first got it, to reset it. And since I was doing that, might as well unlock the bootloader.
Well, I unlocked the device, attempted to install TWRP, then got the remote failed error, unknown command. Apparently you have to install it via flashify or whatever. Anyhow...
I rebooted the device, but now, all it does is go into recovery, shows the android robot on its side for a split second, then starts flashing white then black on the screen. The only way to stop it is to pull off the battery connector.
The LG mobile tool can see it in download mode, send it the latest kdz image or whatever, works, but still goes back to the same error - boots to recovery then hangs.
Is there a way to fix this? Trying to get it to boot a recovery img didn't work. Erasing all data seemed to have done nothing.
Did you ever unbrick it...?
Hi, yesterday i was using my phone and suddenly it freezed then restarted and the lenovo logo stuck forever, i thought that the stuck firnware got crashed and needs to reinstall again, i had root in it and installed twrp on it, i tried to boot to the twrp through the fastboot but when i type " fastboot boot recovery.img" it works and says finish but the phone still stuck at the bootloader screen and freezes and i have to restart the phone again to access the bootloader again, then i tried to reinstall the stuck firmeware that i used before "P2a42_S048_161111_ROW_fastboot" but still after i reinstalled it and start the phone again, it still stuck at the lenovo logo forever" then i tried to boot to the stuck recovery mode using fastboot, and still freezes after i run the command on fastboot, i tried the blankflash it all works fine without no fail but still the problem exist, still cant boot my phone and cant boot to the recovery, this is the first time that something wierd like this happens to my phone, i tried all the solutions and none of them works! i even tried to relock the bootloader using fastboot oem lock but it fails! please help me guys.
Join the club, you're phone is now dead, no one recovered from this yet.
Hey guys, been a hot minute since I've been around these parts but I've got a weird one for you.
I'm stuck in a boot loop. I can get into the bootloader using pwr+vol up, but thats it. If I try to enter recovery it boot loops.
Using fastboot commands and I can get things to flash (so it says), but am still stuck in this bootloop.
Tried loading TWRP using fastboot boot twrp.img and it says it succeeded but then loops without ever getting the TWRP splash
Tried extracting the img files from the most recent OTA downloaded from google from the payload.bin and flashing those with no success.
Tried flashing the boot.img out of LineageOS and it still loops afterwards... I'll admit that this was a last ditch effort and I hope I didn't screw myself, but I figure I can just reflash if needed since I can still access fastboot.
I feel like since I can get into the bootloader that there's got to be SOMETHING I can do, but nothing seems to be working. Is this old phone truly bricked? Any ideas??
A little extra info. I was on a stock rom, it was rooted for a while and eventually after some of the ota's I lost it and didn't bother getting it back. the bootloader unlocked, though, so there's that.

As a rule of thumb
-- A 'bricked phone' is usually unresponsive, won't power on, and doesn't function normally.
