Lots of Issues
I've read plenty of reported issues that I can say I've been having as well (volume sticking at max in calls, mms not working on wifi, etc.) and I'm here to report another issue that REALLY bothers me.
About once or twice a day, the phone decides to restart, I've found that typing quickly in the keyboard can help instigate this. I really want to like this ROM but I really can't when it does this consistently. So far carbon is superior to every other ROM I've tried for various reasons (PAC was too heavy/had glitches, CM was featureless, Slim was just awful) but it's really frustrating to have an issue like this one combined with all the reported issues.
As a side note changing any settings in the camera causes it to crash and the infamous "Cannot connect to camera" message to appear if the app is restarted.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Phone: Sprint SPH-L710 running carbon build: CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20141106-0907 with stock kernel.
(I should mention my messaging app is hangouts and if at all possible I'd like to leave it that way. I did read it might be an app/carrier issue but I'm really hoping someone will tell me otherewise)

Just want to give me OPS
Basically, I have been using this phone for a few days and want to share my opinions on the rom I have gathered so far!
Pros:
-Battery Life Is Decent (Could Be A Bit Better but basically normal)
-Smooth Interface (For a 2011 device)
-Coding looks exceptionally nice
-Feels very nice
-Great options throughout the settings
Cons:
-Battery does take quite a bit of time to charge
-Needs option for background picture on app drawer (if it is there I just have not found it)
-Volume Up key sometimes stops working and I have to restart the phone (small problem that only happens if Im constantly pressing it)
-Does get a bit clunky at times with the the cache build up.
-No option to turn of feedback for notification bar (seems to go away if I swipe up like its in full screen mode)
All in all I love this rom. Hopefully there are ways to fix my cons in the settings and I just havent found them yet. I would suggest this rom over most to people with this device. Just remember to all you newbies having issues (YOU HAVE TO BE ON A 4.1.2 KERNEL TO FLASH THIS YOU CANT COME FROM ICS OR KITKAT)

Awesome Update!
Hoping you would continue to support and develop SlimLP for Nexus 7 2013 runs smooth and fast, hoping it would go into OFFICIAL status soon
Thanks bro
Just wanted to say thanks for this awesome ROM. Really smooth and haven't found any bugs yet. I'll let you know if I do. Thanks again for your hard work! Peace
Great rom, working really fast
Just have two issues, while browsing screen frezzes for about 5 seconds and then work again, tried with stock and chrome.
Candy crush soda freezes at loading screen.
Thanks for your work
Rotation not working
Hello,
just switching to OptiPop, I noticed that the rotation sensors are not working at all. I am using the latest SlimGapps (20150526). Has anybody observed the same? Any suggestions for fixing this? Using other ROMs, eveything works as expected. And of course I did a clean flash.
Cheers
Love optipop flo
I have flashed many lp roms and imo optipop is the best. So smooth. Particularly it has better sound than others. Anyone have problems with Dead Trigger and Dead Trigger 2 crashing? Any responses are appreciated. Thanks.
Notifications in [Rom] [5.1.1 r5] Optipop [25/06][F2FS]
Hi all,
Flashed the mentioned ROM to my Nexus 7, and all is working great apart from i am getting delayed visual notifications from my Gmail. I get sound instantly, but if the screen is on, i don't get a visual notification until the screen has gone off and on again.
Performed a clean installation and tried a couple of versions of Gapps thinking it could be related to that, but the same both each time. Has anyone else experienced this, or delayed visual notifications in general, not just Gmail?
Cheers
Rob.

Bluetooth issues
Anyone having issues with latest pacman nightly on T-Mobile galaxy s4? Pairs and connects than drops out after a few minutes. Got a pop up message saying error Bluetooth sharing? Any thoughts? Thanks
Just did a full wipe and installed the latest nightly 3-17 and I'm getting a network signal drop every time I turn the screen off and then back on. It comes back sometimes in about 10 seconds or sometimes takes over a minute to get bars again. Anyone else having this problem? Tried tweaking mobile network settings, battery saver settings etc and no luck. Frustrating!!
I'm just having two issues hopefully someone can give some insight with. For starters the live display feature seems a little buggy. The display modes only take effect after I change the brightness. Also the screen gets a green tint when the brightness is below about 75%.

screen goes black randomly
This usually happens when I'm reading my Pocket app, the screen just randomly goes black. It's still responsive to touch though because i can still hear unlock screen sounds when i swipe my screen on places where i remember the positions of apps are. A reboot fixes it but it still happens when i read something on Pocket. Any ideas what the problem most likely is? I did a clean install of the rom but problem persists.

That's a big problem with CM 12.1 on mako and v500 ATM. The reason is unclear. Since FlexOS is based on CM 12.1 it has the same problem.
Has become my daily driver
Loving this rom, it has as the title say become my daily driver.
For folks suffering with the blank screen, I had tried all the various "solutions" to no avail. After further reading it appears this is a kernel bug introduced by CM 12.1. Luckily this rom (and probably many others) works perfectly well with a pre CM 12.1 kernel. I'm using RedKernel V 15 with no apparent issues. Spread the word
Images
I tested it and it's fluid, but the camera this "strange" because it does not use the entire screen and the image of bootlogo also doesn't take up the entire screen (but initialization is amazing! very fast!!)
And when you don't have any recent apps appears the logo of rom, found it ugly.
Do I have to flash SuperSU in order to have root on this ROM? Or does it offer built-in root access?

Can anyone share his experience with this rom?
In principle it's cm12.1 with a few extra things kanged from everywhere. Most of them are IMHO not really necessary.
Awesome!
This made me upgrade from mahdi 4.4. Rom. Really gave new life to my G Pad 8.3. It's now far snappier in UI and browsing than my Nvidia shield tablet with L 5.1 (excellent for gaming though). Been using temasek builds on SGSIII and other devises before and I've always found them stable and reliable with just the right amount of customisation/simplicity ratio. Happy to see that this ROM still on goes full heartily development. Looking forward to see if a SGS6 version will emerge eventually.
bug ?
This rom has the black screen bug?
button
How to put the button back on the left side?
Landscape mode rotation issue
Any idea to fix this rotation issue?
