[Q] How to find Product Code using codes instead of KIES?

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, SM-P605 as listed in my signature. I had tried previous codes to find the "product code". I am guessing it is either XSP or MM1 based on the CSC code input on the sammobile.com site. The phone/phablet is the LTE model from Singapore (from tropical_mobile on eBay) and unbranded (there were 5 choices on sammobile.com).
Is there a different code than any listed here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069015 or here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603210
I don't normally use KIES as suggested here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313756
Though, working with KIES just now, I do have the latest firmware PDA:MJ9 / PHONE:MJ4 / CSC:MJ2 (XME).
Does this imply my product is XME instead of XSP or MM1 as I thought?
Apparently, it does. I have a Malaysian ROM and not a Singaporean ROM (found the XME related to the CSC code via sammobile.com).
Though, I was hoping not have to install KIES since I have not used for any of my other Samsung devices.
Hope this helps someone in case they were wondering about their product code unless if there is a code that you key into the keypad??

I read on other thread about an user that bought his tablet from tropical_mobile and on his box there was written the Malaysian code. I think with *#1234# on phone dialer you have the correct answer also if you had already checked kies.
I've also ordered mine from tropical_mobile and I'm waiting it that should arrive next week.
Are you planning to flash another stock rom with your country's csc?

Check the installed firmware version under "Settings --> About phone", post the version here and I can get you the link for the latest available firmware.

Thats not specific enough as too many regions with the same firmware version are available. You can use Phone INFO - Samsung to read out
region code / country
Latest official Android is 4.4.2
firmware I9195XXUCNK1 can be flashed (instaled) using ODIN.

I can't find any valuable informations about your device. SCH-I435 is Verizon's S4 mini. Which carrier is the I435L?

1. In ONE ROM you have MORE THAN ONE COUNTRY
2. By flashing rom, recovery, rooting the phone it is possible to loose warranty or bricking the phone.
3. You can follow these steps:
- Download the rom (firmware) acording to your country from samfirmware or sam-updates websiet.
example 1: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9195/SWC/
example 2: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9195/AUT/
In that Rom there will also be country like HU, DE, IT, FR and so on.
The software/rom will "take" the CSC for choosing if is a O2 or an ITM or Vodaphone or Verizon etc. after flashing it.
So, you need to change CSC, if you wish to swich from IT to DE for example, and that CSC to be contained into the ROM.
But to change CSC you need root, as far as I can see.

You will not have any problem flashing different region.
Mine was panama Latin America, but I've flashed Russia, India, Germany, different carrier for my country and all worked fine.

It appeared in samsung's official website and seems to be sold without contract.
It has almost the same hardware to I435.

The phone is not listed as SCH-I435L. The firmware version on Samsung's website is SCH-I435ZKAXAR, search engine shows I435"L"... in title but its not listed anywhere on the Samsung website. If you click on "retailer" online or locally you won't get listed any shops selling this model. The common sources for Samsung firmware don't provide any downloads. Its as the phone doesn't exist. Only option left is to contact Samsung's customer care.

It doesn't matter which region you choose.

Maybe contacting samsung's customer care is ultimate way. The i435L does exist cuz I abtained the firmware version from an ebay's seller.

i found a correct rom but...
The rom has same version i got now (4.2.2)... will something happen if I flash a rom that has same version?

Change CSC on N975W

Does anyone know how to correctly change CSC on the Canadian N975W? I purchased a used Note 10+ that the previous user bought from Samsung direct but had a Bell sim so the CSC shows BMC and has bell bloatware. I'm trying to change it to KDO but no luck with any firmwares yet. Any ideas or steps I'm missing?
Tried both KDO and XAC firmware but the file names seem that they're the exact same from both updato and SamFirm.
Using patched odin and everything loads fine - using CSC not the Home CSC.

it should change depending on sim inserted as long as it contains the csc on the device.
you can use phone info or similar to see available csc.
you can also try *#272*IMEI#
Domt think itll help but i believe you could also install U and U1 firmwares to ur W variant. Maybe trying the U1 will help

Or just pay for chimera..at least it can change csc on g975u now

Change CSC of my NOTE 10+ Taiwan Model (SM-N9750)

So, I purchased my Note 10+ on ebay and found out it's Taiwan model (CSC-BRI). I live in Australia and Samsung has Exynos version here. Can I change my CSC to Australia so that I can use Samsung Health Monitor? I don't want to root my phone yet.
I tried installing TGY (Hong Kong) firmware from Sammobile hoping HK will have Samsung Health Monitor but it didn't change CSC. I used CSC file in ODIN instead of HOME_CSC.
Note: I have galaxy watch 4 from Australia.

Question At&t z fold 4 SM-F936U or SM-F936U1

Hello all now I'm just confused so my zFold4 says it's the SM-F936U and I did the updates sense i figured if the US varients are not rootable as of now im just going to update it to the 13 update and after it up dated twice last night and it wasn't on 13 and says it's up to date and sammobile doesn't show the at&t firmware under the 936U but it does as the 936U1, so for others who have the SMT936U1 verify theirs shows 936U or does it actually show 936U1 and I do apologize if this has already be gone over I just haven't seen anyone else talk about, with that said should I just do the csc to the 936u1??

Update: so it appears SamMobiles latest smf936u1 firmware is F936U1UES1AVJ1 and my device still shows I'm on the current update F936USQSAVII so I guess my device is just SMF936U, as well with that said do any of you with either of these models do your devices show oem unlock??
Update2: so did some research on the csc codes of the firmware I should be using AT&T csc but the firmware that has a csc of tmk at least from the site with all csc codes with that said my smf936u is running MetroPCS CSC firmware , and then of you look up smf936u1 firmware on sammobile it has all sorts of different csc varients!! So it's even more confusing!!

With that said I'm pretty all varients are rootable the only thing stopping it is hidden OEM unlock!!
