[rom]cm12 r4 - Xiaomi Redmi 1S

I ve installed cm 12 r4 unofficial in my redmi 1s. The major problem i have is the phone is very very laggy when charging. Other times its super fluid.
The other thing is there is no option to save camera pic and vids in sd card.
When recording video there is a distracting skip frame.

yup. just go to the thread to see.

Lag while charging - aggressive thermal config which throttles CPU very easily since Redmi 1S itself has heating issues too.

[Q] Bug in TeamCanjica rom?

Hi i'am noob and i can't reply in thread about cm10.2 created by TeamCanjica. My phone work faster than on standard rom, but i have one bug with autorotate screen. Screen rotate one time and stop, and don't go back to previous direction. Next bug is with program Fileexpert it can't see externalSD. Other programs doesen't have problem with it.
Sorry for my english, but im just learning it.

I installed cm-10.2-20131104-UNOFFICIAL-codina and gapps-jb-20130813-signed.

I reported and i don't get any reply...
Course, only admin can reply. Have you tried recalibrating accelerometer in ace 2 settings?

That rotation is not bug in rom... I had it on stock too. Calibrating might solve problem... But firmware reflash solves it for sure..

Reported alarm-related bug in bugreports section of CM10.2 dev thread some time ago, now I can't see it in list -- does that mean it was resolved or deleted as non-reproducible?
it means that it is cm souce bug and we cant do anything there
also that is not bug, may be feature. alarm will not ring again if you delete notification...

Well, then maybe its better to mark it as "CM source bug" in topic head spoilers to avoid re-discovering it again by other users in future?

My approach is simple: disabled thing shouldn't perform any actions, i.e. disabled timer shouldn't tick, disabled alarm shouldn't sound and so on. So even if CM developers thinks that it is a feature - it is a very bad one, really

Fix for Camera' first-time power button shutter bug, must be applied to CM sources
Also, default USB charging current is 500mA (according to driver code), not 600mA like declared in DeviceSettings

Cm 10.2.1 less stable than 10.2

Is it just me or has any else felt that cyanogenmod 10.2.1 is less smooth and stable than 10.2?

Yes i'm feeling some issues but still working fine.
Hope anyone describe this in details
It is very stable but a *little* laggy at times but not so much that its annoying. Also batt life is really good so as far as I'm concerned, its good enough for me
I guess the slight stutter at times is due to the frequent switchover to the lp-core in the tegra 3 soc. I have noticed it happens around ~ 475mhz mostly which sort of makes sense as the lp core is designed with a max clock of 500MHz. The stutter doesn't occur at higher freqs. This is also maybe the cause for the increase in batt life.
Oh yea, I checked it in terminal by:
su
watch cat /sys/kernel/cluster/active

G: General cores
LP: Low Power core
Was running music and pulling the notification bar up and down to force higher clocks. Music sometime stuttered @ 475mhz when G switches to LP and vice-versa.
Honestly this is a crude test and there may also be issues due to poorly optimized drivers(thanks nvidia!).
Just my 2 cents.

Yes I am using it. Similar to CynanogenMod. I so far don't see a big difference. A tiny bit better with the battery on the last nightly that I tried. I am going to update to the latest nightly and see what happens.
only issue I have so far, the music player will randomly resume songs when I place the device or pick it up or anything. Not frequent but happens at the worst of times (when I am beginning an important meeting etc)

Even usbhost had difficulties with the asop rom on oreo. It was my newbie impression, never the less. I think you will make it. It's just a matter of time and trying again.
