Given the "Southport" UK in your profile, the OTA will be a European rom.

Hi so it will update to the European version if I flash the Korean one if an OTA comes out? Thanks!

Ah, like that. No idea. Once you start flashing rather then take stock ota's, the answer doesn't really matter anymore.

I am really tempted to flash the Korean. Are there any major differences. What would you do? Hold out for the OTA or flash manually?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
DO IT!
(no, not a major difference really, just wait for the ota)

So the app is downloadable but it asks for framework, and m919 is not there.
Does anyone know how to get the framework on the stock rom? (I repeat stock rom, not infamous rom.)

I do believe the framework from another GS4 model would work; don't know why it would have to be model-specific.

I do believe ours is MDL... unless a new update has been pushed through T-Mobile.... though I don't think so. You could always make a backup and try to install the framework for one of the others... if it doesn't work, just restore that backup and no harm done.

Aren't those the ports from the i9505 who apparently receives more regular updates than us? Like, MDL->MEA->MF4 or whatever...

Did some research and you're right, there's no framework for MDL, so which one should I try?

As I said before, best bet would be to make a nandroid backup and try one. If it doesn't work, you can always fall back to a working backup. Well, that or use an i9505 ROM with the updates already added; but I assume WiFi calling is an issue so that would rule out the intl versions.
You can't, the dev of three minute has asked that no dev port his framework without his consent. At the moment, only infamous has the ok to use it.

I'm sure it will get updated, but the device has only been out on the market for a short while. How quick would you expect it to be updated? I personally can't give to many complaints with the device as it is though.

On my nexus so I can't post a more direct link. Choose Verizon and then RAZR m and we are officially getting 4.4!
So... anyone else excited?

You beat me by 10 minutes - just saw it there as well - doesn't say when, but at least we know it's coming -
Very cool. But my only concern is that if I go back to the stock ROM, And take the 4.4 OTA update,... I will lose my unlocked bootloader. Not sure. But if or when Kit-Kat comes to the RAZR M,.... I'll wait for a custom ROM version. Thanks for great news and the heads up.

Possibly a bootloader loophole in 4.4 if we're lucky, but I'm fine with the update.

I wouldn't bet on another exploit.

I wouldn't worry. When Dan cracked the boot loader he made it crystal clear that it is physically impossible to relock due to the nature of the qfuse. So they may break other things like root ... But they can't relock your boot loader.
At the beginning of the link they say they will tell you when the update will happen but that information isn't given in the razr m section. Am I missing something?
