I have a htc one x (tegra3) stock rom rooted unlocked bootloader and s on. I am using CWM. Today, I tried to flash nextcpu kernel via fastboot. After that the phone booted up but was stuck in airplane mode. Searched on google for stock kernel, and flashed one, but that resulted in bricking my device. Tried restoring via nandroid backup, no success. Now I am stuck with no help! Also, my hboot got updated from 1.36 to 1.72. And I am not even able to access my device storage to pull my data somehow (tried the mount as usb storage on CWM, no results).
HELP MEEE !!!

Oh yeah. My bad. I found the fix.
I had a nandroid backup on my pc which I made 3 months back. I extracted the boot.img and then flashed it via fastboot and erased the cache. Did the trick for me !!

Hi everyone!
I'm a noob I do admit first of all.Recently I wanted to flash custom roms on my phone. So essentially I had to unlock the bootloader first.I managed to do that and even get the CWM recovery.img to flash.I installed CM10 Nightly but I got a bootloop. As I found out,I needed to flash the compatible boot.img for it to boot up.But here's the thing.I was pretty sure I flashed the right img,but now it just stays on the white 'Quietly Brilliant' screen. After locking and unlocking the phone again,it was supposed to reboot and start normally right? But that wasn't the case for me.Now it's stucked on the 'Quietly Brilliant' screen and doesn't boot up.I can go to the bootloader and CWM recovery, but apparently there's nothing for me to backup from there. All the error message I got was "no such file"
This was yesterday and I left the phone to charge for the whole night. This morning I saw the LED light indicates it's fully charged but I'm still stucked on the same screen. What can I do to solve this? I can't even mount usb from the CWM recovery to do manual installation of roms or files..Please can anyone help me?
I'm using an iMac and my phone is the international One X.And what is a RUU? Do I need that now and how do I get it and know if it's the right one? I need this phone to be up ASAP as I'm using it for work too.Ya,I don't have a spare phone. Please help. Thanks a million, much appreciated.
Did you erase cache from fastboot?
Fastboot erase cache
I'm pretty sure it will boot after that.
You should be able to mount SD as USB, you need cwm 5.8.4.0.
just Extract boot.img from Zip file you flashed, save it to Fastboot folder then flash it.
fastboot flash boot bootfilename.zip
I guess It may help you.
Press THNAKS if you like.

Hello
I installed TWRP 2.4.0.0 on my HTC One X and cyanogenmod 10.2
The phone had network connectivity issues after this - it would connect for 5 minutes and then would lose connection for about 10 mins and then would connect again...
I then tried restoring the nandroid backup I had made but the phone has now lost all network connectivity and the IMEI number has disappeared when I type *#06# but still appears when I use fastboot getvar all
Here is my getvar all information

mmhhhh, if my memory is right, there is no RUU for 4.18 main-version, you need a stock nandroid backup... restore it via recovery, install the stock recovery (look around to find it) and relock bootloader, this should work
Here restore this - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64946445/JB-4.2.2-stock-factory_H3G_001.7z
Sent from my HTC One X
Can you upload it again please. I need it to restore my friends device.
He f..d it up and I restored it but the touch is not working.
Then I got main version 4.18.771.4 but I don't have nandroid of it or RUU.
Thank's in advance.
Hey i bought a HTC one X from Ebay. it already came rooted and with S-off .. so i decided to flash rom and i downloaded a wrong ROM and wiped system by mistake. Now my phone has no ROM installed in it and i wiped my system. ADB is not working because i did not enable debugging. SO i cannot sideload a ROM. what should i do now ? Fastboot is working though.
I tried flashing many RUU's but i dont know which region it is. can any one tell me what ruu should i use ? Oh and i forgot , i flashed a wrong boot.img and recovery.img also , so i dont know what boot.img i should flash also. But i have s-off i should be able to flash anu RUU right? why is it not happening ? Thanks !!

Download any of the top 5 files in this link: http://htc.vi8.info/hTC-One-X/
Go into fastboot, open CMD on computer, type "fastboot oem lock", then in fastboot open the file you downloaded
That should flash a stock rom
Hello everyone,
To start off with I love my HTC ONE X, but it time for an upgrade. SO I was but my phone back to stock as my mum wants and the custom firmware I was run was a bit to much for her.
I follow this guide *captaindbg.com/how-to-revert-back-to-stock-on-htc-one-x* as I found easy to follow.
It work fine, loads up and seem to be working fine
BUT
There is an update for the system, when I go to install it it loads HBOOT and at the top of the screen it says
****security warning******
**relocked****
Any help would be great, In nice easy noobs steps
Thank

Download THIS after that copy ROM zip to a folder on your SD card flash boot.img via fastboot after this install rom via custom recovery and finally flash stock recovery. But if you are sure you are on stock rom just flash the stock recovery and install the update. But first unlock your bootloader again after flash stock recovery or hole rom you can relock it again

for you you must to find nandroid backup for your base 4.19.707.4 and restore it via custom recovery if you want stock ROM or you can flash custom rROM sense or no sense. To see your sd card in recovery you must flash Philz 5.15.9 recovery and mount your sd card from recovery.

bootloader - UNLOCKED.
I was on stock rom + root. I did factory reset and now my phone is stuck on HTC logo.
Now I wiped all partition and my sdcard is empty.
Help me restore my phone's functionality. I can get into CWM or bootloader but that's all.

Ok thanks. I will try.
One more question:
3.14.401.31
3.18.401.1
3.20.401.1
4.18.401.2
4.18.401.3
Which one is the newest version? 4.18.401.3? Can I use that version to flash my phone?
PS. Thank you very much. It worked.
If 4.18 is the latest, can I update to it now? And how?
PS2. I tried to update from phone menu to 3.20.. but after the restart firmware was still the old one 3.18.
PS3. I tried to update once again and now it worked. Strange, but now i am on 3.20. Will continue to update
PS4. There is even 4.18.401.4
