[Q] Android Wear & Bluetooth taking almost half my battery daily! hardware problem?
So I have had my 360 for a week after having the LG G watch since launch. My G watch with normal use would have about 3 days in it. My moto 360 however is being killed in under a day because Android Wear and Bluetooth are taking so much battery. I have calibrated the battery and reset and reinstalled all apps, brightness on 1, ambient off, tilt to wake off, made sure the watch syncs apps while still on charger abd it still drops like a brick. I don't use it excessively witch is something I learned when ingot the G Warch. I'm using the watch with my Galaxy S5 with 5.0 if this helps.

So here is a screen shot of an nfc chip implementation used in my car.
After tagging, besides the usual wifi off, rotation on, etc i used tasker to create this scene which allows me to launch just about everything i do in my cars.
Besides the obvious, the 1 touch brightness buttons are there for night vs day driving, bluetooth off because one of our cars has no BT, etc...
I really hope this nfc stuff takes off as it has been extremely helpful and is an amazing time saver.
Your device upgraded? Which version?
Samsung i747, CM10
Nice usage and integration w/ tasker. The only issue is I wish the average consumer wasnt intimidated by tasker. There are some very productive, efficient uses with NFC. The feature I saw on cnn with the reporte using tasker and locale gives me hope.

One of the reasons why I written off the G Watch R is the few cases I heard of people having screen burn in.
And since the Zenwatch also has a OLED screen, I worry about it experiencing the same. Has anyone experienced this yet? Or did Asus implement some screen shift or method to prevent burn in.
Didn't mean to thank you... ) anyway, there is screen shift to prevent that. I'm not worried about it.
You can set it so the screen powers off after a while. Very useful feature that the G Watch R doesn't have bc it has no ambient light sensor (wtf?!!).
ZenWatch doesn't have one either. It seems only the Moto 360 and Sony SW3 have ambient light sensors.
When zenwatch is in dim mode there is s shift every minute on the minute

Yep, it's a problem. They won't honour warranty as they don't sell in Australia either
So I've noticed my battery life pulling in at just about one day lately, which is a lot worse than it used to be (I cycle different batteries regularly so no single one is super worn out). I started checking my battery info, and a service com.oculus.horizon:fbns seems to be culprit. Thing is, while it's a Gear VR thing, that service doesn't even appear under the applications and services information in the all list. Many other com.** things do but not that one. I can't stop it, disable it, and disabling the gear VR applications doesn't seem to stop it either. Is there anything I can do?

Oculus Battery Drain here too
I am having the same issue. Very frustrating... There are only a few phone models that this software is designed for, why cant they get it right?
Here's a suggestion. I've never tried it since I use Titanium Backup. Maybe it'll work.
Hey folks,
I bet that many of you could remember my name, i was author of many nightlies for our beloved Note2.
My note2 pass away a few weeks ago, there was no accident or drop. Just dead in my hands while was browsing...
I could save my info, disconecting display so the phone boot up and allows me under adb save pics, etc.
As you could see under this pictures, when the phone boots, just a low darkgreen light shows up.. Did anywone have the same trouble? This device comes with me since the beginning in September 2012 with the launch time.. yep nearly 4 years. I would like to save it (i have a new motoG 2015 2gbram) but changing display its more than 120€... its insane.
To sum up i´ll say, when the phone boots up appears this low green in display and in a while the phone reboot itself without no lights, when the display its disconnected the phone complete boot and works obvious without display/imge.
Just asking if someone found this problem and what have you ...

Guys I upgraded my active 2 to Tizen 5.5 yesterday. Since then the plugin's RAM usage start to EXPLODE (you can see the peek close to 5GB!).
I tried "clear cache/data", i even failed twice when re-pairing because the plugin drained RAM and killed by system.
Now my phone is laggy and warm (battery dies so quick) thanks to the plugin.
If you wonder how I'm so deterministic, I uninstalled this plugin half-day ago and everything starts to be fine...
My phone is OnePlus 7 pro and it cooperates with active 2 perfectly since last year I purchased the watch.

Same issue. Watch keeps disconnecting because Android clears RAM everytime it explodes. Any solution?
