Hello every one!
I have a problem with my Galaxy Note II N7100. I was trying to install a custom rom but ended up in a boot loop.
here is what happened:
First I rooted my phone with a Galaxy Note 2 Toolkit V3.0.0
after rooting i noticed that when i try to go to recovery my screen splashes, flickers for some time and goes blank. And some times it keeps doing this infinitely.
Then i installed TWRP latest version but it didn't fixed the problem. After trying several option i some how went into the TWRP recovery and installed a custom ROM but my phone did not booted. Same screen flickering problem.
I decided to flash a stock rom ALJ2 (which was the stock rom when i bought the phone)
I flashed the stock rom, now the problem is my phone goes into boot loop and wont start.
Now my phone dont start up.
It has binary counter raised to 4 (Can't use triagle away because phone can not boot)
I dont have any recovery but my phone can access downloading mode.
if i flash any stock rom it just goes to boot loop. (i tried ALJ2 & DLK7)
I tried USB Jig method but it did not reset my binary counter to zero.
Any help will be much appreciated, as my phone is brand new and still under warranty.
Regards,
Does a red light glow when you start the phone ?

I'm using Philz recovery, if this thing happened on me, I would do a full wipe through recovery... and flash back stock ROM/custom ROM again...

Hi Everyone!
I Just downloaded apps that can switch internal sd card to external sd card and I have to update the kernel and when I reboot my phone it didn't start up and end up my phone don't work..pls help, i'm not good when it comes to technology..

So I was running 4.3 and was rooted on my note 2 on sprint. I had SuperSU and I did a unroot so I could upgrade to 4.4 I unrooted then rebooted then installed 4.3 then things started to go bad. I can get to download mode, but it wont boot past Smasung GALAXY Note II splash screen. Can't even boot to recovery mode. I have used ODIN to flash CWMR, TWRP, stock rom. And nothing works, if the image has a sboot.bin file, ODIN fails everytime. When I flash to correct stock rom ODIM passes but when it boots it boots to the a firmware update error but Samsungs kies just says connecting ... and doesn't ever connect. I don't know if i hard-bricked or soft-bricked my note 2 or if I am just doing something wrong. PLEASE help me I miss my phone lol.
Hello,
today I tried to install the new cyanogenmod 11.0 rom on my ace II (I8160), but I ended up bricking it.
At first I rooted it and it still worked ok, then I installed a custom recovery and used it to install this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2555021 . It worked but I wasn't able to make or receive phone calls. So next I tried to go back to stock by using odin to flash the original rom (I8160XXLH3_I8160OXXLH2_ITV, which should be italian gb) but now the phone won't boot anymore.
Currently, I can still get the phone to boot in odin mode and I can flash any stock rom, but I can't boot it in recovery mode or in normal mode. When I try to do so, the phone just stops at the screen with "Samsung GALAXY Ace 2 GT-I8160" written on it.
Do you know a way to get it to boot normally or should I just buy a new phone?
Nevermind I fixed it by installing the following files via odin:
PIT: GT-I8160_EUR_XX_4G.pit
AP: CODE_I8160XXMB4.tar
CSC: CSC_OXA_I8160OXAMB4.tar
and then installing a stock 4.1.2 rom
I tried to update my Galaxy Tab 3 P5220 which was rooted with CWM to 4.4.2 Kitkat but the flashing failed since CWM happened to be outdated. Then I flashed TWRP recovery with Odin and flashed the stock Galaxy 4.2.2 rom that I had earlier. Then for some reason, every time I turn on the tab, it boots only into recovery mode and no matter what I can never get it to boot into the ROM!! Even when I plug it into the mains for charging without turning it on, it boots into recovery! Can anyone please help, as I have only 14% battery left, and without any way to charge it, I'm doomed! :crying: Any help would be really appreciated
PS- I tried reflashing CWM and TWRP with Odin, all to no avail...

UPDATE - I managed to fix it by flashing a stock ROM with ODIN and all is fine now
I have a virgin mobile sph-l710, which got soft bricked while I was trying to wipe cache. It is running stock 4.3 MK5 rom and twrp 2.6.3 recovery. It stopped responding the USB mode, after I tried programming it via the DFS CDMA tool. Now it can just boot into recovery and does nothing else. If i try booting it normally I am not able to get past the Samsung Galaxy S3 boot screen. I am wondering how to fix both the issues to get working USB and boot normally. I have odin 3.09 and stock 4.4.2 firmware which I will be flashing as soon as things start working. Any suggestion would be really helpful.
