*Alright guys, after seeing a lot of people post random bugs without providing basic information or logs, I decided to make a simple little write up on some basic rules to the thread.
1. Be courteous to one another & try & be helpful when you can. I can't answer every single question as I'm very busy trying to build the best rom I can make for you guys, so if you know a solution to a problem please answer.
2. If you are using xposed, DO NOT POST BUGS! I have already seen people posting issues only to find out it was due to xposed or one of it's modules.
3. When posting bugs, do so with as much information as possible. We can't help you if you don't give the proper information.*
*****
**** What version or the rom are you on?
**** Clean or dirty install?
**** Mainline or Ultimate kernel?
**** Are you using a theme?
**** If you dirty flashed & have problems, did you try a clean install?
*****
4. If you are having random reboots how about providing a log? These are invaluable as they provide the information to fix a real issue with the rom or to tell me that it is a user error.
5. If you are new to aosp or just don't know much about kernels, it is best to stick with the mainline kernel as it is very stable. No need to mess with the settings either as I have the kernel setup to enjoy out of the box.**

Boot's just fine and everything seems to function - the only problem I had was when I make calls I had to press and hold the home button before the screen would come on - other than that, it's awesome.
Could you post the kernel separately as a flashable zip?
Themes....
The only other question I have is if this ROM has Themes like PACMAN ROM does...? I MUST have my CM themes.

Yeah Zion just keeps pumping out great stuff. It seems even the flashers can't keep up with him lol.
Let the fun begin.
Cool! You are amazing @ZION959, really killing it with all the updates for remix, and now a slim ROM to boot!
In the op it says the latest version is 1.0 7/12, but the download links only have .7 7/10. Are you still uploading or is that a mistake in op? Just wondering if I should wait.
Thanks!

Nice rom. Just curious. I did a fresh install of the latest release. Can anyone chime in and let me know if the camera is working for you. I'm getting freezes with the built in cameras. I haven't installed anything yet but just the base rom and the gapps. I'm NOT using xposed or anything else.
Switching from CMRemix to SlimRemix, cannot wait to try this out! @ZION959 by far the greatest developer out here!
This is beautiful, i love everything about it.

nice rom will give it a try later. i want to know one thing can i use touchwiz based camera in this rom thnx in advance
Thanks for the quick response. I did redownload and reflash using the slim gapps (I may have used the incorrect one on my sdcard..... too many stored so I deleted and started fresh). Cameras are working fine. Thanks for all you do sir.
Also. Touchwiz camera will likely never work on an AOSP rom unless you take the time to port all the necessary supporting files. I like to use ProCapture on AOSP roms. It's really nice. I use it on my Nexus 6.
Oh Zion , you even baked in layers manager (Still have to D/l it but very nice to have in settings) and V4A!
Simply amazing! I love it. You da man! Thanks!
Wanted to know is there a way to disable the lockscreen shortcuts? If not, it's not a big deal but was just wondering.

Without using a 3rd part lockscreen, I don't believe so. If you go under security, you can see the shortcut setting for the lockscreen there. Maybe you can MacGyver something to your liking.
Can we get the option to disable heads....nevermind just found it lol

What are you talking about? This is a CM based ROM, has nothing to do with stock GE.
If you're talking about which one to use with GPE variant, jfltetmo is my best guess.

I have tried three lollipop roms so far and they all have problems getting accurate location in Maps when set to high accuracy. I have to manually select between high or device depending on the situation
I'm surprised Google has not fixed it.
What exactly are the "weird issues" with BT, I use BT a lot, so before I flash ans set up, I'd like some intel por favor!
Congratulations for your 1000th thank!

Yeah, there's quite a few download links, it's easy enough to get confused. However OTA should be working so next build shouldn't be an issue

Has anyone reported this? https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=81140
I have tried three lollipop roms so far and they all have problems getting accurate location in Maps when set to high accuracy. I have to manually select between high or device depending on the situation
I'm surprised Google has not fixed it.

This is a KylessPAC project
Being that stuff needed to build working KitKat rom for our devices (kylessopen) @kengnatural and I came to an idea to open one github organization were we will store everything we need to build this ROM, so future devs who are interested in helping out or developing, do not have to struggle with compiling and development of this ROM!.
Who are KylessPAC
Right now only @kengnatural and I are part of KylessPAC team, but anyone who is willing to contribute and to make ROMs for Kylessopen better, is free and encouraged to join! This device still has some life in it,so why not play and learn with it?

hmm.. I was using xxlj3 modem on the moment I told you ril is finally fixed but really buggy, then I switched to xxbjm1 and that's where it became stable.
Modem-baseband plays a roll when it comes to wifi-RIL stuff.
When you flash cusrom ROM you don't flash modem,as modem is on different partition and its recommended never to switch your modem, use one you've got with phone (your stock rom).
If you do mess up modem, jus download your stock rom and flash it via Odin/Heimdall and youll be a-okay

It is a bug. The ROM itself is 64-bit.
32-bit Gapps will work easily.
A new build compiled using latest tree will fix the arm bug easily. However, only the op can do that.
