Fastboot images only, so I will post install instructions for windows by henno87 that posted later in this thread:

get platform-tools from sdk, or fastboot files. Then open command prompt from there (shift+right-click in windows). Then boot phone into fastboot mode (volume buttons+power). Connect to pc. Make sure to have usb drivers installed. Copy the img file to the the fastboot/platform-tools folder.
Type:
fastboot devices
- this looks for your phone. If it finds you're good, if not you need usb drivers.
fastboot flash recovery "name of recovery file" (be sure to include extension)
- in this case it'd be
fastboot flash recovery cwm-touch-recovery-6.0.1.1.img
- alternatively you can rename it to something easier like cwmrecover.img
And that's it

I'm assuming if you use Linux you know how to use fastboot, so I'll attach the binary for it. If someone wants to send me the Windows fastboot binary I'll attach that also.
Thanks dude!
Thanks dude! Flashed it and works great! Just wondering, what exactly changed from 6.0.1.0?

Just flash it through fastboot. Flashable zips have issues with the recovery partition.

I found some workaround in that I pushed the zip files to the recovery first and then using file manager in TWRP, copied it to sdcard and voila. How did you solved it? What did you do?

And I tried both otter and otterx ROM but they are not working.

[Q] Forgotten password on Kindle Fire

Hey,
I have a Kindle Fire that I haven't used in ages, and I can't remember what the password is. It's a simple PIN lock only consisting of numbers. Does anyone know how to recover the password?

I bet that I sound like a moron right now, but is that a how-to-root link?
no, not exactly
custom Recovery and Bootloader, without root
in twrp you should be able to mount SD card to pc
but you will need a fastboot cable.

Recovery mode just loops (ASUS ZE551ML)

Hello, I have a problem with my ASUS Z00AD.
Problem: I want to flash my phone back to a stock ROM but when I enter recovery mode it just restarts the bootloader.
What I think the cause of the problem is: I tried to use TWRP without root. I have already rooted my phone before but unrooted it because of a system update.
My phone works everything fine except this bootloader.
I need help please.
Have you tried reflashing recovery
