Kindly guide me for this. Whether its safe to update it, From were to get the updated ROM and how to fix it. I will be of great help Sir. just go to JAmericans site, or do a search on youtube. i learned to do my first flash from his youtube video....and now about twelve times later, my phone is better than ever.....and so is the dash i rebuilt for my wife. and as far as software....i have no idea where to find it.....other than in this forum, and in the sticky's

You have to provide some info! Which network, country, SLCD or Amoled?
Download an ruu then run it.

I tried going back to stock RUU (waranty return) and the program would never run till I removed the windows hboot driver.
After that I was back to stock in a matter of minutes.

Try this thread to find your original ROM. You have to give more info, though; there are stock ROMs for all around the world, and you might have a hard time pinpointing your exact RUU.

Thanks Mate. There is a separate thread for TWRP backup I requested so that in case someone mess up their phone and unable to restore (most probably because new users do not wish to take backup in hurry)
You can backup the oeminfo file through multi tool and share for your model.

Is erecovery.img the recovery2.img or was that a typo and you just meant recovery.img?
