Hello All...Someone can tell, what are the dependences (apk/config/jar) to fix the remote controls (Samsung FindMyMobile) option. I cant turn it on, always grey toggle.
Im using @Usol ROM (android 444) and it was fine till aplied @AholicCert ModV9, i didnt ask in their respective threads cause no one is using this combination (USOL ROM+Aholic MOD)
Beside this litte problem, all is working just beautiful^^.
Anway im trying to fix it with a nandroid and installing piece at piece of ModV9, but a specifc direction will be very helpfull.
Early thx.
**Edit**
I should tried the simply way...Like, clear data and cache from control remote (with aplication manager) and after that remove Samsung account and add it again direct in the remote controls option inside system>>security tab. Now its all alive and kicking ^^.

the most amazing program ive ever used to date thanks so much for posting after they work out all the bugs this can be the best...
I Agree, awesome program.
Couple of issues/questions though........... The volume control doesn't seem to work. I would note that there is a comment saying that it is being worked on but wondering if it works in an earlier addition?
Also, is there a way to force the new start/task bar to totally replace the normal bar. That is, it doesn't revert back to the old bar after phone calls etc.
Thanks for any help...

it does not work?
On my O2 Cosmo (HTC S620) with WM5 it seems to work fine and I didn't see any problem so far with the volume control but didn't test it extensively yet.
Volume control
Seems to work ok on my WM6 Dash.
Ro
i download the file but i couldnt install from the storage card, so i copied to program files and its like it runs but not installed on the device memory? has anyone else had the same problem?
This version of the program doesn't install in the usual way.
It's ok that you cannot find it in the menu "remove programs"
As I understand the author plans "clean" install/uninstall for the final version.
If you want to uninstall simply terminate SmartToolKit (there is a menu item) and remove the .exe file from your phone.
Attention:
Be sure to set (STK-)"Startmenu" to "3 default" before you terminate and remove, else you'll get an error when you press the "home" button. If this happens you have to start the tool again and set the STK-startmenu to default.
(not easy when you cannot access the WM-startmenu to run the filemanager )
I dont mind that i cant remove it, seems like everytime i power off and back on, i dont have it anymore.. the options i mean!

Hello
How can I bypass the tap to continue welcome screen ?
I have HTC Universal and the touch screen isn't working.
Is there a way to bypass the screen or any other solution ?
I will try to fix it or buy a new one but dont have money right now.
i suppose you could cook a rom with the smartphone edition of WM6.1
you need to use device specific drivers though

Well, Do you have a back up???
If you do have one with valid restore data, you can recook your rom with the registry calibration data in it.
There is a program to restore backed up calibration data, can't remember the name, but I have it at office. PM me & I'll send it from my office monday.
IN THE MEAN TIME: Use Soti Pocket Controler. You can view & use touch screen
Soti can control while in the tap screen? I never though of that. Thats becoming part of the standard package of advice i give to people in this situation
I tried to figure out what happens with audio manager 2.0 when you turn the device in suspend mode and the music stop playing, but i have no answers, i tried in mostly all new cooked rooms available in this forum so i think that is a problem with manila2d... any one can help me?
maybe changing the registry setting HKLM-Software-HTC-Audiomanager-Config dword: enter_suspend value: 1 ; change to: 0 can solve this?
i tried that and no results! :_(
hm, ok... i could not try before, cause i'm on work now and can not run my musicplayer
Any body figure out how to stop this happening?
I assume all these different manialla roms are based from the same core Rom and maybe the problem is their?
I also noticed, that third party players like Core Player also get terminated when you push the power button, seems a common problem and one that I'd like to fix, as leaving the phone on while playing music seems a tad excesive.
well first.. the new YuE v11.3 3.15.20755 rom with manila is solved this problem..(not the previous V11.1)
and this is the rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=434516
and who don't want to flash a new rom.
i used an application or tweaker called pocket toolman
http://pockettoolman.blogspot.com/
just go to settings and then enable the screen toggle and then assign a hard bottom to it soo al players will work.
hint. this tool opens in the try .. so if you want to use it with manila open it twice from the programs.
cheers

Does anybody actually have a working Growing Panel for a Xperia X1 with WM 6.1 stock rom (R3AA)? So far I have only found the SE original one (not working) or the one that was released months ago (2010 bug). I would greatly appreciate to have the Growing Panel back. Its just beautyful!
The growing panel you have is not working because you need to install additional software that i have attached. If it still does not work maybe you need to change some registry settings. Good luck!
Those files are already installed on my phone. I have got the city night and day panel and they work without any problems. But the growing panel does not. Like I wrote before I have got the one released on xda which works but cant handle the year 2010 (the last two digits of the year keep changing forever) and the one from SE website which does not work at all (does not respond to inputs and finally crashes). Has anybody managed to get the growing panel working on a xperia x1 with stock rom R3AA and the original panel manager? It would be great if you could advise me how I can solve this problem.
Hey,
Well I have the growingpanel on the R3A panelmanager with the stock rom and it worked perfectly after I installed the above files... But I heard of some people that had a similar problem because PixelCity and Growingpanel don't work together... Why don't you try the X2 panelmanager?
As far as I know you can only get the growing panel form SE website, or if you get it from xda it will have the year bug... There are no other versions.
Altae, you have a german rom ? in which folder is the growing panel installed ? Perhaps you must edit the pfad in registry.
Hmm.. I don't think it is a registry problem.
Because when you get the growing panel from the SE website the Cab will be in your own language because you have to choose your country before entering the website.... So it is automatically adjusted to your registry settings.
But if nothing else helps maybe it's worth looking into.
If I try the panel since 6 month ago - it`s instal in ProgramFiles Folder and not in Programme - But if he gives no answer, than we don`t know what matter.
Yeah you're right!
Thanks to everybody for your advice. I use a german rom and Im well aware of the necessity to check and maybe adapt the reg keys so they point to the correct folder. If you dont do the panel wont even show up in the panel manager. I tried the X2 panel manager too but I consider it far to unstable. It caused the media xperience panel to break so I went back to the X1 panel manager. What I dont get is the fact that the growing panel from XDA reliably works no metter how many times I install and uninstall it (apart from the 2010 bug). But the one from SE wont. I mean in both cases I need the flash files and nonetheless there seems to be some kind of difference between the two.
Hmm I still can't figure out what the problem could be
As I said, I have growing panel working on original panel manager just fine... And you allready tried registry settings etc...
Maybe you can use R3A panel manager (this is a newer version than the stock one) ... It is in the Panels Library thread and I think it is very stable.
I attached my Growing panel cab just in case, maybe that will work for you for some reason. I had it working on my stock Dutch Rom and now that I use an English Rom it still works.
Hope one of these things help..
Because they have been requested I share the cabs required to run the city night panel. Using these files the city night panel works flawlessly on my X1 with R3AA stock rom (Switzerland, German).
I've had some success with the growing panel. I installed the cab attached to this post (it contains both, ActiveX_Flash_Deployment and the X2 Flash Files) which I found here at XDA. Now the panel works at least partially but there remain two slight problems.
1. The plant on the left which should indicate the battery status doesn't work. It neither shows the correct status nor does it flash when the phone is being charged. What's more it does not bring up the power menu when tapped even though the plant moves as it should when tapped.
2. The plant on the right (the blue one) that should indicate the signal strengh does not work too. It always shows full signal strengh no matter how bad coverage might be.
Any advice how to get a fully working growing panel back? If only someone could fix the growing panel available at XDA. That one worked without any problems (apart from the date bug).
in attached cab i find no 2010 problem, while i had floating date problem in other versions. Also have X2_Flash_panels and active x deployment
Hey Folks,
I'm using the Desire HD with the Cyanogen Mod 7 (latest Version from 2 Days ago).
Now I connected via Menu (Wireless & Networks --> Bluetooth) a simple "noname" Bluetooth Mouse and the pairing did happen. I used "0000" as Pairing-Code and the Desire gives me the Message "Connected with HID-Device" (or something like that, I use the german language).
Now I should see a Mousearrow or something should happen if I scroll or press a Button.
But nothing happens.
The Mouse itselft works properly - I tried it in Windows7 and Suse-Linux.
I also tried the App BlueInput (latest and some previous versions) but there its the same. I get connected properly but it wont work.
Now I'm hopefully waiting for your ideas (and I hope there are some)
Thanks in advance!
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, you want to use a mouse to control your handset? Where the handset is directly in front of you?
I dont know if Android supports this. If you wish to remotely control your handset try WebKey from the market.

Well, there is also a possibility to make use of a WiiMote...
I see this more as a proof of concept.
What about the Motorola Atrix within its "to-Netbook-conversation-Docking"?
Internal Keyboard + BT Mouse = playable Quake3 on Android
Err bubble to bursting station, you can use a wiimote on a DHD quite easily. You can even do it with Apps available from the market place, hey you can even use the classic controller and nunchuck with it.
I have used it (not entirely successfully) to play N64 games on an emulator
At first : Thanks for your responses!

Yes, I want to control my Desire HD with a mouse when I stand next to it. If I wouldn't, I wouldn't have asked for it
The thing is that I need a Mousewheel - or at least something that can emulate one.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the WiiControl doesn't have such a feature.
What I found out is, that the Cyanogen 7 doesn't support Mouseweel-Actions.
I installed the latest 6.1 - et voilla - I get a Cursor and the Mousewheel works.
But unfortunately it doesn't work if I use it in a Flashmovie with the WebKit-Browser.
It seems that the Events are not tunneled into the Flashapp.
Someone got an idea for a workaround?
Ps: I like the idea of playing Quake3 on my Desire - but I prefer Quake1
Is there a way of using the mousewheel in a self-written application!?
That could also solve my problem
I mean, in the Cyanomod I can scroll around through lists an so on. There must be a way! (hopefully)
