Can I use Flashify to... - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Flash the LG G tab 8.3's stock recovery? I have TWRP installed but I want to remove it and replace it with the stock recovery img. Is this possible to do and if so where can I get the latest Stock recovery for the Verizon version?

Yes, and you can get the stock recovery.img from my Android File Host pages. You can find a link in my 24A KDZ thread in the Development (non-original) section. I only have the 23A stock recovery.img uploaded currently, haven't uploaded the rest of 24A partitions besides the system.img so far.

I am just trying to restore my GSM gnex to 100% stock, anyone have a totally stock ROM or link?

I just use ODIN or what?
Im usually an HTC guy and use CWM, so this samsung stuff is new to me, I was going to flash a compiled zip via CWM then use the toolkit to flash stock recovery, but with this tgz file I just use odin instead?
edit:
figured it out, nvm

How do I put TWRP on stock rooted KK 4.4.2 Sprint G2?

All I want to do is install TWRP on KK 4.4.2 STOCK ROOTED G2 Sprint..........to test the cool camera mods out there.
How do I do this?
Is there an easy way ?.........or one not requiring Loki_flash (because that file is missing from the source site.
I tried finding a stock-based KK rom for sprint but there seems to be only a JB stock rom......while I have TWRP 2.7 on stock JB rooted.
What is the best or easiest way that would work?
Thanks for any info.

Use this program auto-rec.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2715496
This will downgrade aboot, flash recovery, flash kernel, fix laf partition.
Which makes it available to tot back if there is an issue by fixing download mode

Click to collapse
on the older firmware you are able to fastboot boot recovery.img
you use phils recovery and you can backup the stock recovery.
it's simpler to just extract the firmware.zip from an OTA and pull the recovery.img from it
your should look at the list of stock recovery's already available here

[Q] Flashing stock ROM via TWRP

Hi guys,
I'm currently unlocked Nexus 7 2013 with CleanROM 5.0.2, TWRP and rooted, Bootloader is 4.04. Is it possible for me to flash a Stock ROM https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images via TWRP?
The problem was it was a .tgz file. TWRP cannot read .tgz. Can I just unzip the .tgz and flash the .zip inside and then flash the bootloader (.img)? or it's better for me to go to old school and flash via ADBfastboot? I've search around but not particular thread stated they have flash Nexus 7 2013 Stock ROM via TWRP. Is it possible to convert Stock ROM into flashable .zip ?
Kindly advice.
Found an answer from another user-friendly forum for I just need a yes and no answer plus an alternative suggestion. TWRP cannot flash Stock ROM. But can be done via Wugfresh Toolkit. Mod can change this thread to [Solved]

How to flash 10c bootloader and modem

I downloaded the stock untouched 10c firmware zip, and the 10c partitions zip and extracted them. I got bin files and I renamed the modem from bin to IMG and bootloader I'm not quite sure which file is it. IIRC its the aboot.bin which I'd rename to IMG.
In twtp I tried flashing just the modem and its asking which partition boot or recovery to flash it. I chose neither cause modem obviously doesn't belong there.
Can I use flashify for the modem IMG and bootloader one? Once I know which one is bootloader?
Or what's the best way? I'm downgrading both since I've heard res-remix 5.4.1 (android 5.1) will let data work with them
Why are you trying to downgrade? 10m had best battery life, 10r was most stable. 20b is both
