Is there a way to mod/tweak stock nexus camera to enable widescreen (16:9) photos?
Thanks in advance.
Camera JB+ has a 3.8 megapixel option that gives you 16:9 ratio photos.
I'm on PA 3.99, Devil Kernel 0.41
The stock JB camera (Gallery apk) works fine. When I switch to video mode, the aspect ratio for 720p or 1080p gets messed up. Everything is either elongated in landscape mode or flattened in portrait mode. However, when I record the video and view it, the recording looks fine. recording in 480p is also fine. Has anyone experienced this?
I used Cyanogenmod for a long time, now I am in Carbon rom (latest KitKat). But problem is all the roms for SL are based on S. As a result, the highest quality of camera is 8mp. Though, SL's stock camera is 12mp.
Is there any way I can capture 12mp sharp images in my SL? Would using alternative camera apps help? I think not. So what to do?

Even Xperia S stock camera is 12 mp. Use the Google camera, it will give You support for 12mp resolution.
I will try and report. I hope it works
I want a way to capture 1440p video with LG G4 front camera.. Maybe with a mod for the cam or something like that
Also I want to use the screen as a flash for video capturing also .. It can be like the main camera app while taking photos.. Or maybe like the SnapChat camera while capturing video with flash by the frontal camera
Thank you
Hello guys,
while waiting for a GCAM to work on Android 9 I was wondering what are the best Camera Settings for the Stock Camera App?
Of course on Android 9.
Thanks
4:3 photos, saruration in high, high quality photo, 60fps fhd video... No much More to do.
Also, Gcam works if you set it to 16:9 instead of 4:3.
