Hello, i have a rooted G3 running Lollipop without Xposed (i don't wanna install it before it's stable).
On kitkat i had more volume levels with G3 tweakbox, it was good, specially for the alarms. Because volume 0 is null and volume 1 is too high on a morning
My question is, is there any way to get more volume levels without Xposed and using the stock clock app ?
Thanks.

Not to my knowledge, but Xposed is fairly stable. I've been running it for well over a month and I've had absolutely no problems!
don't be put off by xposed and tweaksbox's 'alpha' status. I have found it is super stable. yes you need twrp (why wouldn't you want it), yes every time an xposed module is changed you'll get an 'optimising apps' for 10 sec, but it's stable. it's on my daily driver

Hi,
Is it possible to unlink the volume sliders Ring and Notify?
Perhaps someone can write an xposed module for it ?
I'm running at the moment ARHD 8.0 Sense 5.0
Thanx
Listening in. I cant understand why they are linked at all, it's not even helpful...
This has been standard practice in Android as far back as 4.0 ICS.

No fix in sight. However, Cyanogenmod usually includes the option to unlink them. There should be a stable release sometime after the Google version of the HTC One is released on the 26th.

Dang dude...arhd 8....time to upgrade
You will not regret it...just backup all sd content....flash 4.2.2 Rom...format your data...fire it up and restore you're sd content...you'll never look back
I find it strange that none of the s3 4.2 samsung rom has this feature.
this is kindda like standard issue feature for custom roms, wether aosp or samsung.
previous ics, jb 4.1 has this.
do anyone manage to find a 4.2 touch wiz rom with working long press volume key to skip track mod?
I have it enabled on Omega v46 using Nottach.
Installed the Xposed Framework, and used Nottach Xposed.
Nottach Xposed > Sound > Skip Tracks with volume keys.
Works like a charm
EDIT:
It just needs the Xposed framework. So technically, should work on any Rooted Stock rom, if I'm not wrong.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for anything you do with your phone and its consequences.
Create a nandroid backup of your phone using CWM or TWRP before you attempt this.
If you've rooted your phone and it's running stock Jelly Bean, you can install a genius of an invention called Xposed Framework (developed by rovo89), which enables you to modify certain framework related mods on the stock ROM without having to flash a custom ROM. You can read more about this on the official thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401). After installing Xposed Framework (follow the instructions provided on the thread carefully), you will have to install a mod called Xposed Tweakbox (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629653). Activate the Tweakbox in the Xposed Framework app. In the Tweakbox app, under Miscellaneous settings, there is an option to 'Skip tracks with volume keys'. Save your preference and reboot. Enjoy. :good:

Hello,
One of the things that has always bothered me with my hox
is that my notfication led is small and appear like every 3 seconds everytime I get a messege, and its barely visible.
My last phone was nexus s.
With him everytime I got a notfication it buttons would light up.
I wonder if there is any way to do it with an hox aswell?
or just some way that will make my led appear for larger amount of time.
thanks alot!
Example of my setup :
Custom rom : viper x
Custom kernel : lyapota #17
And set in the tweaks app that the soft touch buttons light up with notifications.....
Maybe the xposed provides a module to enable that too, but i have no experience with xposed. You need root either way.
