Hey all,
I've just bought a wired selfie stick for my G3, and don't know how to set the camera button to shoot the photo.
It works well on iPhone 6+ and Samsung S4, and i suppose I need to set volume up key for shooting photos and I don't know how.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have an "Ashutc Wireless Smartphone Photo RF Remote". Its a bluetooth remote that is supposed to function as a camera button for your phone, so you place your phone on a hard to reach place and then take photos without touching the phone.
Its supposedly compatible with android and iphone, and has two buttons, one for each OS. It pairs with my phone well, but clicking the android shutter button just toggles the flash setting, and clicking the iphone button opens the camera settings.
Does anyone know how I can change what the buttons do, so that I can take pictures?
I'm thinking the Tasker app maybe can be useful with this? But I'm far too clueless about how to use the app and its possibilities.
Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm thinking about buying one of these and re-configuring the buttons for music controls. The small size would make it great to mod into steering wheel music controls for an older car.
Hey there,
I was looking for a similar solution, but with any bluetooth headset.
Got it working via Tasker for any camera app, just have a look here:

Hope I could help. ^^
Did anyone get one else of those fob thingies with their M8 that does the same thing?
Having the same problem with my selfie stick... It toggles the flash instead of taking photo....
Appreciate if someone could help!
My wife's Note 3 has no issue with that...
Hi I am looking for a bluetooth camera button that is compatible with the oneplus one. If you have one that works, may you recommend it to me?
Also, if there is one that allows you to zoom in and out would be really great too.
Thank you.
I tried my bluetooth headset using the volume up button and it doesn't trigger the camera shutter. So I'm a bit skeptic if the bluetooth camera shutters work on the the oneplus. That's why I'm asking for advice.
It has to be Bluetooth? Because a headphone button would work
I bought a pressy-like button, but it doesn't work good.. i mean: android always kills its process and you need to wait for android to restart it and then it dows what it should. WAAAAAY better the screen off gesture to enable the camera, trust me.
Hi
Has anyone got a bluetooth shutter working, particularly this sort which claim to work the Galaxy S range?
Link to product on Amazon UK
Many thanks.
Not a Bluetooth per se, but I have an iSnapX remote shutter which works in a similar manner. You download the app on your device and the remote will activate the camera. Even has another button which switches between front and rear cameras. Here's a link, though I found it deeply discounted in a FedEx/Kinko's:

And disregard all the "iStuff." It will work with an Android device as well. It worked on my Note 3 and works on the G4. Hope it helps!
Hello.
I have a problem with my G4 since buying and beginning to use this bluetooth selfie stick. The problem is that I cannot use the stick's zoom buttons with my phone, as they both act as a shutter button for some reason. Why is that happening and how can I resolve that issue so that the zoom buttons will operate as needed?
Thanks.
Selfiestick is also called Deppenzepter (in german)
I have recenlty purchased a few selfie sticks that are rated as being compatible. They all pair successfully with the phone's bluetooth radio. Unfortunatley the remote only functions as a zoom button rather than a shutter button. Am I missing something or are there settings that require adjustment? Alternatively, if there is a tried and tested selfie stick that forum members are aware of then please let me know. I'm in the UK.
Go to your camera settings, shooting methods, then press volume key to - change it to take picture or record video.
