I have purchased the HTC One M9, not carrier branded and unlocked directly from HTC. Is it possible to use WiFi calling on this device through T-Mobile USA? If so, how is that accomplished.
Thanks.
Once a stock ROM from the T-Mobile variant is available (can probably arrange for that to be today) flash it and it'll work.

So this would only be possible with a T-Mobile stock rom? how are the iphone's doing it, and the nexus 6's sold via the play store?

They're probably T-Mobile variants, not straight from the manufacturer.

It will work as long as it's unlocked.
Optus branded units are network unlocked, so no issues. I've heard a few reports where the optus apps don't kick in if it's never activated on the optus network, so you might not even see the worst of the spam on there.
M.
Yes it will work on AT&T. I just picked mine up today from Optus. Fully unlocked out of the box and running on Telstra (850mhz like AT&T) with no Optus bloatware.

Is the International HTC One X (tegra 3) compatible with the US T-Mobile Voice and 3G bands?
Can anyone vouch on this?

Yes on voice and texting. No on 3g. Only device that works is one s and maybe att one x with unlock but I think additional things are needed like att note to get data working

I have just recently bought an HTC One X on Ebay & it appears to be an international HTC One X (Unlocked) , when i boot it up it shows the tmobile boot animation. and i dont like that. i have ATT and i want it to show the "Rethink Possible" Boot animation.
& plus it has German Content on it. and i just want to put the ATT US Stock RUU on it so it could be as new as an HTC One X bought from the ATT Store.

That's a branded international phone. So there is no at&t ruu. The at&t version is dual core. So if I was you I would send it back & go to your at&t store & buy the US version if your wanting all stock at&t stuff

cuz I want the silver version and atnt doesnt have that yet. anyone know when the atnt silver is available?
I saw a video of someone using T-Mobile SIM in the Verizon M8 and it worked fine so I would assume if it's unlocked it would work overseas and with AT&T.

you would be best off waiting for the ATT version or getting the GPE, which would have all the US LTE bands.
Hello looking at purchasing a Tmobile Variant of the HTC 10 . Will it work on all bands with AT&T? Just want to make sure that I wont be losing any performance / signal?
Thanks so much!
Scoob
Why not just buy the unlocked direct from HTC since it's available?
Yes it will... You can also convert it to the unlocked US version (or buy that instead) so you don't have to wait for updates.

Worst case scenario, you have to spend another $25 to s-off using sunshine and convert it to us unlocked variant, which works perfectly oh AT&T.
