Hi, I just recently upgraded to BlissPop ROM, and everything was working, but suddenly when I'm prompted by something for root access, the popup occurs, but I'm unable to hit approve or deny....it just clocks out. I tried looking in PlayStore for an update to SU, but it seems to indicate I have the latest and greatest already. Anyone happen to know a cause and fix for this?

Just uninstall then reinstall the supersu app.
Do you have Lux installed? Cause that was the problem in my case . I've uninstalled it.

Yeah I had to quit using lux. CF.lumen is the one I use without any problems.

Lol I use Twilight and I have to pause it in order to be able to hit install when sideloading an app. Can't recall if it happens with superuser or not.
Root is back because I uninstalled LUX
BINGO!, it was Lux. I did an uninstall and rebooted and had ROOT.........WOW, strange that this would be the answer, but it worked for me at this moment.
Works for me on Lollipop 5.0.2 IronROM v2.1

WTF...First there were a million updates to Super User till the dev broke that about a month ago.
Now I update Busy Box in the market today and my WiFi connection won't work properly...Not having any idea that it could even be Busy Box's fault I started doing a serch and others are having the same problem after the new Busy Box update.
And I just installed the newest ota update so I don't have an old nandroid to restore to.
The WiFi will work sometimes but slow and not seem to respond at all other times...weird.
Can you uninstall updates through Settings > Applications?
Edit: Actually, is busybox even necessary anymore? I just realized I'm on McD's ICS ROM and I don't seem to have busybox installed. I've restored all of my apps through Titanium and it never prompted me to install.

Now I am having problems with TB, don't know if its busy box related. Just tried to integrate maps and now it is gone from my phone.
I updated earlier and have had no issues. I dont see how it would mess anything up as it was just an update to the app (which is basicly just an updater) not the busybox binary which is what actually performs all the actions.

Thats what I was thinking. But all of a sudden have just started having some weird issues. Maybe a coincidence.
And now had my first problem with TB integrating an app, but I think TB uses another version of Busy Box so I dunno.

I believe your right, TB has busybox built into it.
I'm also expieriencing broken WiFi after updating busybox last night. Now running 1.19.3 - woke up today and my phone was super hot (110 F), battery was at 80% when I unplugged it and WiFi is stuck on 'obtaining IP address'
I'm unable to get wifi to work on my home wireless where I have WPA secuirty setup, or on my work's wireless where I have no security.
I've been trying various suggestions posted in other threads and on other forums but nothing has resolved the issue. I'll keep at it when I have free time today and update this thread if I have any success..
EDIT: not sure if it's worth mentioning or not, but Root File explorer seems to be broken as well, opening up to a blank screen that just says 'Root Explorer' on top. Have to hit the home key to exit the program.

Should mention, phone is an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 runningSerendipity 8.2 ROM w/ Entropy's kernel

This is correct, it has it built into the app.
I got it working by setting a static IP. Hardly a fix, but wifi is working now.
I have no idea what the root cause of this is.. or if it's even related to busybox.
Apologies if I've hijacked the thread (having completely different hardware and all) but I believe we share the same issue. I'm planning on flashing to a new ROM soon if I can't get DHCP working again.
EDIT: Root Explorer still not working though, & eventually force closes if not exited with home button.
If you believe the new busybox is the problem just open it up and install the previous version.

I tried that and it didn't resolve the issue. I'm unable to remove it because I don't have the full version..
--Update (day after). Flashed to cm7 last night and everything's good now. I don't have the patience to troubleshoot lately.
Hey guys i just got an update to image version Acer_AV041_A100_RV16RC02_WW_Gen1
and build number is Acer _AV041_A100_1.037.00_ww_gen1
Was curious if anyone else has received this update, and know what has been changed? thanks =]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1682634
my bad, i did a search for the exact image version and didn't see anything.
No biggie, I too am wondering what was updated. I updated fine with a rooted tab, re-rooted with ZN's method fine, but I had to manually update SU binaries, and Ti needed to do a fix. Back to normal now though.
i read in other forum that this update fixxed the damn sound from the speakers, anyone confirm this?

Have just had the same update in France. Not noticed any particular changes as yet. Why doesn't Acer let us know what's changed?

How do I update manually the binary? I have problems running Titanium, tells me to update because the application binaries have problems.

I opened superuser, went ahead and manually updated the binaries even thought it said they were up to date. Went back to Ti and re-ran the binary fix (popup upon starting). Then it told me to reboot and after that it was fine.

It didn't for me. Still have that annoying popping sound from the speakers, most noticeably when I get a notification.

yup i updated last night mi A100 and thatdamn sound still there, i dont see anything new ... maybe this is a small update to prepare for a new one, like the small before the ICS update?
hello all, I appreciate any help you can give me. I also apologize if this has already been answered, as I couldn't find anything that worked for me.
I've recently been logged out of Snapchat, and when I tried to log back in, I was met with an error, which seems to be a pretty common issue with Xposed users.
so since I have the Verizon g4, I cant flash the uninstall zip with a custom recovery. FlashFire allows me to choose the zip and it appears to shut down and then turn back on ~45 seconds later, but the Xposed framework is still installed. I read another thread where someone mentioned that updating to v79 of Xposed and then uninstalling worked, but it doesn't work for me, as v74 is still installed.
I'm lost on options at the moment, besides a factory reset

Hello all, Im having an interesting problem on my Z2 Play. Phone is rooted, stock rom, Xposed, using Magisk v16.0 and v5.6.4.
Every so often Magisk says there is an update (v16.0 which im on), it stops working, and then seems to have uninstalled itself after this update notification. I install this "update" , v16.0(1600) (same one every time) and everything works again. Then in a few weeks Magisk says there is an update again....v16.0(1600), it stops working, uninstalls itself, etc.
Is this normal behavior? Should I try to install version 16.3? Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry if i missed this being covered before. I did search but didnt see anything.
Something uncompatible.
Do not let it auto update

Install a firewall application, and make Magisk offline (block it from the app). No update notification any more

Goodluck.
But I think the problem is Magisk can connects to internet to get info. So, make it offline.
I dont know if this is specifically a Razer issue, that's what I'm here trying to find out
Yesterday my play store automatically updated To 12.9.12
And now every time I go to search it force closes.
Full disclosure I'm rooted with magisk and I have xposed. ROM is stock 8.1 build opm1.171019.011-rzr-180803.6033
As a part of troubleshooting I did actually try to uninstall xposed but the issue still remained.
If I go to settings and disable (uninstall updates) and reenable and Clear data it works...but shortly after it reupdates itself.
There's options to disable apps from Auto updates but not the play store. There's guides to stop it from Auto updating with service disabler but it's missing options in the guides and also doesn't work.
I'm here trying to find out if
A. anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
B. If anyone has found a solution
C. If there's no solution does anyone know how to stop the play store auto updates on 8.1 razer
Any help appreciated
Thanks!:fingers-crossed:
Still no replies just wanted a slight update
I installed a log app so you guys can see whats happens when it crashes... No idea if this helps... Id also like to add I found out the version doesn't matter it starts working when I clear data and stops shortly after so I suppose stopping the update is pointless, its just what i thought originally was the solution but then I relized it crashes on the old version too... So yea the only thing that stops crashing is clear data but its only a temp fix for minutes until crashing returns anyway heres my log
Alright guys... I guess i was wrong it was xposed... I originally didn't fully uninstall it when testing my issue is solved now... Its apperently a known xposed for oreo issue
Anyway problem solved
Sucks because i really really like xposed but oh well what can you do ill just have to be patient and wait for them to work out the beta bugs.

I don't think it will ever get past beta or get another update. The last release was in January and now Pie is here soon and I think that will be the end of Xposed.
