Yes, Calendar app is always Try to connect because in your system not installed GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk, i found it since previous build (cm12 r4). But if i push GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk into system/app, its causing Calendar app fc.

Does anyone else find 3 blank replicas of pics in your gallery? The duplicate thumbnail shows the pic but when opened its blank. When opened in file manager the duplicates doesn't exist. I had this even in cm12.

Great ROM
I have been testing this ROM for more than 14 hours now, installed more than 20 apps including heavy apps like facebook, faced no such lagging or heating like before in previous lollypop rom I have been multitasking continuously everything is flawless .

Is there a free dark theme for cm 12.1? I failed to find one in play store. My current favorite is Euphoria Dark but its not entirely compatible with 12.1 . In dialer app, call with menu gets white background and text. The only thing I can't get used to in Lollipop is its too white theme ... even in settings !

Might because Google always use black/dark background in previous build, so they want break this mainstream theme.. hehe

I don't get it! Why fix something that isn't broken? Just to be different? Specially on smartphones, dark background is proven to be most useful and suitable. Its good for eyes, good for battery and good for display itself. Well we all knew that no matter how sweet lollipop is it always comes with a stick lol

ISO sensitivity not working in camera.
The ISO sensitivity is not (rarely) working in camera (Tested by different apps like camera fv-5, open camera, mi's ported camera etc) some calibration problem maybe?
Also idk if it's just placebo but i think camera quality was better in stock miui.
anyway i hope it's just a placebo, and the iso setting will be patched soon.

Music randomly stops playing?
Just converted from CM to PA and absolutely love, but the only gripe is that music randomly stops playing, and I have to go on to the next song to get it working, and it randomly occurs with no set interval, sometimes less than a song-length apart, sometimes 20 minutes apart, etc.
The only instance this ever happens is on Paranoid Android. I've never had the issue on CM nightlies, and I've tried different combinations of Paranoid Android and GApps, which someone stated might have been the issue, but my last attempt was the latest beta with stock signed GApps rather than PA GApps, and the issue is still there, so I'm thinking it's the kernel. Google's brought me to Samsung solutions, some of which I've tried but nothing. Was wondering if this is an outstanding issue or is it just my device.

I'm fairly certain that this is a known bug on this rom.
Running Beta3 without any issues. It's just that the double tap to wake stops working without any reason.
Have rebooted, wiped cache and dilvik cache but still its not working.
Any ideas!!

Xposed module called pic2sd or something similar
I've been peeking around XDA for probably around two years now if not longer, and have been running PA on my M8 since Beta 2. I have to say, I love this ROM - so simple, yet so sleek. I don't have any known bugs as of yet for B5 :good: and I look forward to continued updates! Thank you again for all your work!

Not on PA at the moment so I can't test, but do you have a theme applied? And are you on the PA kernel? I crossed through a random post somewhere where the user deselected his theme and apparently it's been fixed.

There is one Samsung accessibility feature that I really need: you can invert the screen colors (mainly to get white text on black background) and assign this to a triple click of home button. Any chance this can be ported to CM11 build?

if someone who owns the LTE version can do it then I guess it can be built... if I had more skills and time I would do that but atm I can't... also would need alot of help because I have never built ROM's before

Multi-User Name/Picture Not Showing Up
First of all, thank you very much. This ROM is great. Second, I added a second user and they set up their account, but "new user" still appears on the lock screen and in the notification shade (not their name/picture). This is really minor, but I was just curious if anyone else has experienced this.
I downloaded cm-11-20141102-UNOFFICIAL-chagallwifi.zip a couple of hours ago (before it was deleted / re-uploaded I think) and flashed it on a SM-T800. Most of the functions seem to be working fine: WiFi, Google Play Store, YouTube, Video with VLC (avi, mpg, flv)... Also, when I turn off the tablet and connect the charger, it does NOT go in recovery mode (as reported in #110 and later fixed).
I am still catching up on the thread as I just got my tablet so I might have missed some stuff, but I was under the impression that issues with Camera2 where fixed in the latest build by nvertigo67. However, when I start the camera (v2.0.002), it displays a black screen with only the icons on the right and crashes a couple of seconds later (logcat attached to this post in case it helps).

PS: Not that it really matters, but the file cm-11-20141102-UNOFFICIAL-chagallwifi.zip.md5sum linked in the original post contains the correct checksum but an osolete filename (and with the absolute path on Barracuda77777's computer I guess).

Display
All is looking good except the display seems to be overly saturated and too yellow. It looks like stock Samsung did with the "Movie" mode enabled. Is there somewhere to set the display to what I think Samsung called "Basic"? To me that is what produced natural looking color.
Nearly everything is great here as well, but I noticed a couple video issues today.
1) Video doesn't show up from other participants in a google hangout (just their picture)
2) Dish Anywhere app is just a black screen after logging in
Netflix, HBO Go, Slingplayer, WatchESPN, and YouTube all work great.
Has anyone else run into these issues? Thanks!

I had two questions. First is it possible two had the capacitive mod of screen like on tw. On tw we could choose between classic screen or cinema or super amoled i think ?
My second question is about the battery. Do you think you can improve it, mine is less longer than the stock version, on a 48 hours day i will make a screenshot to show you my battery consumption.
I've also remark that i can't install ebay app, there was a 24 error... i've try to erase play store data but nothing to do same error.....

Installed cm-11-20141104-UNOFFICIAL-nvertigo-chagallwifi (md5: d12610c3...) on my SM-T800 over Barracuda's 20141102 build. No issue to report.
I tested Camera2 and it worked with both cameras, several resolutions, effects (color, scene) and modes (picture, panorama, movie).

Hi Robin M I had the same issue with BT. You just have to re-flash the kernel chagall-Ingo-v2.zip (see post #2) and then clear cache and dalvik. It worked for me on a sm-t805. Hope it will help.
CM to 805
I have the impression the main reason you are not building CM for the galaxy tab 805 is because you don't have one.
I got one, but I need it for professional reasons in weekdays GMT +1 18:00-21:00.
Also, I don't feel confident to start developing for a tablet I need for professional reasons. maybe for you people it's less of a problem
but I loved CM on my galaxy phone (GT-I9000), so I'd like to help you for the T805.
During other moments, eventually, I could give you SSH access to it (it has a 3G data connection, and as long as you don't start downloading p0rn with it, It's fine to me).
it has been rooted, and has busybox installed, so I'd have to install an SSH server and create a tunnel so you can connect.
Would this give you the necessary information you need to port your T800 CM mod to the T805?
Love the ROM and there's a saturation fix out there...
Love the ROM, but the screen is massively oversaturated by default (reds, in particular, literally hurt my eyes). Luckily, there's an apk out there that fixes this - I use "movie mode" which is the only mode that keeps my retinas attached See:

It works on my Tab S 10.5", although it's confusingly labelled as "Advanced Settings" *under* Settings -> Display -> Advanced Settings. It would be great if something like this could be added to a future build (and the default set to movie mode - the only mode not requiring sunglasses ).

I don't think it's specific to this ROM. I was on LiquidSmooth before switching to Fusion and I can't connect my Jawbone Up24 with Bluetooth on either one of them. Unfortunately, I don't know what is causing the problem.
Dark theme and Lollipop
I think that, in general, light themes are more interesting for Lollipop. The whole UI (including notifications) is made to work well with light backgrounds. Overhauling everything to make it look nice with dark tones is no small task.
In short, I prefer the light themes for Lollipop based ROMs.
Colours aside, I'm really digging this ROM.
(Ad blocker and wakelock blocker... yes!!)
Smooth and really good battery time. Gonna keep it as my daily driver. Thank you!
Stock music app doesnt work
Hehehe im pretty new to all this rom stuff but theres no errors for me except using this stock music app.. for some reason it doesn't want to play.. my sound works fine. and idk if anybody had the problem with their Data not working(A "!" next their the data bar) go to settings and under data usage click more then click cellular networks. I'm on tmobile (everyone should be with 851) My network selected was T MOBILE US LTE. Switch it to T MOBILE US you should be able to use your phone without wifi and lte will be enabled automatically (if you have it)

Had to revert to 20150111, much more stable.

tap to wake and sleep function
Really like this rom flashed it last night only issue i have is with the tap to wake and sleep i wish is was more like the stock roms. tapping the status bar to sleep is kinda ...idk and sometimes it doesnt wake if am in a call i have to press the power button.......can this be adjusted in the setting somehow? anyone knows?

The Problem I have with my camera is that I cannot have the photos saving in my SD Card, any idea?

Prior to the last update, I used to be able to have youtube playing in the background... such as when I was on my home screen. The new update does not allow that. Is this a common issue with others? Any fix? or wait for next update..

I suppose so. Flashing instructions should be in the OP of the ROM. Be sure to do a nandroid backup first of course.
Remember, this is for the D851 only.
Even though it hasn't been updated in awhile it's one of my faves and I keep it installed (I use multirom).

I had been using a ext2 partition on my SD card and using link2sd on my Redmi 1s with this ROM. It is giving mount error now. After doing some research on the internet, I am confused, Is ext2 is the right format to be used for this ROM or shall I be using ext3 or ext4?
i don't know if this is a feature in this ROM, but when i locked my phone, after a while my WIFI is disconnected and only connected again after i wake my phone....
I don't know this is a bug or a feature in your ROM and if this indeed a feature, how can i connect my WIFI even when my phone is locked?

I know taht clean install id adviceble and I do it when flashing from another type of ROM (ie MIUI), but I am wondering is it enough just to delete cache and dalvik before flashing updates of same type of ROM like for instance from temasek v16 to v17. Thanks in advance!

Major Issue

The ROM is just great & very good with awesome speed & battery life and great customization options but google play service keeps crashing constantly every 3-5 seconds when using any GPS based apps like Google maps or Uber.
I like this ROM and want to use it as a daily driver but google play service crash messages are annoying

no bugs in the 17.2 update, some features Temasek no problem .. the problem occurs only in google play services at the start of powering the system in this cm12..thank you for update.

The only problems is FC with almost gapps i tried.
Else...was superb! Amazing rom.
FC Google Play occurs only when using "high accuracy" option for location. Pick "device only" and problem should be gone.

Just installed it, and after unlocking the phone a lot of the apps seem to crash. If I try to open them, they crash again. Google Play services seems to be in the lead, as I'll get a message every few seconds telling me it has stopped working.
Also no smart lock. I am not a peasant. My phone should be so afraid of me that it should unlock with a mere look ahaha. Going to do a complete wipe and then try again.

Which gapps did you flash? I've had no force closes with deadmans gapps
Just a couple of things
I'd hate to be annoying as crap about questions like these, when I can just flash it and find out. But:
What kernel are you using? I know AndroidOS is going to be at the top of the list of battery usage because of libhoudini, but I'm just wondering.
Does it also support DT2W? If not, its not a complete deal breaker, but its a wonderful and useful feature being the sleep button being on the top

Not Deadmans, so now that I am, that is no longer a problem. Thank you. The camera however is giving me trouble, but it seems to be a common problem with cm and its variants on zenfone. The only camera app that doesn't crash while using it, even when switching between front and back, is the paid version of high speed camera, but not everyone can be expected to buy an app for a temporary problem.

Just the regular CM kernel. And no I didn't add double tap 2 wake because its not supported natively in AOSP. There's a lot of apps that emulate the feature though

Nope, There is no Official 5.1.1 for ZF2, YET. let's just hope it comes sooner than later!
Hey Dev, what are the actual bugs in this rom? I really want to know as specific as possible. I want to flash it in my only daily driver..
I downloaded this build, and wanted to share my thoughts on it (wasn't sure whether to post on DEV section or here, but I think it's more suitable here):
Pros
- Very minimal, no bloat
- Very fast and crisp
Neutral
- Battery doesn't seem any better or worse than previous
- Brightness seems to be much brighter than before on the lowest settings
Cons
- Quite a bit of crashing on Camera (works on one try, then crashes on next, or it crashes on Settings etc...)
- Candy Crush Soda Saga is unresponsive on launch - lol
I personally prefer it over ZenUI, and if the two cons I observed are resolved somehow, then that would perfect.
Anyhow, much props to OP for creating this!

I installed paranoid android a while ago, but I had a problem with the dual sim (When i rebooted, no sim would be recognized, then when it entered airplane mode, the sim 2 would not be recognized, I had to fisically remove the sim and reinsert ti, really annoying)
Anyone using 2 sims, that can try this in this ROM and give me feedback?

Thanks for the feedback the camera problem is a bug with all zenfone ROMs. Also candy crush works here fine
