A Taste of Android KitKat 4.4 for the HTC One V!​
The HTC One V hasn’t received an update to Android KitKat from both the official source (never will) and from the developers here at the xda forum. While on Jellybean, Why not have a taste of KitKat?

1. Launcher-
Want the Nexus 5 KitKat launcher for the HTC One V? Here you go
Instructions-
1. Download the zip from the link given below.
2. Extract the zip and place the apks in your phone.
3. Install Google Search.apk
4. Install Launcher.apk
5. Press the home button and select the new Launcher (Called Launcher).

Please Note it is not a flashable zip.
2. Theme-
Themes are available from the Google Play Store. Note, you need a ROM with a Theme Chooser installed (CyanogenMod, SHPONGLE etc.)

3. Transparent Status Bar-
Requirements-
1. Xposed Framework- http://goo.gl/nm2dzC
2. GravityBox- http://goo.gl/zJBIes
Instructions-
1. Install Xposed Framework and GravityBox and enable Xposed module.
2. In Gravity Box, click on Transparency Management
3. In this, set transparency values for Statusbar for launcher to 100%
4. Exit Gravity Box

I can confirm that it works on Android 4.2.2 . Why dont you try reinstalling the apks. Also, try updating the apks to the latest version. I will repost the zip with the updated apks and change the links...

No, it isn't. Just an apk of the Google launcher, Google Search and GravityBox.

NOTE: If you want the gradient status bar like KitKat (and not the Lollipop-like one here), set the transparency in GravityBox to 1% (not 0, else it won't work). Then download the Tinted Status Bar module for Xposed and after activating the module, open its app. Find Google Search in the list, and select the activity com.google.android.launcher.GEL - give it the status bar tint 66000000. Tap Apply, and you'll have a KitKat gradient on your launcher status bar.

You can now also download the official google camera app. That means Photo Spheres!

[MOD] KitKat look (Holo SystemUI) [4.1/4.2/4.3]

Compability:
This mod just works on full rooted & deodexed stock firmwares, both Single and Dual SIM versions.
Installation:
If you use Windows you can install it automatically, just execute install.bat
You must have:
- Drivers installed on your PC
- Busybox installed on your XM
- USB debugging enabled​
Otherwise you can install it by manually replacing the files on /system/app/ with the ones on "apks" folder using Root Browser and setting permissions to rw-r--r--
Optional:
- Go to Settings > Display > Theme and set KitKat (only 4.2 right now)
- Install Xposed Framework, download GEM Xperia Xposed and/or GravityBox. Set transparencies to 0%.
- Delete or disable XperiaLockScreen.apk.

How did you make that transparent Status Bar?

I need your help!!
This is an excelent mod bro. I'm making my own like android L systemUI and so far what's left to finish it, is the battery icon and animations. I've used a lot of them but I just can't align it perfectly with the other status bar icons... Normaly it ends up being like 2 pixels under the wifi and signal icon's position. I'll leave a screenshot of my systemUI hoping that you know how to help me. :fingers-crossed:

if u changed system ui which is present in all three files you will loss the recent app button cause there will be no place for it

Thanks, I just flashed all 3 files one at a time, but nothing changed I think that there is room for all 3 buttons at the same time (look at the attached pic) --> The existing two buttons will just go left and free space for the quicksettings one

is s5 launcher only for odexed Rom ?

It's for deodex but 'till I know it coud work in odex roms, you have to delete Seclauncher2.odex before

i think s5 launcher for odexed cause it isn't work for me .. I was odexed but using deodexed launcher
if u look at it's size u will find it small size which mean the rest of it's size in it's .odex file

OK, now it works. I just needed to mount system before flashing. Thanks for the mod, it's awesome :beer:

No, it will not work on Lollipop as it is only intended for Touchwiz Rom 4.2.2.

It will work as long as it is an odexed rom running on 4.2.2.
Note: Before you flash the files, always make a back up of your current rom.

Video Player App Icon didn't change after flashing. Also, the apk inside the zip file isn't the actual app of video player 'cause it says "VideoPlayerList.apk" so you won't see the change even after replacing the stock apk with VideoPlayerList.apk from the zip file.

Android Oreo system theme accents (colors)

Guys here is the system theme accents for oreo, as defult one is teal so here are some.different color varints. install it and change it in setting> display> device theme
Here are some shots.
INSTALLATION : install as normal apk after extracting zip /
(Edit) ( I also found some dark accents you can install them as normal apks too )

Just extract the zip and install any theme as normal apk. And restart the phone.
You'll find it under display settings > advanced > theme

While trying to open the APK it shows as error after extracting .. How to solve it

These are just small overlays, there wont be any issue as it is a system feature but not enable by default.

I guess so, u can give it a try to clean stock oreo equipped phones

Is it working on non rooted device?

Sir about the black theme... It's a 'substratum' theme(Sai's Oreo Theme) on the play store so I think it can cause some legal issues with Andromeda... For your sake, please review your files.
And regarding sources, where are you getting these APKs? I'd love to explore

Does this app can also change the Settings.apk icon color to blue?

Nice one though only work on setting menu only, wish there were system UI as well (despite we can ge it from Andromeda+Substratum)
