VERSION 2.0 NOW AVAILABLE
Hello everyone!
I decided to make an application on windows, based on a script to do root in some lg devices. The application has the root cause of functions and also enter adb shell. The root method is done by a script, but due to the GUI created by me, the process becomes simpler.

Did you modify the script in any way, or just create a GUI to accompany the script?
The script is almost equal to the original, just brought a graphical interface, clicking on root it runs the script, just wait a few minutes and the root is done
:good:
Nice. Please be encouraged to make another useful tools. I like to see progress, makes me more motivated seeing people are contributing rather than waiting. Good job
So this basically runs off the avicoo script, right?
It worked on d802. Thanks body

Well... I could get past the first stage by using a Windows XP virtual machine... Now I can't get the phone into download mode by using the Volume up tip... is there another way?
@ edit
I solved it! I had to reinstall the LG United Mobile Drivers! Thanks!

Thank you very much sir for this

Thanks again show-p.
Extremely appreciated mate

Nice job, works as advertised
Would you be able to add the "fastboot erase cache" command after you flash the boot img? I usually have problems booting into recovery if I don't do this.

done for the next version which will be around the corner soon (tm).
Pyramid?
Tried to use it with my OneX with Viper Rom.
Apparently the installer detected the phone as 'pyramid' instead of 'endeavoru'.
Any idea how to fix this?
And thanks for coming up with this!

That would be quite impossible, except your device is a pyramid, you have a pyramid connected, or your build.prop says pyramid.
PS: the screenshot does not work here.
NICE JOB !!!!
I think it is because I have pyramid in build.prop.
I never once owned any pyramid before.

boot your phone into fastboot and start the program, it will then read out the devicename from fastboot directly (which can't be altered).
It should then say endeavoru and go on with it's business
PS: Screenshot works now
Please tell the ViperX guys to fix their build.prop

I think it is because of the Gameloft compability on Venom Tweaks is activated
the problem is gameloft compatibility turn on,the initial build.prop after installation is correctly,in case you have turn on this tweaks turn it of and build.prop return to original, sorry for my bad english
Another German's piece of art, congratulations show-p1984!
perfect tool, comfortable, and most importantly it works perfectly, in fact, as previously mentioned, you may be wanting to add fastboot erase cache, and run. Now we just wait for his new version of the kernel , and so everything perfect. A greeting and thanks
Realy, realy good!! Thanks!
Great Job. Back with Bang
EDIT: not working for me on slimics 4.2 trying to flash faux beta 4 b3. It reboots from boot;oader and stays still. Also nothing happens while run in booted state except extracting zip

Same as above
instead of rebooting into download mode tablet starts in fastboot .. and root unsuccessful. I have Gpad 8.3 VK810 running Kitkat VK81024A
I tried to do the Backup, but it does not work (check root for example works fine). I also tried running the app as administrator, but that does not help either. The folder I choose for the backup just stays empty.
Any advice, what I could try to get it to work? (usb debugging is enabled)

I thought fastboot was the stock boot loader. Now i see that its a seperate tool. So mine just boots normally the first time and then just sits there without entering download mode. I've tried the stand alone "Reboot Download Mode" option as well and it does nothing. on the vk810

Thanks for this interesting app. I will give it a try at next week. I've got my LG G Pad 7 with Lollipop and would like to root it. I still missing more internal memory becuase the Android system uses mostly of this memory and I can not install many apps because of that. Do you know any app or method to use the SD as internal memory?
Thanks for that amazing job!!

To use external SD for apps and data tte best (and only, IMO) tool/app is Link2SD.. I used it long time ago when devices had Froyo installed and only 280 MB of space for /data partition!! WOW!
It was completely free at that time, but now the free version is not so useful for us as the Pro one, which costs € 2. But it worths!!
P.S.: Link2SD requires a bit of work and knowledge before being able to properly use it; the web is full of guides on how to format external SD and how to use the app itself!
Thanks so much. I will keep it in mind and try it as soon as possible
thanks you can add sprint\lg lk430 to list of supported devices
I got my V700 with 10.1 inch a few hours ago from amazon. First look: 4.4.2 was installed. Ok I wanted root. I installed towelroot, everything worked fine.
After that I installed Lollipop 5.02, but of cource root was gone...towelroot again...no effect.
Then I found this DP-Tool(s). First I was irritated, cause my "360 internet security" alarmed me...virus alert. However, I trusted DP-Tools, put on the white list.
After installing LG_G_Pad Driver (lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-V700) the Pad was recognized on my win 8.1 x64...of course I activated USB debugging before.
However...rooting this 10.1 LG_PAD was pretty simple after that. Root Checker tells me also that I got root now. Very cool tool. Thanx at all. Hope i did not infect my Windows or the Tablet...
but I guess this was a standard alert which appears often when using tools like this one. I will de-install DP-Tools anyways...feel more comfortable without it. Device is rooted...mission accomplished.
After fiddling with this for a few minutes, I'm guessing I need to have ADB installed for it to work? I love the layout., and will really be happy if this works.
So, follow up question. I finally got the root process to start, but now its sitting in the firmware update screen saying not to unplug etc. How long is this going to take? I'm sitting at 30 minutes right now. and 0%
Meh
It doesn't seem to be working for me. It acts as though the phone isn't connected to the laptop. Using LG Optimus Exceed 2

Guys, do NOT use this software without few things first:
-we have not seen source code of this, noone knows what it actually does to your watch
-this software is NOT made for huawei watch, this guy just made few buttons call some adb functions, however they are not customized for hwatch. Any of that can easily hardbrick your watch as far as we know.
Also this mass advertisement is really stupid. Post reported.

You can see the source code here, and the unlock command, as well as the rooting command, is the same for all smartwatches. The TWRP comes from this post, so it's completely safe. Please confirm things before you post.

MuF123 said:
I should confirm things before posting? YOU should confirm that while I have hwatch connected I can press any combination of buttons in your ADB wrapper and nothing bad happens. What about supersu? The option is there, have you tested it with hwatch? Please confirm things before you post.

Nothing bad can happen to a device that's not within the user's control. There are many checks in place to prevent errors, and the TWRP and SuperSU are specific to the HWatch. While I haven't personally tested them, I've confirmed that many users on the forum used that method to root their HWatch, so I implemented that into the toolkit. Go ahead and click any combination of buttons you want.

Exactly THIS is what such a bulkly distributed tools gets to.
Just dont use this crap app noone really tested before publishing. Go for skin's kernel or anything other that has been proven to work, not just published to get likes/thanks.

Glad it worked out for ya. Just received my beautiful Huawei watch and will be checking out unlocking it...
i agree with most people.. would love it if we could have a "return to stock" option that would relock-bootloader in process and remove twrp and supersu just make it go back to complete stock heh just dreaming i think

still working same as 2.6 nothing is wrong only wishing for the back to stock option would be cool and give it like a click twice or 3 times warnings about "you sure you wanna do it? there's no goin back!"
