Hi All.
I've recently switched to the M9 and currently running Mikes Android Revolution HD 4.1.
I use my phone a lot for work but need to get around the corporate "exchange security" requirements to send/receive email using the HTC Mail client. I've been searching for a compatible Android 5.02 Sense 7 modified apk that will work with the M9 but haven't had any joy in finding one so far.
Has anyone else found one that works or have a solution? Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

So I don't know the exact apk but LeeDroid's ROM contains a bypass to exchange security requirements built into the ROM which works perfectly for me
I use the exchange hack my self & have it running perfectly, Junp on board and give it a whirl
@kash20 and @LeeDroid thanks for the heads-up. Have just installed LeeDroid's Rom and the exchange hack works like a Dream - Thanks again....

Hi Lee
I'm using another rom at the moment and have been looking for the exchange apk for the M9. Can you refer to where this can be downloaded? I've done some ddg and xda searches to no avail.
I'm digging through your rom zip file and found a couple Mail.apk files, but not sure if I can use one of those to apply the patch.
Thanks

Attached is a working zip file that can be flashed in recovery. This will properly remove exchange security on Sense 7 based ROMs that do not otherwise have it removed.
ps I love your ROMs Lee, but in a time where xposed isn't quite ready we need to make sure everyone has access to this!

You can take it from the tools\addons\exchange\priv-app\mail folder in the ICE rom. I have used it and can vouch that it works. Make sure you don't update the Mail app from the Play Store after that.

Just update to the Froyo beta, can any developers get an email.apk that will remove the PIN/Password requirement for exchange accounts? I tried the one for the Evo and Nexus One, didn't work.

I agree, this would be awesome (and if it's already working, I couldn't find it).

Works great. Thanks for the file. The GTab version didn't ever want to work for more than a day and I absolutely hate entering a code every time I turn on my phone. Thanks again.

what exactly does this do! i dont understand the use for this?
First off, Hello everyone.
I have a rooted Evo with the sense Rom I believe. My kernel is 2 .6. 32.17 -gee557fd . My android version is 2.2.
Now my problem. I cannot get Wireless Tethering to install on my phone. When I download it, I get the message that it was not installed. When I try using HTC sync I get the same message. I have no idea of what to do.
I tried researching to see if someone had a similiar issue but to no avail. I tried using the pre-9 verison. Same problem. I wondered if the problem was the kernel. Tried looking for a kernel that I can use, but I really didnt trust using google to lead the way. I really didnt want to mess up my phone.
Can someone help me please. Thank you.
Where are you downloading it from?
Applanet, The Market place, websites that had the apk files for both the pre-9 and current version.
What specific Rom are you using, ill try ripping the version that came with the fresh Rom seems to work for me.

I apologize if it's not. :silly:

its the widget not the S planner D:
Any luck on finding the S-Planner App? I am on the LiquidSmooth ROM, and the only thing i miss about the stock ROM was the S-Planner. Can someone post the Apk file? Thanks!
This is the calender from LH9.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/62284246/Calendar_4.0.4-I747UCALH9.apk
From my understanding of samsung and their wisdom, the S-apps are very intertwined with the Touchwiz interfaces. Roms like AOKP wont run them. If I am wrong, please correct me.
the Stock Email and Calender apps on my SG3 are the ONLY reasons I have not gone to a custom rom on this one. they are much nicer and more robust than the AOSP versions. If I had teh time to learn more about porting them, I would do so myself.
I also have a galaxy tablet. the stock ICS on it is mediocre at best. I tried going to AOKP, but again, the Calender and Email apps are far superior on the stock roms.
It's being a long time, but just in case you guys still looking for it here they are.
Just copy and paste it to /system/app and change permissions.
YOU NEED ROOT PERMISSIONS
Hallo,
I use the original Samsung ROM, but want the original calendar widget in inverted style. If I install the inverted google calendar I loose the S Planner functions for setting new calendar entries etc. Has anybody the original calendar widget that can run with the S-Planner?
Best regards,
Marc

EDIT: I think I found the answer: rw-r--r--
nice love it thanks
downloaded all files provided in this thread and s-planer still crashing on my s3 i9300..
Im rooted and on custom rom from PARDUS ( v13beta4) rom is samsung based so everything should work.
got error touchwiz stopped responding ... when putting widget on screen.. sometimes its fine for few seconds.
I had to flash a custom rom on my fathers s3 because he need a higher version for bank app...
Now he miss his ~calendar app (S-Planner) for his phone, any chance to get a ported version ? Running some slim rom 4.4 on his phone.
S-Planner is a Samsung app and will require a stock Samsung kernel and framework to work. As far as I know, it will not work on a custom ROM that is not based on a stock ROM.

Are you one of the many users whose Android 4.2.2 update broke compatibility with Google Keyboard? Well here's the fix!
Ok, basically a very skilled man named Paul O'Brien has started a project called MoDaCo.SWITCH (link: http://modaco.com/topic/363797-modacoswitch-beta-8-support-topic/ ). In order for the Google Keyboard to work on all HTC One devices, he had to patch out the CID check. This is also the fix required for people with the Google Keyboard not showing in settings issue. What I have done is extracted the keyboard from his ROM so you don't have to download the full package (1.4GB!). You will need to deploy the APK via ADB or install it using a file manager (Unknown sources need to be enabled).
Link to modded Google Keyboard: http://db.tt/7DGi2rV3
Remember to thank Paul O'Brien for his amazing talent! I merely extracted the keyboard.

Hey guys this is my very first dev thread.
This is a thread on how to get your Galaxy Gear working with any phone on the market running Android 4.2.2 and up! (haven't tested below that)
You will need all the files in order to make this thing happen.
DOWNLOAD
There should be 23 files
Everything works except for:
1. SAMusicProvider_signed.apk (HTC One does not have the stock Samsung Player)
2. Notifications
No others.
You need to put 'GearStub.apk' into the directory '/system/app' and set the permission of the .apk to 0644.
Install like normal apk if not rooted but preferred to be installed as system app. Credits to @home for pointing this out.
Reboot and install all the other 22 apks manually (SORRY!)
After you have finished set up your Gear normally.
On the first opening of the Gear Manager a popup should come up saying that 0/20 is being installed and you can just ignore that. Kill the app and reopen if the problem is reoccurring (PM me if you still have a problem).
There should be 18/20 which will install 2 of which won't work because it requires a Samsung app.
If there is no problem after 10 seconds or so then select manual connection and that should be pretty straight forward from then on.
This has been extracted from a Galaxy S4.
Ver 1.5.120903
If you have any Problems don't hesitate to ask
Tested on the HTC One, Nexus 5.
Tested on Stock Rom, CM Rom, PA Rom, AOSP Rom
OP. Will be continuously updated as I have not tested this extensively. Please report bugs.
If you want to uninstall just remove the 'GearStub.apk' from that directory and unistall the other 22 normally and reboot...

Can you get this on a fully stock HTC One>>>>

I don't think so but you could try you need root access to add system apps.

I am on Viper and I have it working pretty well, still trying to work out a few small issues. I flashed the null rom and followed the guide for installing the gear apps on my phone. Camera is working great, I just need some better notifications as I haven't got the gear notifications working yet.
Working out some kinks rn for the notifications I will update it soon

When I started I was on 5.5, but I have since updated to 5.7 and it didn't cause any issue with my Gear. The only thing I have noticed since I installed all the gear software on my HTC is that I occasionally get some issues with my application drawer icons or blinkfeed headlines not being drawn correctly but it's a very minor issue.

setting 0644 permission to file on HTC ONE M7
Hello, I'm trying to follow your instruction, but I cannot find a way to set 0644 permission to GearManagerStub.apk
I'm using Total Commander to change properties and RW but the file permissions remains at 0660.
How could I easily set the permission to 0644 ?
Thanks
