Sound issue with BSPlayer via bluetooth - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

A few days ago I bought a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact and installed, amongst others, BSPlayer on it and upgraded it to the Pro version. I have a strange issue with it however when I play music files from it and listen with my bluetooth headphone. On every track change the volume returns to 0 (zero) and I have to adjust it again. This does not happen when I connect the headphone with a cable to the phone.
It must have something to do with BSPlayer, because with MS Player Pro and Poweramp everything is fine. I would like to use BSPlayer however as well because I can stream from my wireless Voyager Air with it.
I tried to get an answer from BSPayer but although I have the Pro version, they don't reply.
Has anyone an idea what is going wrong ?
Thanks in advance.

music playback issues

I love the phone (got it launch day) puts my Mytouch 3G to shame. I love everything about this phone....... well except for one thing.
I am having a hell of a time with audio playback. 60% of the time i try to play back music on stock music player it tells me that the audio format is not supported on this device. using Winamp wasnt much of a help as it will just cycle through songs and freeze up.
resetting the phone helps sometimes but not everytime.
I also tried removing all the music from my phone and re-copying all the files. still an issue.
I've also noticed it acts up a lot more via bluetooth (i have a pair of rocketdog behind the ear headphones)
I'm stumped...
Any ideas? Anyone else getting this issue?
codec, song encoding comes to mind
also try with different amount of songs
i know on the old SGS if you had more than few hundreds of mp3 or mix format songs in it, it can drive it crazy
so try a couple hundreds, then work your way up, until you find the amount of files it can read before it becomes too much.
all this can be fixed once rooted, and installing better media players
winamp for android sucks by the way
you should try the ICE cream leaked media player from stock android, it's better
Curious why not just stream the music from ur pc?? google music is practically flawless
Seen a user in another thread had to format their card in this phone, then add music. Try that.

I tried this last night. didn't help much. I'm 99.98% sure it has something to do with my bluetooth headphones. Going to buy a new pair and see if it makes a difference...

If you get the sony ericsson mw600, you'll be amazed at their features. I love them and use them all the time and the battery lasts longer than the specs say. I can get 14hrs out of them.
Just picked up a new set of headphones.... does the exact same thing.... odd.... wondering if its just my phone or if this is a glitch...haven't seen anyone else report this.
Pandora and google music work great with my motorola s10-hd headset...

I'll be getting my phone tues. I use sony dr-bt22 bluetooth headphones.... will report back.
I have this problem when steaming music over A2DP through stock Music app or Google Music. All 320kbps fixed rate MP3s. I've tried via my integrated car audio, computer, headphones... all same result when playing local media. Streaming via Rdio works completely fine. Playing local media without A2DP also works fine... Logcat reports some kind of permission related problem...
Weird, I play FLAC or 320s all day long on this thing and no "Format Unsupported" has come up on regular headset/aux cable or BT. I have however, had a problem with the music stopping when I get a notification..the time continues to move but no sound.
Just an update, my stereo BT headphones work fine

Keep playing music while disconnecting headphones?

Is it possible?
I'm on Deb using Android N but i'm willing to go back a version if the solution uses Xposed
Right now I have a really irritating problem with the headphone jack, every now and then it will bug out and I have to get my tablet from my pocket just to hit play.
The Bluetooth headphone will take a few months to arrive :/
Which music player ? Poweramp has a setting for behaviour of headset ....
Sorry. my bad. Indeed, just found this option on BeyoundPod. Never looked before.
It my music player, spotify, that dont have this option. I thought this was in the entire OS. :/

Note 10+ Bluetooth audio issue when try to play .M4A files

Hi I'm experiencing this strange problem M4A files play fine in some of my Bluetooth devices but not on some.
M4A files play properly on:
built in speakers of the phone
Sony headphones (MDR-ZX770)
Yamaha sound bar
Same files results random noises through:
AKG usb c ear buds came with the phone(firmware got updated the first time I plugged them to the phone)
ROIDMI 2S car bluetooth adapter
Bluedio TE earbuds
I've came across various similar issues on forums but couldn't find a solution. I would appreciate if anyone else has experienced this and came across a solution or having the same issue without a solution make samsung aware of this.
(Phone in question is Note 10+ Exynos version with September update.)

Initially tried using Samsung music, but then Google play music, and Sony music center (this says in supported codec straight away and doesn't even play through phone speakers)
I had the same issue with Samsung music, so switched to Poweramp and it works just fine, you might want to give it a try.

Works with Poweramp thank you so much!
Still I wonder why this is happening with Samsung music, I'd still prefer to use it because I'm so used to it for a long time. Looks like time to move on

Car Bluetooth Stutter

I can't get music to play properly with car player. It stutters 100 percent of the time, calls work. Music works fine on headphones and Bluetooth speakers.
I did network reset, cleared cache. Checked and unchecked media, contacts, etc in Bluetooth settings.
Used other phones to see if car player has issues. It works with other phones.
This seems like a OnePlus issue, even other models in past have been marred by this.
Is there any solution to this.
I'm on latest 10.0.6 oxygen. Music never worked with car player.
What car system and is the car system up to date?

It's an aftermarket media player, there are no firmware updates from manufacturer.
If you search you'll find this issue in a lot of OnePlus phones. I tried all suggested answers, nothing worked.
Could it be Bluetooth version that's causing this... My other Bluetooth devices are bt 4.0 and 5.0... Car player is bt 3.0... Maybe using an external BT adapter is the only way out.

Hi, I've had the same problems myself, but I might found a solution... And it is downloaded music on my phone storage!!!
Yes if I was streaming from YT music as I have premium subscription, most likely I could not listen to anything because I think interferes with the Bluetooth streaming. So I've downloaded a few songs and tried to listen from library on the same app and worked as a charm!
What can I say.. try it and see if works for yourself!
Best of luck!
I stream music all day everyday in my car. I use the play music app to listen to my library. I don't have any issues with stutters. I am also using an after market unit. The other day I did have a problem with my device not playing music when it paired. I got so frustrated since my Bluetooth was pairing with my headphones that I got the manual for the aftermarket unit and found the instructions to reset it. Resetting the unit fixed my problem. Have you tried completely resetting your aftermarket unit?
Sounds like your media player in the car is the issue. With my pioneer head unit I did have to reset it before it would pair and work correctly.
I'll try resetting the HU... Meanwhile I found an aux BT adapter lying around and it's working fine, that'll be my backup option till issue is sorted out.

I've been playing downloaded music already but it Stutters.... Though this thought did cross my mind that streamed music is copyrighted and encryption/codec could causes the issue... But then again it works with headphones...
I'll try some music player app and play from internal storage... Keep you posted
Resetting HU didn't work... Neither did playing downloaded music from internal storage.
I think OnePlus while implementation didn't fully address compatibility issues ... Most car HU are older BT version.

Question A poblem with my bluetooth headset connection

Hello, Xiaomi pad 5 owners,
I have a problem when I connect my bluetooth headset to my pad 5, the problem is the sound gets interrupted (I don't know if I have used the right expression) and that's annoying me!
If you didn't get it, it's like:
She works at nights, by th'e'e'e'e water
She’s gone astray, so far away
From her fat'a'aher’s daughter
I hope anyone help me!
Note: The headset is working very well on my Huawei Nova 5t without any problems.
Try with another music player.

Unfortunately, it's happening with any app not just music playes.
When I tried Apple airpods (Original) there wasn't any problem, but unfortunately it's not mine.
reinstall miui or check if you install anything on the last few days.
