Not for the vzw m9. Big difference is the versions they can do already can use htc dev to bootloader unlock and root. Vzw is another can of worms because we need a root exploit before anything can happen.

Just like dottat listed the verizon version is a totally different animal and s-off will take longer than the gsm versions.
So our best quickest way to s-off is a java card.

I'm positive we can s-off the verizon m9 right now, however not in a simple, easy smooth way like the others yet, i could be wrong, maybe it will be easy on verizon, they are not for sale yet so i dont know for sure.

Good to know, hopefully the verizon m9's start shipping out on monday. I did the pre order thing @ 3:38 am on 4-2-15 then I received the pre order confirmation number email 11 minutes later, so I"am hoping mine ships out monday.
I will just keep using my s-off verizon m8 rockin sense 7 via the Andy Bones Fluent 7.4 rom until then.

Did you order at a store and they tell you that ?
Asking because I pre ordered on line.
The net listed the pre orders ship before the 10th because they list you might receive your pre order m9 before the stores have theirs. Unless that was only for the carriers other than verizon, but if others can ship prior to the 10th then verizon should be able to also.
I"am betting that they ship before the 10th because that is what is on the net.

My receipt does not say anything about when it ships or the ship method.
Mine says will ship by 4-10-15 by that date and not that it will on that date.

OK, I may have read it wrong. This is the email I got minus my full name and order #. It states that it will ship within 2 days of the "ship by date" which I assumed was 4/10 as that is when it hits the stores.

I did order a little late their time (4:30pm I think) so I wouldn't expect shipment today but I'd hope it goes out tomorrow.
Cool--I was thinking of ordering from Expansys USA or Negri potentially since they are US based, but would consider importing if the cost wasn't a lot more and I could have it sooner.
It might be a hassle if there was anything wrong with the phone, but it's not more expensive. Even with shipping my total came to $681 shipped and that was WITH the HTC sleeve (not in stock.)
I think it will also be faster as long as they get it shipped in a reasonable time frame. It says delivery in 2-4 days after it's shipped, which is about what it would be from a US seller unless you pay for expedited shipping.
I e-mailed Negri when they expected to receive theirs and never got a reply, so that's why I went to Handtec.
Negri tweeted out this morning they are expecting to ship out on Friday. So delivery next week.
I am also thinking of going with Handtec, they are cheaper and will most likely get you the phone this week.
I have a preorder with Negri, placed last week. They reckon both colors should be arriving around Friday, but black might be just slightly sooner to arrive. No info on whether they have enough stock in the first shipment to cover all current preorders.

I'm in Australia right now and the retail stores are selling "Optus software unlocked" versions for $658 AUD. Would you buy an Optus unlocked phone if your intention is to use it in the U.S.? Is it possible to get future software updates if they will most likely be pushed out by Optus? I'll be in the States probably on T-Mobile. Thanks.

Absolutely. You will get updates directly from HTC anywhere long as you have access to the Internet which I'm sure you do

I have gotten an email answering my question about possible dates for shipment, and the response was something to the effect: "We don't any phones in stock and are not sure when we will get them". I kinda wish i found Handtec selling them sooner, I payed about $675 for only the phone ><.

I definitely agree for unbranded factory unlocked phones. But is this also true of carrier branded phones with bloatware? Don't updates then go through the carrier? And if so, can you still get the updates if you don't use the carrior's simcard?

Negri have posted several times on Twitter that they're expecting phones to start shipping out to customers from Friday.

Negri's website now shows the White T-Mobile Note 3 as 'In Stock' with 'Add to Cart' (instead of 'Preorder'). The Black version, however, still says 'Preorder'. Forget all of the above. I have cancelled my order with Negri Electronics. After three weeks of waiting for them to ship, Negri posted on their blog and basically confirmed what many of us have suspected for the last couple of days. Negri is buying their devices from shady suppliers who are selling them used devices. This has resulted in at least of couple of people who thought they were getting NEW Note 3s actually having their devices BLACKLISTED on T-Mobile. In addition, at least one person has received a device rooted with Knox tripped (and thus a voided warranty).
I was willing to put up with the three week delay (though now I feel like an idiot for doing so), but these new issues are unacceptable in my opinion.

I don't know about a bootloader. I think the unlocked refers to the SIM unlock so that it can be used with any GSM carrier.

I asked in Chat about the Unlocked and they said I had to select a wireless plan. But I'm thinking they were just trying to push the sales up. I even sent them the link to the phone. But that was untrue.

I thought wifi calling was an Android feature that works with T-Mobile and not a T-Mobile feature as per se.

It took them 15min after 1pm EDT to update it so I was freaking out.
I opted for 2 day shipping for $9, as I didn't feel I needed it /that/ quickly

I had the same error after trying to help my friend. It sometimes puts one in cart, but when you check out, it says out of stock. He called in after I completed my order and the lady said the site was down. Not sure what's going on. Also, if you go to the starting page, it's not even choose-able anymore.

HTC Dev edition not shipping until April 3rd. Confirmed via HTC sales/customer service rep i just talked to on phone. I cancelled. (As i will be on another coast after April 3rd). The only one shipping today are the carrier phones...
Not only does my order status for my M8 Developer Edition say it's picking, with a delivery estimate of 3/27, but the representative I spoke to on the phone said it'd be shipped out by Monday (31st) at the latest. So frankly, I'm not sure how seriously we should take these people

HTC really needs to get their stuff together. The phone might be great but there customer service is awful at this point.

Just ordered it on HTC.com. First thing I did after I order was to call their customer support. I mentioned that it says its free express shipping online so the lady over the phone upgraded my shipping from standard to overnight for free! Remember, it is free express shipping if you ordered it on HTC.com.
Also, the Developer edition phone comes out on 3/28/14 so we will have to wait till next week to get it.
A lot of people orders are getting canceled. The play store is resulting in the same too.

I ordered one from http://www.amazon.com/HTC-One-M8-Un...TF8&qid=1395792149&sr=8-5&keywords=htc+one+m8 on Amazon with prime overnight for $4, and although there's no in stock window it will probably be coming out about the same time as the one from HTC. Heck, Amazon ships super fast so it may come sooner XD

Practically the moment you place the order it shows as 'preparing to ship'. Its an excuse so you can't cancel your order. It doesn't mean its coming any sooner. if you look further down on your Order Status Detail, you should see a Shipping Date of 10/14 to 10/16.

Mine doesn't say anything about the SIM card. It just says:

When my mom pre-ordered her iPhone 6, it didn't say anything about a sim either, but came with the proper nano sim card.

Mine says the SIM card is processing, and the phone will ship between 10/14 and 10/16. Preordered on September 19th. Next week can't get here soon enough

Most likely, all the note 4s are being removed from their nice Samsung (environment friendly) packaging, and put in crappy, way to small AT&T boxes without the new earbuds, for branding purposes. Plus, if we wanted a set of new samsung earbuds, that was originally packaged with the Note 4, we would need to buy them.
This is the part where I start to get REALLY antsy. And, next week when the first person posts that they got a notice about shipping is when I'll start to freak out and check my email, order status, and credit card activity about every 5 minutes!

Has anyone ordered their phone FROM B&H Photo in the US? If so, have they given you a date for when they'll ship the device?
They seem to be the only vendor in the US with the Blue Coral model available for sale and also comes with warranty! Has anyone even had a chance to grab the Blue Coral 930F (International model) from ANY vendor yet? ?

Lol Im waiting to order from them. Need the warranty. I'm hesitant due to bootloop issues for now and would Iike to know where they import the phones from.

I purchased mine form B&H back on August 14h I think (ordered anyway) and am patiently (or impatiently) waiting for B&H to ship - pricing was fair and reasonable,,,anyway, fingers crossed that shipping occurs sometime soon...)

I'm returning my Snapdragon version and getting one from here as well. They said the ETA they have for new recall safe units is around Sept 18th.

I reached out to them as well they said late September to around Oct 5 and they should start shipping version 2 as I specifically asked would we get the new fixed stock of Note 7's

Thanks for the responses guys. I noticed, the listings are completely removed from the site... Anyone know what's going on? Noticed the same on Ebay for the International models... Is the recall the cause for it? If so, I thought they were shipping the version 2.0 starting 9/18? Thanks!

I've contacted B&H through via their chat and was told yes they removed it because of the recall. The also keep telling me they don't know when new stock will be available so that's why it was removed. At first they were saying by Oct 5 but not even that now.

Yeah they said they won't post the page until they hear back from their buyers. I'm really hoping it's soon.

I ordered mine on 8/25 (silver). I chatted via "live chat" last week and they had no answers regarding the estimated arrival date. They said they're contacting the manufacturer daily for updated shipment dates and that they will notify me when new information becomes available. Given the mess with Samsung, it's hard to fault B&H. I doubt they know much more than we do. The reason I went through B&H was A) for an unlocked version and B) to get the warranty and protection via square trade (I know I'll bust that beautiful screen and rear glass at least once). I don't regret ordering, I'm not going to cancel, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's November before I have the phone in my hands.
