Hello,
I have a question : is there a Gingerbread ROM for the GT-N7100? Or any way that it supports it? Or any way I can install it / adapt it?
I'm asking because I remember the stupid-crazy battery life I got from my GT-N7000 running Android 2.3 (5-7days of normal use)
I've searched everywhere and it seems that no-one was as crazy as me because I've found nothing on XDA or Google.

hello,
i recently bought my sasung galaxy s3 from t-mobile (in Holland).
after like 2 weeks i decided to root it and try and install the android 2.3 rom on it.
becouse that did not quite work out, i flashed the stock kernel on it again, and wanted eveything back to stock. but now when i open some apps they wont allow me anything becouse i do not have the original firmware etc on it....
I also cannot do software update becouse it says im running something custom,
if someone could telle me what to do to really bring it back to stock evething that would be great!
if you need more info thenn ask
It sounds like you have the I9300 or I9305. Look under the battery to be sure. If so, you need to go to the forum for that device, as nothing here will help you and most of us know little about your model.

Sorry but I'm reporting this crap because you're clearly just been completely and utterly lazy.
1. Used completely idiotic generic title.
2. Clearly not spent 5 minutes searching/reading.
Also watch this XDA official video..
No you can´t do it, couse the botloader and the knox app has been preventing of the downgrade, may in the future some one can give us a solution bot today we don´t have.
Hi,
I got a Galaxy S3 rooted few days ago and as I want to keep my original stock ROM (for work), I looked in forum to find if there were a way to boot customs roms externally but did not find solution. Do you know if there is already a way to do that ?
If not, is there people interested to get this feature ?
Thank's,
Philippe,

Thank's polobunny for answer.
I will try to fix that.
Philippe,
Sorry, guys, I know this is probably a dumb question, but I simply can't find this info anywhere!
I will sell my Galaxy Note 2 tomorrow morning and it was inside the box for a long time, still with 4.1.2, and I already downloaded 4.4.2 official ROM from Brazil, but I really don't know if I need to first upgrade to 4.3 before.
Can someone answer me?
Thanks so much in advance!

Why don't you just try the Update option in the Settings/About?

Oh, God! What a shame! I was so dumb!
This just solved my doubt and now my Note II is updated to 4.4.2!
