lockscreen like s4

after all this moddification i just want to know can anyone port the flaire effect lockscreen like seen in s4 to our sgs , as it has already been done to sgs plus and galaxy y !!!!!!

Where do you see for sgs plus?? For galaxy y OK...but sgs plus doesn't!

But its for TOUCHWIZ firemware that means stock JellyBean 4.1.2 for S Advence (yes, it have official JB). So it changes Circle lock for Flare.
On I9000 we have 2.3.6 stock firemware. With 4.1.2 we need use Custom roms based on Clean android with just part of touchwiz. I think it is possible to port but wont be ease. I am not developer so i am not sure. Theres alot of people with good skills which could do this but it can take time (and noone will pay them). So if anone will do this everybody will be Happy. I just want to have even circle lock and there isnt any

lets hope someone ports this too for our sgs

It depends on whether you want it done for CM9, CM10 or CM10.x.
CM9 and CM10, guides are already up (that's for an S3 feel but so many people have modded it to look like an S4. Take a look at the Touchwiz roms for quite a few HTC phones, eg. Sensation, and there's also at least one in the Galaxy Ace forums).
CM10.x, its harder because of the new lock screen. However it seems to have been done to some extent, although it hasn't been released...

About this first link with circle lock. I am trying to do it for cm10 on i9000 but cant decompile .jar file. Dont have application. Just if someone will do thsis (because it is easy) please upload it here.
On Galaxy Ace theres mod with flare effect but without tutorial. I am not developer so i wont do tis but meybe someone could do.

First of All Check This:

I have dood news. I did both ot them for I9000 working only on CM10
And flare Effect isnt 100% like original. Animation is "bored" because it use only 4 PNGS. Its just Circle lock from this thread:

But anyway looks great. Also this mod have little problem on I9000 because Radius of unlock swipe is to big. It dont Fit with Screen width. you need to Swipe to the top, or right-top, but when swype right/left it not work :]
If Sky_walker will allow to Use His PNGS i can make it working for I9000 (Flare). Now i dont have any request from Him.

more than thousand people saw this thread but still its not confirmed that any dev will look up and work on this ?

Seem like you are accounted for more than half of the views so why don't you do it yourself. Not trying to be a d ick or anything but you should expect nothing here and take your frustration else where

It is just impossible to port air view and gesture cause they need some extra hardware to work but smart scroll and smart pause can be ported you can find them on some rom's even i just hope some dev makes a simple flashable zip so that we can enable them on any rom we wish

Smartpause is in my rom, smart scroll compatibillity is completely dropped by samsung..

guys i f you dont want to help him then dont post crap for him simply tell him that the some features need extra hardware which is not possible on the s3 that simple

1 should be in the Q/A section.
2 xda policy search before post should have been followed, surely if he did he would have discovered the lack of hardware.

[REQ] Touchwiz Home frome Note Edge

Can somebody please port the Note Edge Touchwiz to the Galaxy S6 Edge? I like this design more than the original one. I tried to rebuild it with Total Launcher but it does not look so good.

you should be able to replace it with one in the note edge forums.. I used one on the vzw s5 but can't remember which one..
if you mean having the same edge functionality then it won't work with just the launcher. I'm sure there's more behind the scenes for that to work

try this one.. since we are odexed you might have to go into folder and delete the odex file.. make sure you have another launcher before messing with it in case you need it.

I installier 2 of them (Original and insaine) but both have only 3 icons in a line. Also I was unable to move any icon

So i created a application called SmartCut.

What it does is ones you activate it, it will place a trigger on your screen and with it you can easy access any placed apps from one of the five (paid, three if free version) positions.
Easy and clean design and alot of customisation for the trigger.

Thanks, glad you liked it ! Sry I'm not all sure of what you mean by replace favourite? Do you mean the people edge widget ?

Well, the thinget with people edge is that it can only be turned off from within settings. And not something that I can force. So right now, no sorry it does not but I like having one app with contacts and one for my apps

Nice effort, but I too has the same problem as jaythenut, went to add stock clock as first shortcut and the widget stopped working.

Keep crashing on mine too

Guys, i found the problem and fixed it. Im currently waiting on it being uploaded to play. It might take a few hours, 2-4 i guess.
Hope this will solve everything for you guys

its working for me,nice app i think it just has to be a little more smoother like the edge people widget

nice work.. it works for me.. I don't like the vibration when you slide it out but other than that its good..
I'm still waiting for a Dev to give us edge on launcher like the note edge.. sucks that we can only slide it out or use it when the screen is off. would love to remove status bar and have it on the edge but that's wishful thinking lol

Great idea I was looking for an app that utilizes the s6 edge. I was wondering if you would be implimenting a blur effect once it's open similar to the people's edge on the s6, support for icon packs, and also support folders as well.

someone has tried to use stock lollipop dialer, do you think i have to enable root to use it?
someone knows if the apk is the only thing needed?

I'd like to know that too. As I've played with G4 for a bit and really think that stock Google lollipop dialer and contacts apps are really beautiful. So wanted to check if there's any way of replacing the dialer when I get my G4. Thank you

Thank you for suggestion, however I tried it already and its very very far from Google dialer or contacts design. I'd love if there was G4 Google edition with G4 camera app but I guess one just can't have all the best. Thank you

yep am using this for now, i bought the pro version too
it's a pity i have a small picture instead the fullscreen one in lollipop, but i can live with it
but would be good to find a way to use all the lollipop stock dialer+contacts
i wanted to root it to try, but seems on other phones didn't work (probably some libraries missing)

I really hope that one day Google will push dialer and contact apps to play store. They've done amazing job on these on lollipop
