Hi, welcome it's a bit hard to understand what you're trying to say. I'm guessing you tried to install clockworkmod(CWM) custom recovery but you coudn't. I suggest you try TWRP and see if it works

I cant find any forums for htc desire 501, hope may someone can help me here.
I have htc desire 501 dual sim Phone. this device is not listed in CWM or TWRP custom recoveries. so i tried with most suitable recovery of htc one v recovery but it did not work , whenever i reboot in recovery at that time phone stuck at boot screen then nothing happen.
i need stock recovery of HTC Desire 501 Dual sim.
It will be appreciated if any one can help me with this.

Hello guys, I've got some questions about the HTC Desire 816G Octacore Dual Sim Mediatek chip variant.
1) I managed to root the device, but whenever I try to boot in recovery mode, it shows me the dead android thingy with an exclamation mark over it. What does this mean, and how can I fix it?
2) How do I install custom recovery (if there is one for this variant)? Because I've seen other threads where there's a lot of confusion, some say it works, other say that there are no custom recoveries for this variant, etc.
3) Are there custom roms for this variant?

So i have this phone HTC DESIRE 816 ASIA dual sim and i am so new to htc because this was my dad's phone. As soon as i had my hands on it, i chose to root it and have super user access. I have successfully unlocked the bootloader but the rooting process was not so successful. I had also managed to install twrp recovery.
But now i cant install ota updates because it boots into twrp and not into stock recovery. So i tried to install stock recovery i got from one of htc desire 816 dual sim thread and tried installing it and locked the bootloader.
Now the problem is, bootloader status is 'relocked', phone's software is 'modified' and entering recovery forces me into a red triangle screen deadend.
Help me to overcome this so that i can have my ota updates install again. A step by step help will be great, because i am so bad at this stuff.
Also how do i unlock bootloader again when i have relocked it. ??

i first installed marshmallow through twrp backup,replacing old backup with some sort of rom founded on the web,it didnt let me access gsm services like messaging,4g,though calls were working just fine.Finally i found another marshamllow rom,copied the unarchived files instead of zip (fatal fault) and flash only boot.img.It warned me that no os was installed,but i just ignore that warning and reboot.Now my htc desire 816 dual sim europe its stuck on htc white screen.What should i do?
I recently purchased an htc desire 626G dual sim which was supposed to be international but ended up being the HTC EU version (not entirely sure if they are not the same but HTC support said no) and this is the second one I Bought. The first (supposedly actual international version) rooted fine and worked with HTC Sync; this one will not and HTC support has not been helpful whatsoever for this so please help I need 3 things
1st, How to make this work with HTC Sync or find some other way for fastboot to work with this
2nd, how to find a suitable TWRP or alternative that would work for this
3rd How to unlock bootloader?
no option for it in dev options and in recovery mode (the only mode that you can access from the vol down (which is vol up on this phone) and power button)
