ROM and ROOT for LG Optimus LTE P936

I have new LG phone . My phone info. as follows:
LG Optimus True HD LTE
LG-P936
Android 2.3.6
Baseband: P936-MDM9200B-V10c-APR-2012-XX
Kernel 2.6.35.11
How to root the phone and flash other ROM like CM9? Thanks

Woundering the same.. ordered mine and i will get it tomorrow (sweden) first thing i want is to root and install cm9 to it! and if someone knows if lte radio works with cm9 in sweden?

i also got the LG optiumus TrueHD Lte from Hong kong running android 2.3.6. unfortunately i cant root it with any current availablr methods... plz dev helps us.

Me too.....who can help us?

There's a Super One Click root that works. You just have to be persistent with it. It will fail a few times, but if you keep at it, it will eventually succeed. So far, noone seems to know what the pattern is, it just works.

Has anyone verified the method? I have been trying for a while and it still doesnt work....hope others have better luck

May I know which version for Super One Click can root P936?

Try Super one Click (latest version for the home page)
Always stop at the step 7 after reboot
try more than 5 times

can flash LG Nitro HD Custom ROM?

Try this method:

Extract the rar-file and click "TPSparkyRoot.bat".
After that just follow the instructions on Screen.
(Please note that you have to bring your phone in USB-Debug-Mode!!!)
Let me know if it works out for you guys.

More specific info's please... like what version of ROM are you on right now would maybe be helpful. A simple "dont work" is just the headline. :cyclops:

The only rom that can be rooted is the at&t leaked ics rom.
But with that rom I can only connect to HK's Egde network.
I end up using CM9.

may I know does you means you can use 4g lte in HK with CM9 Rom
Also how to install it because I still can't root it

I'm new in the tab forum so feel free to move this thread or let me know if it's posted in the wrong section.
Anyway, I just got me a tab 3 8" that's.running 4.2. Since kitkat seems to be coming soon I'm wondering if it's still possible to root if I update?
If not, which is the latest stock software I can use if I want root?

Hey bro , u can root after updating your tab to kitkat . It depends on the developers . They will most probably create a root.zip and a new recovery soon after the tab recieves kitkat .

Hi guys, I have a Chinese g3 dual sim (d857) and the software information shows a build number KVT49L.D85710a
Can I use the root tools provided around the forum or is there no way for me to root it since I can get any way for Google play to work

Bump please I already checked root tools available such as purple and my model wasn't listen anywhere wanting to know if there's hope

Download vroot its a chinese rooting software , it does root almost every device that i know of .

Have you tried stump root? This won't brick your phone, just won't work if not compatible.

Towelroot..works on many devices. Won't hurt to try. Just Google it. Open it and hit button. Its apk. Its fast. If your phone doesn't reboot automatically it worked. Then reboot and check. Let me know.

Stump won't root your G3? I thought it definitely rooted all our G3s. Does it just say it's incompatible? I'd go to the Stump thread and ask there, if that's true I'm sure JCase would like to know if he doesn't already.

How to root/downgrade/flash LG G3 Android 5, V20e

Hi guys,
Couple days ago I bought LG G3 with branded software from Polish operator.
Next I've updated it to the newest Android - 5.0
Firmware version is now V20e-260-01 (now I have option to update it to V20f-DEC-22-2014), compilation LRX21R
I was trying to find some method to root my phone (all I need is... Titanium Backup) but for now nothing is possible.
Also I know that I can flash my phone and install custom ROM but to be honest - last time I did that was over 2 years ago and I need nice instruction/guide to not damage my phone
So if you could be so kind please recommend most stable, easy-to-install and fast ROM so I can finally copy my old applications

You can't install a custom recovery or a custom ROM. You are stuck on stock.

First of all you're in the wrong thread, this is for AT&T devices and your SM-N920V is a Verizon device which cannot be rooted as of yet and I suggest you use the Verizon thread to avoid confusing people and flashing stuff for the wrong device.

Ii belive users were waiting for an update and if they made the update available to download away from the phone. Update was required so users could build a root for att galaxy note 5. From what I read

Yeah i read this too!

We have root for att note 5, it sucks but it's root. Verizon may never get root and I really mean it. They are locked down harder then fort KNOX!!

I would advise against it, but it's in the general secton Labled N920A Temp Root.

Really? How can i get that root? Have tried many root apps (kingroot, kingoroot, iroot) and still unsuccessful..

Yes ive tried every thing there is no stable root method I mean you can[kind of] if you haven't updated to marshmallow. Im unlocked and using tmobil but you dont get the aws bands so service isnt as good as a legit tmobil phone.
