When I used Windows Mobile I had and app that could filter and block call. I could add some phones to my blacklist (so if I received an call from this number it would block it) whitelist and I could also send some pre-wrote SMS when receiving a call.
So if I were on a meeting and someone called me, I could send him a SMS saying "This is an auto response: I'm in a meeting right now and I'll call you back when it finishes." I could do this direclty in the answering screen. I could "Answer" the call, "reject" and "ignore and send SMS"
Does anyone knows if we have a similar app for Android? Couldn't find it in the Android market.

I'm not sure about the auto-SMS feature, but the Galaxy S has a built-in feature to block calls from certain numbers.
I m looking for the same. I did found the app AutoResponder whitch sends a predefinded SMS to all incoming calls when the app is activated. Its not exactly what im looking for because im not able to choose on incoming call screen whether i want to send the SMS or not.

Yeah. With this Windows app that I had on my HTC Kaiser (one year ago... after that I used a Blackberry for sometime). I could choose which call I would answer with SMS. I could see who was calling and decide to answer, ignore or send the SMS.
Get Easy filter 1.2 from market or install the other hundreds using "filter" as keyword

Sending SMS to reject call is available on our SGS out of the box. When a call comes through, there is this little arrow at the bottom of the screen. Pull that up and you can see the list of auto-reject SMS messages. Click on 1 and your phone will reject the call and send out the SMS.
You can configure the list of messages under Settings->Call Settings->All Calls->Reject Call with Message

- This app allows you to send sms to missed/rejected calls.

I have my home Vonage number forwarded to my GV number. If the person calling hangs up or I answer the phone, the call will get logged in my "Received Calls" log. If I ignore the call, there is no record in the "missed call" log. Is this normal?

If you use call rejection to reject everyone who's not on your contact list, do the rejected callers still get to leave voice mail for you?
Same question for call blocking: if you block incoming-call notifications for everyone who's not on your contact list, can they still leave voice mail?

Rejected callers will get dumped straight to your voice mail. I am not certain on the 2nd part of your question.
I warn against rejecting callers. I did it to someone and now I cannot un-reject them. They don't show as rejected but their calls still dump straight to VM. Tried re-rejecting and un-rejecting and still straight to VM.

I just wanted to know whether htc 10 has popup incoming call, the one which will keep you in any screen you are ant not interrupting you.?
Also, please tell me if the messaging app supports black listing phrases, so all of incoming messages with that phrase are blacklisted.

yes, htc default phone app and message app supports blocking unwanted people.
No heads-up notification for incoming GSM calls.. only for incoming calls on Hangouts Dialer (i.e. Google Voice)
No built-in SMS filtering based on the incoming message content..

Hello guys i have some private number calling me from months i have Asus Zenfone 2
I tried to block the private numbers from call settings
But still i am receiving the private number calling BUT now only like notification WIthout ringing, even i dont select the "display blocked call notification"
So i want to know if there is some app to send the private number to voicemail and also the block them and without receiving notification...!!
