Hi I have a 4gb micro sd card and copied some music files on it from Macbook Pro using Android File Transfer Utility. Everything works fine until I restart the phone. As soon as I reboot the music files are gone other files, that were there are still there. I formatted it in windows and could see that its blank in my phone. Again connected and created a folder on sd card through astro file manager and the folder stayed there until I restarted the phone but gone on restart. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Same stuff happens with me
I'm not sure if this is related to the 4.3 bug or not but I have the tmobile galaxy s4 and I can no longer modify anything on my external sd card. Everything still reads fine but it seems alot slower than before.
I tried using es file manager to delete/write , but it dosen't work. It will say deleted successfully but when i refresh, it reappears. When i try to create a new file it says "sorry, operation failed"
I also checked the permissions file and it says it has r/w access for external storage.
Is my card just dying or corrupted or what? How can I fix this?
I just want to be able to use it again.
I also tried formatting. When i do it on the phone it just freezes. When I do it on the pc, it says write protected.
I tried gparted as well but it hangs during detection.
This is the default micro sd card that came with the phone...

Remove your external microSD and plug it into a card reader and or the adapter which came
with the card then plug it into your computer.
Make an empty folder on desktop of computer and copy all files and folders from the microsd
card into the empty folder.
Format your external microsd using this windows utility and copy all the files/folders back onto
the card from your computer and replace it into your phone.
Here is the direct download link for this fat32 formatter which is a windows utility:
http://download.cnet.com/MiniAide-F...815.html?spi=e1b6eca6ba2a9bfc9c74ffba47b88ad1
By doing the above your external microSD card should work find again.
Good luck!

Hi Friends,
I have small query regarding my mobile NOKIA X. I am unable to open the content in my External Memory SD Card and unable to send the music files using Bluetooth in my mobile. I tried to connect the mobile to PC and copy the files in my External SD Card but is there any alternate method to directly open the files in my Mobile itself and also i am unable to send any files that are located in SD Card using Bluetooth.
Please do let me know if any body has solutions for this one other than swapping internal memory to External SD Card.
Looking forward to hear all your valuable suggestions ASAP.
Thanks,
DVH

You need to download file manager like Astro File Manager. That should allow you to browse your files directly from your mobile. It should allow you to send files through bluetooth too.
I've been installing a lot of ROM on my DHD, and in some point i've noticed that my internal memory doesn't appear anymore.
If i need to install a ROM i need to do it via external SD card. When i connect my device to PC via USB i see only the SD card, and when i open file system via ES file manager i see only SDCARD and system files.
Currently I want to run to run RUU on this and the installation fails.
Can someone help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance.
So I've been trying to transfer music from both iTunes (using Wondershare and iExplorer) and regular drag and drop in Windows Explorer. I'm not sure as to why this keeps happening so I'm reaching out to y'all.
My phone won't recognize a lot of the music that's transferred both internally to the phone's storage or externally to the memory card. Then sometimes when I do transfer, some files work, some files don't. I've tried reformatting the SD card, but I'm not so sure if that's the only issue. I never had a problem transferring music with the Galaxy S3 (phone connected via USB, and then drag and drop to external SD card). Can anyone please help!
