here is the final Version of my selfmade ROM. The ROM is based on the XXJPM-Firmware. I wish you a lot of fun
ATTENTION: Flashing a new ROM is sometimes dangerous. I post this ROM because it works perfect on my i9000, but I don't give a guarantee that it works for you.
You can install the ROM via update.zip. But it only works with a pre-rooted phone with Recovery 2e and a installed XXJPM-Firmware

Sure. The Weather widget is included in Beautiful Widgets. The Clock is an old version of Beautiful Widgets, but HTC made Google kick it out of the market. It's not aviable anymore. The Version with the weather is aviable in the market.

Your Rom looks great, does it work with JP6/JPM from Kies, too?
Is Touchwiz completely exchanged through Launcher Pro or is the Touchwiz surface still running in background and using memory?
No, the rom doesn't work with jp6. But I'm going to modify it this evening.
You can choose between touchwiz and launcherpro after the first boot. I have removed parts of touchwiz, removing the launcher was not possible in this version. But by setting laucherpro as default you'll never see something of touchwiz

Missing myfiles. You can not set the alarm clock mp3 ringtone
By the way, integrated alarm clock and a phone plugged into the charger crash all? I thought that JPM does not have this bug.

Thank you for the information. In the next ROM-Version I will replace the orginal alarm clock with a stable one and implementate a new file browser. Myfiles is the worst thing you can have (my opinion^^)

hi i used the Rom through all day and have found it really nice, and fluent what is for me much more important than quadrant score.
But the bug ^ mentioned above [the crashing on the charger ]forced me to go back to tuyatama creation
Otherwise I Look forward to try your next one a specially that, Your Rom is one of the lightest on the moment so more space for my own stuff.

Hi, I took the email.apk from this package and put it into jp6 but it still won't show the bottom part of the message list nor the bottom of a message. Updating from the exchange server is also still slow. Can somebody take a look if the mail client is truly functional on this rom? And if so; how come it aint on JP6?

Is that the JU7000 from last year? Did you have the chance to look at the KS Samsung TVs this year or the Panasonic DX-902 or even Sony XD93. Those TVs should be a significant step up. I particularly like the motion control on the Samsung KS series because for the first time through motion interpolation it's possible to get a lot less motion blur on an LCD without any kind of motion artefacts or soap opera effect.

I've been in contact with Cookoo quite a lot to get the thing working on jfltexx/OMNIROM. Just suggested they use XDA to make there apk updates available to us lot. I'm waiting now to receive the update from january 9th...

Sorry, lost my eye on this topic.
I already sold the Cookoo.
It lost connection to often (for example in the car when my carkit connects) and starts beeping.
Mostly fail on reconnect wich ends in pairing it 2 or 3 times a day.
Also doesn't offer custom notification support. I don;t use the stock email because of lack on HTML support and I use a 3rd party app (about 100 mails a day) and can't use the Cookoo with that.
besides that it was to thick to combine with a business suit. I wear 700-1500 dollar suits and it looks like a carnaval watch under it.
Now bought myself a Tommy Hilfiger "normal" watch
Just got the Takee 1 today and want to share my full unboxing & first impressions about this phone.
This is a new cheaper version of the last year released Takee 1. This version comes without any earphones and a more discreet packaging. For me it is okay, as the phone and hardware is the same, but the price is so much better.
This version includes working Google Play Store out of the box! but it was missing Holo Space and 3D Films/Games etc. but I was able to install these things afterwards, so everything is fine! I believe it is called an EU version as the phone didn't include chinese apps and the ROM is pretty stock!
The original introduction price of this phone was about 6-700 USD last year, but this one here is like more than 5 times cheaper! For that price it is worth it IMO, because the hardware & build quality is very good. Only on the software side it is still stuck with JB and there will likely not be any Lollipop in the near future. But I actually did get one OTA update on the phone from 10 septebmer 2015 so they do still update it.

Only if someone makes it? and usually that only happens on phones with big community support, and currently only very few people have this phone, so I don't expect anything.

1. It is a bit similar to 3D on a 3D TV I would say, hard to say how good it is, what do you compare with???
2. No, that is calibrated on the phone from the manufacture
3. That's up to you, I can't tell what you think. For extreme 3D lovers it might be, for normal users maybe not
4. Only pictures and videos and special apps made for it

Don't flash the ROMs from needrom, the 1S ROM is not compatible! and the other one is a VERY old Beta ROM, not usefull at all. Also you might loose the 3D effect if you flash another ROM, as the phone then needs to be calibrated again to show the 3D effect, and only Estar can do that then. As far as I know there is no KitKat ROM out.
If the look is different in videos you have seen, it is just using another launcher, but the ROM is still just based on 4.2 - I think the Chinese version from 2014 had another launcher, but that version did also miss the Play Store, so not recommended.

I tried the Partitions Backup & Restore v1.52 on the phone, but when I start it on the Takee 1, it doesn't show any Partitions, the list is just blank/white so the app doesn't seem to be compatible with the phone. I can't backup anything with it.

Ok, try flash patched boot.img for SP FlashTool, and backup MTK DroidTools
I have just made a full "readback" backup (with preloader, userdata etc.) of the phone with SP Flash Tool.....
The ROM is on needrom now here: http://www.needrom.com/download/takee-1/
It includes all the Holo apps, ROOT and the latest Sep OTA update.
But anyone who flash the ROM - FIRST make a backup of your own ROM just in case! I take NO responsibility for anything or if you loose your 3D calibration on your phone. Flashing could result in that the 3D calibration is lost, and then the 3D effect will be gone on the phone, even in the 3D video player.
The 3D calibration is a sensitive issue, I would want to be QUITE sure it would be intact on a custom ROM. I'd be more concerned with properly rooting it first.
Installed and looks great on my S9 (running pie alpha, should be fine on 8.0)

There's some wallpapers that move to the music playing on your phone, they work. There's also some that require location permission (similar to the pixel 2 wallpapers port).

For some reason it won't let me upload screenshots but there's some in the original article.
Upon further testing there's lots of wallpapers that don't work.
This version has been ported to work on older versions so I'm going to get my hands on the original and see if it works on the pie alpha.
