Hello im having a problem with my desire z. the screen automatically lights up to the lockscreen as if i have pressed the unlock button on the top and then it goes off normally like if i press the power lock button, it goes off but then again after 30 seconds it comes on. i though it was a problem with a rom but i switched to 2 roms and the problem is still here. i have been facing this for 2 days. Any help?

Does it stay on? Do you have any kind of notifications going? When you switched roms did you do a full wipe between them?
HELP PLEASE SOMEONE! :crying::crying:
My ROGERS Samsung Galaxy SIII LTE SGH-i747M running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 has a lock screen bug! I have been googling around the web, but still couldnt find anyone with the bug I am having right now, so i am asking for someone to plz help me out here! The bug just started today, my phone is set to "Swipe" mode on the lock screen, so usually I would just need to swipe my screen to unlock my phone, but today, when i press my power button OR home button, my phone turned on, and showed my lock screen for 1 second, and it unlocked by itself. I didnt have to swipe or anything, all i did was pressed my power button OR home button, and it unlocked by itself. I know this is just a minor problem, but it is so annoying! I am sorry if i dont make any sense, because its hard to explain the situation I am having, but plzzz someone help me out here!
Thanks!!!
Cheers!:fingers-crossed:

Goto settings >security and check what they are set at under lock screen. Less security than swipe is none, which means once it wakes up you are on the home screen.

But the problem i am having is that, mine is set at "Swipe", and before the bug happened, i can swipe my screen and unlock, but now, all i have to do is just turn on the screen with power or home button and my lock screen wall paper will show up and then half a second after, it will unlock to my home screen by itself, and it wont let me swipe.
The above bug happens to me sometimes. I then switched to using a pattern on my lock screen.
If I leave the phone unattended sometimes for a few hours, when I "wake" it, it reverts to a "swipe" to unlock instead of my pattern of password that was set. My phone is stock 4.1.1 and not rooted.

Hi there,im having problem in my s4 mini i9195..when i press the button to lock the screen its just turn back on and keep turn on and off it self..
tried flashing stock roms,factory reset etc,nothing works..
please help..?
Just created an account to say I'm having the same problem. Lock screen isnt working (GT-I9192) and home button is failing to work too.
AOSP Note II user here with the same problem. It shows up when I dirty flash from CyanogenMod to OmniRom (I know I shouldn't). It looks like the keyguard is partially at fault according to the logcat. The Pie Control app works fine but hardware home button and navbar don't work even when I use Tasker to disable the keyguard. It seems some processes think the phone was never unlocked. I'll keep looking into it.

Hello everyone i am using Samsung duos grand i9082 with jellybean 4.2.2 . I have a problem.
in settings as per online tutorials there is no touch calibration function in the settings.
I want to calibrate my touch screen because when i press power key to unlock my phone, the touch do not respond for 5 seconds or more then it goes smooth after unlocking.
Is it a problem of touch calibration or something else ?
