I had the same problem. I was able to make a backup and restore, but wasnt able to flash any roms

Anyone? With cm12 tried this?

If you guys mean the Android L floating around for D851 (which is built from source) then yes. If you mean stock LG Android L (which is not released yet) then no ofc

I've tested again and all is fine, not sure which ROM you had problem. Maybe your dev used outdated updater binary in the ROM zip.

I flashed the updated recovery then flashed cloudyfa last build, installed fine for me. Going by what is known so far I guess it's best to go back if we want to flash any of the AOSP based builds for now.

I have stock 10m, can I dirty flash the partitions from 10r and nothing would be deleted?

can i please get pointed into the right direction to the latest rom from cloudyfa?

I for myself have to think about how ingenuous I flash files on my phone

Nope.
Actually dotview already exists in AOSCP. But, it isn't working correctly..
I working very rare..
I tried many ways to replace it with another version.
But I wasn't able to fix it.

But one IMPORTANT note (xiaomi eu rom),
Backup DATA partiotion to USB/PC, formatm data , flash rom, boot fully (with format data partition), go to twrp and restore data and boot .
If you flash "dirty" without boot on clear data partition rom, there is some problems i dont know why

if your restore data partition from oreo after clean boot pie, everything will work perfectly, with your data from oreo
