Was a pretty neat setting in CM. Noticeably improved performance and completely got rid of the tearing/visual artifact issue for me without noticeable quality loss. Any way to enable it in PA? Yeah, the performance settings section is nowhere to be found, but maybe an edit in build.prop or somewhere will do the job? Or is a custom kernel the only way? I figured since the legacy builds of PA are based on CM..
Anyway, Galaxy S3, the newest beta build.

Hiya matey, it would be the discretion of the S3 maintainer to add this feature, It wouldn't be added in mass to all legacy devices.

Okay PA ppl, i know you love PA. i've been using it over my SGS2 since then.
We all know that the hybrid engine is wicked. But since 4.2 is out, we could expect a lot of changes from the new upcoming PA.
what i expect:
-Of course, the new QuickSettings with hybrid engine compatibility. Some says its not good. Hey, i spend more time open the settings rather than toggling those buttons all the time. Though, notification toggles are really handy, maybe we could expect those two in one pull down notification or an option to enable either.
-I have read that the lock screen will provide widget support. well thats really cool. but i can't exactly say how hybrid would be implemented in that portion.
anyways. have your thoughts shared here about the 4.2+PA.
Navbar customisation like AOKP. I know by shrinking status bar will make the navbar being shrinked also. But the problem is, the "touch area" and the glow of navbar also being small. It becomes really hard to touch (using phone mode).

Like ten thousand spoons? No, it's not ironic. PA users and the PA devs are in the PA thread. Seems like a no brainer. Also, a lot of people don't check General, just their favorite ROM threads.

HA me too im kind off hesitating to use widget locker because of wakes but now they integrated it into their source. its awesome. i just wonder how would hybrid engine be implemented to it

I personally cannot wait for a 4.2 PA release. Ideally not until CDMA update is released as I am a toro user. However I'd be down to try a build out asap! Can't wait for a stable DarkPA release from DaxMax. That's what I'm patiently waiting for. Until then, 2.54 with a lot of 4.2 mods will hold me over.
Wish I could post this in the development section under the ROM but I guess I don't participate enough in the forums.
Anyways, I updated the ROM this morning and the secure WiFi is broken. Carbon Linaro ROM running 4.2.1 is the only 4.2.1 ROM with working secure WiFi so if you're thinking about updating to 4.2.2 don't if you need your secure WiFi.

Carbon ROM is not the only 4.2.1 ROM with working secure WiFi. Chads ROM has had this feature for a while now.

The desire hd and inspire are pretty much the same.
Finding the inspire forum isnt hard at all, so I worry about your rooting abilities. That said, take your time, no rush. Be sure before proceeding.

I read in the insane KK thread that some toggles are not themed.... The Sickness did not make this theme he converted it from from the 4.3 theme to be compatible with 4.4 he didn't create the theme.....keep that in mind.....it's originally a 4.3 theme
I wonder if this is gonna be a problem...If we don't just pull this theme?

I love these toggles! But it seems to be missing the flashlight!
As great as all these realism icons look ... My personal preference is hovering around the really modern/ simplistic and clean Icons. Even from like the cydia (ipod/iPhone/iPad) line... I know how amazing the sickness is and thought he would give the simplicity a shot when creating the next set of icons. But still amazing job on pretty much everything pal
