Anybody have firsthand experience of flashing a P600 ROM on a P601 device?
In theory I'm thinking that this should work fine except for loosing the 3G data connection because both share the same hardware: minus the radio module on the P600.
Thanks.

Yes, you can install/flash p600 rom in p601 but losing celullar capability. If you explore android development section you will find alot of members here already flashed their p601 with p600 rom.

What about p605 ROMS on the p600?
EDIT:
Found out the answer is no due to different hardware.
What about the other way?
Can you flash P601 rom onto a P600?

Are there any KitKat ROMs for the 9192 variant of the S4 Mini. All the KK ROMs I can see are for the 9190 or 9195.
Planning on getting a 9192 this weekend.

Because of the dual radio, porting ROM for the GT-9192 has its difficulties. You either need to wait for the official release for Samsung or use ODION and flash another region's KK ROM. Note this will trigg Knox. You need to do more research on that before you getting the phone.
So far no kk for us, we'll have to wait for stock
I understand. Any update ? Maybe that is the reason why there are a few roms for our device. Hope we will get kitkat soon and developers will rebuild their roms for our devices. Thanks !

there is also a kitkat 4.4.4 with thousands of compilations, not understand exactly what the best, some lower older versions and do not exhibit the same bugs of others, it seems a rather matter of luck ... But all are not official, I believe that will not leave even reviewed by the official forum, only the good guys who make the effort,'re below the link of 4.4.4, if anyone knows which one is the most stable.

 That question was asked in February, more than 6 months ago when there was no KK ROMs for 9192.
Its been a long time after that and there are quite a few KK ROMs for the 9192 now.
Right now am using the Carbon KitKat ROM (4.4.4) [link in my signature]
Thanks anyway for the reply :good:
Hi guys,
currently i own a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) - SM-P605, so is the variant with the LTE connectivity.
While i like to have mobile connectivity on my devices, i don't necessarily use it all the time, so i'm thinking if it is possible to install 4.4.2 android version for SM-P600 on this LTE variant, and reinstall the LTE variant later, when available..? Of course i assume only wifi connectivity until than...
If i remember well, i think i did once this on the first variant of galaxy note 10.1, by mistake, obviously, but it worked...
I'm looking for an advised opinion, please let me know what you think!
thanks a lot in advance,
f

I would be really surprised if you flashed the P600 firmware on the P605 and it worked. The P600 has an Exynos CPU, the P605 has a Qualcomm CPU and if you flash the wrong firmware you will most likely brick your device.
Advice: Under no circumstances try to flash a P600 firmware on a P605 or vice versa!

Ohhh, in this case, of course...
I was convinced that there is a wifi version of the tablet with Qualcomm too...
thanks a lot!
Hi there!
I have a Galaxy S4 Mini l9195L (Latin version), which only can only officially upgrade to 4.2.2
Is it possible to upgrade it to 4.3 (or later) using custom firmware for a regular non-latin l9195 device?
I have researched many websites and forums but cannot find the answer.
Thank you so much in advance.
I was about to ask the same thing in the Kitkat thread. Hope someone can answer to this.

Its better NOT to use firmware/ROMs meant for devices of different model number. Yes I9195 and I9195L have same hardware but there is a reason why sammy uses different model numbers. Wait for official kitkat, go to sammobile firmware section and search for I9195L.
I do not think you will be able to flash any stock based kitkat custom roms on I9195L. It gives error as it is looking for i9195 and u have i9195l.
Be patient. never be complacent.
Hi, i can see on sammobile.com that there is a stock rom with android 4.4.2 out to the p5210 device. But only on canadian devices. Will there be any problems if i flash that rom on my p5210 nordic countries tablet?
Link to the rom: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=33803
Thanks

I would wait a bit as this ROM seems to be quite similar to the 4.2.2 except for the keybaord.

I installed the rom 1 hour ago, and it works perfectly There are noticable changes. The UI seems cleaner and it is much faster and smooth.
As the title says guys. Recently traded some computer stuff for a Tab 3 7" and it already has 4.4.2. I used Odin to flash TWRP. Can I just install a new ROM now?

As a senior member I probably can't tell you anything you don't already know, but - as soon as I get TWRP installed I make a backup. This should always be the first step before flashing anything imo....
Which version do you have? (T110 / T111 / T210 / T210R / T211 / T217S)
Try THIS THREAD :good:

I have the wifi only 7" version. I think T210 or T210R. I flashed a new Kit Kat ROM no issues over the weekend though but thanks anyways.
