[Q] Sony Xperia z1 compact Multisim card - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

AOSP 5.1 - cm12
Hello.
I have a problem. I have Sony Xperia z1 compact.
It has Multisim card.
1. On stock software it works on CM11. On CM12 - I can't phone, the call is not performed, but calls for me pass. It happens with all versions of CM12.
2. If I install AOSP by FXP Android 5.1 the phone does not accept the SIM card. (SIM card is not inserted)
3. If I return to cm11 SIM card works well.
If it is possible, write me a reply on mail [email protected]
Thank you so much

Hello. I will try to build Android L for all Sony devices on the SoC Snapdragon S3, that is, Xperia Ion, Xperia S / SL, Xperia acro S / HD.
It remains one problem is a memory leak, which occur due to frequent rebooting my device (Acro S)
When the first booting, phone used memory RAM 120+ MB.
Further, for 1 minute it increase to 500+ MB, and reboots. While I can not understand why.
Once the problem is corrected on Acro S, for all other devices, the assembly will be available within a week.
And while users Acro S can download it and test it.
Good luck to everyone.
Thanks

[Q] Mount points in cm12 compared to xperia l

I want to use an int to ext script, and I have a Samsung evo class 10 microsd. I saw an app called mounts2sd on Google play, and one of the reviews claimed the reviewer managed to get it working on xperia L running cm12. Assuming he is right, is there any reason it wouldn't work on xperia M?
I'm using mounts2sd on cm11 for longer time without issues. No idea about cm12.
What settings did you use for CM11?
Here you have details: xda-developers Legacy & Low Activity Devices Sony Xperia M Xperia M Android Development mounts2sd - increase internal storage

Z1 Compact, Wifi Acess Points broken

Hello xda Community,
My Xperia Z1 Compact (D5503) have some wifi issues.
Sometimes when i activate wlan my wlan is on, but there is no connection. When i look in Settings > Wlan, there are no access points in the list, i need to reboot my xperia z1 compact to make it work again without problems.
im Using D5503_Customized DE_1279-6978_14.5.A.0.242_R1D (Android 5.02) downloaded with Xperifirm and Flashed with Sony mobile flasher.
Smartphone is not rooted and there is no Bootloader Unlock, its untouched.
Someone can confirm this? Is there maybe a Workaround to fix it?
Greetings from Germany

[Q] How to root and unlock bootloader C6506 android 4.4.4?

How to flash ftf without flash tool
I have the latest build and android version and I want to root my phone.
I have searched through the threads and only found root for older versions.
Is there any root available for the latest build and android?
I know I can't "officially" unlock my bootloader but is there a hack to it.. maybe an "unofficial" way?
Build Number: 10.5.1.A.0.292

If there isn't a root method available for the latest FW, consider flashing an older FTF FW (that can be rooted), then rooting, installing recovery, then flashing a stock-based custom rom (that is based on the latest FW... or something close?)
As for bootloader unlock - if your phone says "no" to bootloader unlock allowed, there is currently nothing you can do to unlock the bootloader.

I am not quite sure if I understand what you are trying to do... FlashTool by Androxyde is working perfectly with C6506 (this is my phone, and I flashed it many times with no problems whatsoever). I don't know and don't care about official Sony FlashTool; never used it.
As for rooting, to my knowledge, there is no direct method for 283 and newer firmware (but I may be wrong). You need to downgrade your kernel to root. At least, that's what I did. There is detailed info on how to do that here on XDA, you just need to search for it. Here is a quick summary I outlined for someone else before. Guaranteed to work.

Thanks I'll get back to you if it worked or not
Similar problem
I also have this problem.
I have a Xperia ZL C6506 that has a bootloader that cannot be unlocked. (Bootloader unlock allow : No)
I am on 4.4.4 with the 10.5.1.A.0.292 kernel and a perma locked bootloader.
Did anyone find a way? Can I flash a new kernel without bricking my phone since I have a locked bootloader? Just trying to root the phone.
Thanks.
