[Q] Did samsung remove the screen recorder?

In the first video we saw a feature to record the screen and sound making a video.
But now nobody have this feature on their phones?
I am missing anything or samsung finally removed this feature?

It seems to also not be working right now.
This is damned odd to put stuff in your videos that aren't available.

i know which function he is referring to, but i can't understand how did he ascertain that 'nobody have this feature on their phones' ... ?

Because all the peoplethat I know or reviews I have seen online of the note 2, doesn't have this feature.
Maybe I am in a mistake, and simply the people doesn't know how to make it work, but if they removed it its a shame

oh alright... i didn't realize that there are quite a bunch of people who now have note2...
well, we can't be sure at the moment about removal of this feature, can we? not being able to work it out can be a possibility as well... time will tell...

Its not working on mine. Im trawling the forum puzzled as to why its not working samsung showed it off in there videos saying how useful it would be.... then removed it?

They were using this as a selling point before release, we have to hope it will come back like split - screen, maybe it was just not ready.

I was looking forward to this feature, sad to see it's not available.

The thread linked below goes into a bit more detail about it (not much more detail). It may come in an OTA... I'm guessing the kinks they are working out, as mentioned in that thread, is the ability to block the recording or movies from Netflix, and Play Store Movies, etc.

Samsung has officially announced in FAQ of Note II, that they have removed the feature of screen recording due to violation of terms in some countries, Samsung has removed this feature.

Same issue as call recording or camera shutter sound then I would guess. Can be enabled using the csc feature method maybe?
I would be interested in this feature to record skype calls, if thats how it works (ibhavent watched the video lol)
Maybe the feature can be extractd from one of the earliest ruu's? (If somebody knows what theyre doing there)

They just showed this feature in their youtube video but it was not available in any of the device but you can record screen using apps from play store.
Rec is the best app minimun requirements are android 4.4 and your phone must be rooted

[Q] No Google Now Activation

Tried to activate Google Now by Voicecommand "OK Google", but nothing happens.
Not on the Startscreen, not inside the opened App.
Only works by manually starting the search inside the App.
Settings has missing points like "activate on each screen", "train command".
Version is 4.5.13.19.arm64
No problems on the S5 with version 4.5.13.18.arm, without the 64 at the end
Anyone got the same problem?

Don't spread your assumptions as fact. Samsung has not acknowledged this at all.

I may have misread the issue. I can only voice activate Google search from the home screen. I have no Google now like I did on my S5.

This feature has been disabled by either Samsung or Google on the galaxy s6 and s6 edge. I'm not sure if it's related to the bugs or maybe Samsung wants people to use S-Voice. But it did work for me the first week I had it. I'm sure you are referring to "OK Google" from anywhere option.

Did anyone try installing an older version to see if it would return....?

I've seen it quoted in more than one article so from my perspective it's not an assumption.

I guess everyone knows that ok google works as long as you are on the same screen with search widget. I had to turn off voice wake up in the SVOICE settings.

Google Now is (at the moment) working on all Screens.
i disabled S-Voice, deinstalled all updates
now i got google now version 4.0.28.1516623.arm
its not listed at installed apps, but under the tab all apps
Maybe its a problem with 64-processor on the side of google

I found this app perfect But i installed it and i noticed that lollipop is turning it off so its wont show up unless you opened it .... so i tried to install it as system app and it worked
So i put it in flashable zip
Tested it on SM-G530H XCU
And it will work on all varients
I didnt have time to make the script so while flashing
will apper system ui sound mod ? just ignore it
Steps :
Put it on sd card
Reboot to recovery
Flash it
Enjoy

3aXL Galaxy Wear Incompatible!

I can't install it from the playstore. It won't let me at all. WTF

I just side loaded it from apk mirror. ****in working!! OMG

Installed it from the play store

Playstore lists the 3aXL as in-compatible for me. I tried on PC and the phone playstore. Both said incompatible.
FUuking working 100% now after sideload. PHEW

They did install. Its all working. Had a crash after reboot. Havn't rebooted yet again.

I read about a bug in Q. Was that a bug on a 3aXL. I have to find it again.
Getting galaxy plugin on responding on reboot. I do have Apps Not Responding {ANR} turned on is options in Android. Default is off.

After the 3aXLreboots, samsung plugin is not responding. If I press wait, it will keep saying "Not Responding". Opening the Galaxy Wearable app shows a blank page. I have to press "Close App". Then Galaxy Wearable opens properly and I can connect to watch. Its the only way to connect. It does stay connected.
Where is that Samsung developer forum? I am going to look for it later. We need this shiit FIXED!

hi guys I'm looking at switching to the xperia mk2 but I love my galaxy watch will it be fully compatible with the xperia will everything work as it does now with my note 10?
Also will I still have access to all the watch faces to download ect

This is my personal experience when I paired GW with Lenovo P2
It appeared that watch e-mail app ( which is not standalone app - just hook to phone app ) works only with Samsung native app in the phone
Text messaging works but is limited to ordinary notifications

Do you have LTE GW ? - maybe this is the explanation. E-mail app in the watch is standalone then. That would make sense.

Download the same Samsung health app and enjoy all about health, Bluetooth should allow with tethering internet, and galaxy store will works in watch only

yes i have the lte version but i use gmail and i can read them on my watch but you are correct i cant use the native email that is on the watch but i think you can download the samsung email from the app store nope you cant so you are right there is better integration if you have a samsung phone
