[Q] [QUESTION/HELP] Porting ROM from other devices [Xperia Z on One X ?]

Hi,
I'm a beginner with hard-coding android, but I've got some experience with flashing, troubleshooting.. that easy stuff. Is it really hard or do I risk bricking my device (more than normal) if I try to port xperia Z ROMs to my HOX?
Would be using this guide for doing this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957219
It seems quite easy, but reading the guide isn't quite "walking the talk"
If it's possible, I would like any hints or tips as well :fingers-crossed:
Thanks for all help on the way to becoming a pro

Lenovo TB2-X30F (Root)

Hello everyone, i am new to the forums and new to rooting.
Have looked around on the net for guides on rooting my Lenovo TB2-X30F with Android 6.0.1 did not find any detailed guide so i tried using KingoRoot and that was not succesful, would be very glad if someone could provide me with a guide or tips.
Would be good if i could avoid those One click root softwares since they feel scetchy.
Regards.
