Hi all, I finally got around to flashing firmware .157 onto my z1c and just noticed that with the camera flash option on (auto or fill or whatever) , the focus LED doesn't turn on when you touch to focus?
However when you half hold the shutter button on the side it does light up to focus.
Anyone else got this problem? Was perfectly fine with the old 108 firmware.
Cheers.

Hi!
I have a problem with ambient light sensor in my SE xperia arc. Users manual says it has this sensor, but there is no option in menu where I can activate it. Also programs like z-device test or androsensor says there is no such sensor is it broken or sth?
My Arc is from Polish Orange, unlocked by code, latest software.
Thx for help
If you hold your finger over the sensor (cover the part on the left side of the speaker) you will see that the phone changes the backlight.
Mine shure does.

Click to collapse
+1 also to stop the flickering when you have fluorescent lights around...
after upgrade fw to .368, my ambience sensor isnt working really well, it took longer time for the brightness transition..

Since a few weeks my LG G3 has te following problems:
- Auto rotation is not working
- Camera is unable to focus frequently when starting the app for the first time
- Camera is not saving while recording, but photos are working fine
- Screen is not turning off while making a phone call
- Auto brightness is not working
- Sometimes the infrared sensor at the front side of the screen is constantly turned on, untill I reboot
I've dropped the phone once, very softly from like 20 cm, on the right bottom side.
The strange thing is that the problems occurd step by step and sometimes disappeared after rebooting, but now all the problems listed above are unfixable.
Checked CPU-Z at the sensors tab, none of them seem to work:
And the original values from a fully working LG G3:
Any ideas on how to fix this, it's getting really annoying right now.
Thanks,
Niek
I guess returning the phone to LG is not going to work, since it has already one scratch mark on it from falling.
Any ideas?
hi @Niekjuh,, how the solution for your phone ?
Returned the phone, they could not repair it so returned the money instead.
So I know about the typical camera issues that this phone has, however, when I noticed the built-in camera app start having issues with the rear camera, I also noticed the LED flash was also starting to go black in the bottom left corner.
Does the LED need to be working in order for the camera to work?
I also cannot use the flashlight, as it shows the error that it can't be used in Camera or other apps (no surprise, positive it's burnt out).
Screen side (front) camera is fine. But suddenly main camera won't auto focus. Tried toggling. Restarting. Removed battery and cleaned the guts and SIM. Still no auto focus.
unlocked and rooted, but stock ROM.
Is the little red LED the auto-focus and does it come with a camera module?
