I just discovered BNC-GIO-v1.0-R2 rom and it looks quite promising. But most of stock apps were trimmed out. I wanted to put in again Memo but was not able to do it by copying it's apk to system/apps with root explorer and giving the apk all permissions. Does anyone know if there's another way to install stock apps on this rom?
cheers

It won't work unless it has the Samsung TouchWiz Framework like all stock ROMs have. I'm not sure what Delanoister based his rom off of, but I believe it's based off of CM7 and not the official 2.3.6 firmware. I think that BNC-GIO-R1 is based off of the official 2.3.6 firmware, so you can try that and the stock apps should work...
so that we can install one by one some of the apps that custom roms remove.

Download an official or custom ROM that hasn't removed the bloatware.
Omega 6.0 for instance has the option to remove or keep teh bloatware so its all in the zip file
So I flashed this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2210512 thinking that despite it being 4.1, it will work on 4.3. Now my stock 4.3 is gone.
Could someone upload a restore file.. (Like, their stock widget or something)
Or a working Widget that replaces the stock with S4 one, for 4.3
I have just updated my S3 to the Quantum rom and tried using Titanium Backup to re-install the DualClockDigital widget from Jellybean. I get an error. After searching I found this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38388232&postcount=1110&nocache=1&z=1222464968450367. I changed permissions and still cannot get it to install.
I understand there are other dual clock widgets out there but I like the simplicity of DualClock.
Any suggestions? TIA

err on the side of kindness
Is the clock widget compatible with KK?
If you are talking about the one in stock touchwiz, there's a good possibility it wont work on non touchwiz roms. Most built in stock samsung apps require the touchwiz framework to function.

Hey OnePlus 3 owners, I need your help. Could anyone of you upload a deodexed OnePlus DeskClock apk here from the official Oxygen OS 4 rom, I tried to extract the apk from the official OTA but failed. If you are on stock, don't do it because stock roms are NOT deodexed, unless you are running on a deodexed stock rom. If any of you are running Experience Rom, can one of you please extract the DeskClock apk here as I believe the Rom is deodexed. Any help is greatly appreciated
