Update your Grand to 4.2.2 (official) using your computer.

I'm not responsible for anything you do with your phone/tablet/rice cooker and make it into an iPhone!
Installation Package & Pre-requisites:
1. Samsung Galaxy Grand (obviously), charged above 80%
2. Odin ( Download Here http://ohguideme.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Odin3-v3.07.zip)
3. The official 4.2.2 firmware for GT-I9082 (Download here)
4. You should have Kies or drivers of your grand installed. Download here (Kies)
5. Enable USB Debugging by going to ettings :>About device >Developer options >USB debugging
Installation:
1. Connect your Grand to your computer via USB Cable.
2. Extract & Start ODIN on your computer, make sure that Auto Reboot & F.Reset is Checked while Re-partition is Unchecked.
3. Restart Galaxy Grand in “Download Mode”. You can do it by switching off the device and then holding Volume Down+Power+Home button simultaneously for few seconds.
4. ODIN should recognize your device [ID:COM will turn blue or yellow], if it does not either your antivirus or firewall settings is creating problem or Samsung USB driver (Kies) is not correctly installed.
5. Check & Hit PDA on ODIN and select the file 'I9082XXUBMI1_I9082ODDBMI1_I9082DDUBMI1_HOME.tar.md5'you downloaded and extracted on your computer. (extract and select).
6. Press Start
After this,
Your Samsung Galaxy Grand will reboot on its own, and you will have official Android 4.2.2 Jellybean Installed on your device.
Note: If their is any problem during installation, like boot loop or force closures, installing the 4.2.2 version or during the install you need to wipe/factory data reset your Galaxy Grand. You can do this by pressing Home+ Power + Volume Up key. There will be an option to wipe/factory data reset select it and your will be good to go.

yes u can ... but u will have to flash cwm again and root the device again after the update

[Q] Flash problem

Please bear with me I am a newbie
I tried to flash my note 2 (t mobile) to 4.1.2 from 4.3 using skipsoft unified android toolkit.
Now i cannot boot the phone up. Samsung logo appears then screen goes blank and nothing happens
I can boot up the recovery or download mode on the phone (all stock)
I try to flash stock ROM but the toolkit says waiting to enable USB debugging and nothing happens.
what can I do to restore stock ROM. I never loaded any custom recovery or SU
Please provide DETAILED instructions and tools I may need to download and where to get them

I have never used skipsoft but I know that you cannot downgrade the 4.3 bootloader.
Try this:
1) Download ODIN and extract the zip file from here.
2) Download this file and then extract it. The extracted file will have a tar.md5 extension.
3) Boot your phone in-to download mode by i) turn off phone ii) hold volume down + home then press power iii) on prompt press volume up.
4) Start Odin on your pc(windows) with admin rights, (right click and run as admin).
5) Now connect your phone to PC, on ODIN if you see a message that phone is connected.(ID:COM tab on left will turn blue)
6) Click PDA tab and browse the extracted file, it will take couple of minute to verify md5 and then once it's done
7) Auto reboot and F.Reset time options are checked by default, leave them as it is and make sure no other options are selected/checked on ODIN.
8) Click Start
8) Let ODIN do it's job, phone will reboot automatically.

Can anyone please help me by giving the steps for unbricking my tab T210...Its stuck on the bootlogo and doesn't go to the recovery mode!!!!

Can you go into Download mode ? If yes, flash Stockfirmware with Odin.
Use following buttons Home + Volume down + Power for 5sec and you see the warning message, that you are now in the download mode.

1.bring your tab into download mode
2.start up Odin 3.07
3. Check auto reboot, factory reset , make sure that repartion is unchecked
4. Under pda select your stockfirmware, these must unziped so that have a *.tar or *.tar.md5
5. Connect your tab with your pc , if you see the com address than can press start for download if not you must install the usb drivers from samsung.
6. After download , your tab will reboot.

Hard bricked Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 duos

Hi everyone pls i need help to unbrink my Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 duos SM-G7102.
i was tryin to install TWRP on it using TWRP app, after downloading the recovery file it asked to go into dev mode and i clicked ok, it went off and has not come up again since. Though my battery was very low but i plug it into my computer and no life at all. Please some one help me fix it. i need the phone back up and running.

1. Did you install the right model/model number? If you installed the other model/model number its easy to fix and it should just show you a downloading screen.
Fix:
1.Connect phone to computer and launch odin3 (Its powering up)
2. Download the right recovery for youre model/model number.
3. Flash it on AP or PDA and it should launch Recovery (Make sure its in download mode vol up+home button+power button)
(If it doesn work)
4. Download other recovery like CWM or Philz Recovery.
5. Flash them on AP or PDA (Turn off AutoReboot when told on the instructions)
6. Launch phone on recovery mode.
7. Select reset or just reboot the phone.
2.Doesnt turn on? Go to any repairing shop for phones. They make fix the phone for you.

How to root samsung tab 3v sm-t116ny?????

Please someone help me to root my samsung galaxy tab 3v
model no-sm-t116ny not t116nu
android version-4.4.4
baseband version-t116nyxxu0aok1

There are a lot of ways. You could use apps like KingRoot, KingoRoot, TowelRoot, etc. You can flash with a custom recovery a SuperSu zip (what I use). Just search the forums.

I tried king root ,kingoroot, one click root almost all of them but they didn't work ....I even searched in forum I got threads for sm-t116nu no such info on sm-t116ny which I am using so suggest me some other methods. .....n thanks for reply

Note: You must install your samsung tab drivers in your pc or laptop.
1. Download odin from here odindownload.com/download/Odin3_v3.12.3.zip
2. Extract zip file
3. Download twrp-2.8.7.0-goyave.img.tar for SM-T116NY from here dl.twrp.me/goyave/twrp-2.8.7.0-goyave.img.tar
4. Download SuperSU 2.79.zip from here

5. Now switch off your tab
6. Run Odin.exe
7. Click on AP and select TWRP recovery.img.tar downloaded above
8. Now Switch on your tab while pressing and holding volume down button,home button and power button.
9. Now press volume up button to continue
10. Connect your tab to pc via cable
11. If it is properly connected, ID:COM option will show COM Port in blue colour.
12. Now click on start and let your tab restart.
13. You have successfully installed TWRP recovery in your tab.
14. Now copy SuperSU 2.79.zip to your tab sd card.
15. Disconnect your tab and restart in recovery mode.( switch off your tab . switch on while pressing and holding volume up button, home button and power button.
16. After few seconds twrp recovery will open.
17. From there click on Install options and select SuperSU 2.79.zip and click install.
18. Now restart your tab and your tab will be rooted.

It is not working for me

Along the 7th step you have to Uncheck the Auto-Reboot option in the "Option" tab just beside the "Log" tab in the left column of the "odin" software.
It worked for me

One click root
Please any developer give some one click root app for samsung galaxy tab 3v SM-T116NY.
