Can we have nexus 7 2013 lte act as bluetooth headset and have phone book access profile please.....
www.bluez.org they have the whole source code to put this in to any rom, i do not know how to put but someone who knows i think should be straight forward
also there are roms from huifei who manufactures car stereos with bluetooth functionality in them and they are based on android ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2660662
can we have this functionality please in nexus 7 ?
There is source code available for a product called carpod, and android car head unit which also has this bluetooth functionality... i downloaded the source code, and it has gradle files etc... i have no idea how and what to look in to the source code... any suggestions where to look? how to open the complete source code in android development studio etc?
the link for that source code is under Helpful Links section -->> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55200512&postcount=1
i really hope a developer can just add this functionality which is already implemented in many available car head units running on android...

Hello everybody,
I'm quite new to Android, but I have some good skill in programming. I saw that Android have some limitation on bluetooth applications.
For example it have a discovery timeout of about 120 seconds(300 seconds max) and after that the application need the user help to extend the discovery time.
Another limitation is that there isn't the possibility to create bluetooth connection between two unpaired device, this limit force users to know each other and limit the possibility to build great proximity application.
So I looked into the Android source code and I found some good point to change to bypass and change these limitation.
Now I want to know how to build a ROM from the my modified source for my Desire.
There is the need to build all the kernel and framework? or can I just to put a modified framework.jar inside the actual system?
I really cannot find any useful guide on how to build from the source android against Desire.
Thanks in advance, any help are very appreciated
Marco
Hello.
Recently I made a remote control solution which can control your Android-based phone on PC. Server runs on Windows-based PC only for now. (Server is based on MFC) Client(Your phone) should able to get root permission.
We verified this solution works on Galaxy S, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Note. But not yet tested on the other devices due to lack of devices.
If you have interests controlling your phone on PC, please check this out and leave us feedback. If you are willing to make this project better, feel free contact to us. Remoteroid will get better than ever, with your supports and contribution.
Project site:
- Since I'm new user to XDA, I can't leave URL for project page.
just google 'remoteroid'! (remoteroid on Google Code)
Brief build instructions (For client):
Checkout both 'ActionbarSherlockLib' and 'android' into your workspace, make sure Android 4.0.3 System image exists on your system and latest ADT has installed.
Once all prerequisites are fulfilled, just press 'Run' button on Eclipse to install Remoteroid on your phone.
Please test on Galaxy Nexus for us. If not working I will request this thread be taken down.
Thank You.
Bro, your post should be in the Android Apps and Games or Android Software Development. There is nothing Galaxy Nexus specific in your product or post.
Hi all ,
I ask the developer from a HUD application for a source code because the the Android head unit mtcb running malasyk. In my case can't make a connection to the Bluetooth. It close the program .
Maybe you can test it in your device and
Post here your belongings.
I.m search some one to look at the code what is going on . And make it available fore the Android headunit.
What is it:
The unit it self is the server and your fone the receiver. I like this development because all the HUD software is only stand alone . And this has more features than all the other.
Take a look here and test please on your device.
The code is free available (thanks sjonsen)

I hope there is some that have the time to look at it.
3line is the source code.
Really know one?
Interested too. Can donate $30 if someone make it work on malaysk px5 Android 6 or 8.
Hello,
I upgrade my car with android system: Raspberry pi 4 + lineageos.
I didn't found solution to do bluetooth call with this android system like basic car system.
I know that aftermarket android head unit have this features with apk. This apps can show contact list, and start/stop call.
Do you know solution to do it on lineageos ? Simple if apps exist , or technical if this require development ?
Thank you very much,
hi folks,
is there someone that can explain to me how use the development tool offers by PSA to retrive information from connected vehicles ?
i'm referring to these pages for developers:
Stellantis for Developers
Stellantis Developers is the dedicated platform for application developers working with Stellantis connected vehicles API and SDKs.
developer.groupe-psa.io
developer.groupe-psa.com/inc
developer.groupe-psa.com
as reported in here:
About | Overview | Webapi B2C
Stellantis End User API for ex Groupe PSA brands (Citroën, DS, Peugeot, Opel and Vauxhall) implements various endpoints to retrieve resources from your vehicle
developer.groupe-psa.io
these APIs let the user to retrive status information from car, and also remote controls some features.
but how i should use these APIs to build an Android app (or a web page) to remotely monitor doors status (for example) of my car ?
