Customizing HTC Home plugin?

I would like to know if it's possible to customize the HTC Home plugin (as found in the full Indigo ROM for example), specifically:
1. Change the typeface (font) on the clock, the digital clock is kinda boring.
2. Make the Weather section poll a different weather service than accuweather, I find their values consistently off for my area.
3. Use colour icons for the 5 tabs instead of the Touch-styled grey ones.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

To use the app, extract the zip file anywhere on your device (main memory, storage card) and run the homecust.exe.

[Theme] MrInc_Theme_CM-5.0.8-DS (Black Bar) [6-19-2010]

This is a simple theme for CM's Live Stable Eclair 5.0.7-DS. MrInc_Theme_CM-5.0.7-DS It has a Black Bar. Some of it has been collected from other Themers. Some has been created by me. I start with CM's files and replace PNGs only. The 5 APKs I edit are Framework, Launcher, MMS, Email, and Settings. The wall paper I used is from Ubuntu a few versions back.
5/20/2010 - Test7 changed the ballgame on me. I thought I was having problems getting the clock color to change from black to white. Turns out, it is now a feature of Test7. After flashing my theme you will need to go into Spare Parts and change the color of the "Date" and the "Clock". The fun thing is now you are not limited to what I choose for you. You can choose from several colors. Kewl! I also discovered which .9.png to modify to get the search to have a black background. Enjoy!
5/27/2010 - Updated to include a couple of edits to ADW.Launcher.0.7rc3 Just to keep it inline with my taste. It is a full version with my theme edits applied. Awesome work AnderWeb! Donation coming your way. Link below.
06/05/2010 - Here we go again. I can't help myself I've started down the road on the new CM-5.0.8-DS test builds. My slightly themed ADW Launcher hasn't changed and it still works well with the new test1.
06/06/2010 - I changed some more icons. I didn't like what I had done to the bright popup PNGs. I changed that back to the white instead of the biegie-gold. I also cleaned up the CD image in Music so it doesn't have the black background. That is now transparent.
06/07/2010 - Updated for CM-5.0.8-DS-Test2. Fixed the USB Debugging notify icon. Somehow, I don't know how far back, the DPI for the icon was set slightly off. It was 71.986dpi instead of 72dpi. (go figure) I changed the USB Connected icon color from my previous yellow to more of a gold color. I changed the Bright popups to a more opaque white with a gold beveled edge. I like it better than the biegy-orange color I had before (Dirty Blueshirt liked) and I like it better than the transparent white. Not much else changed except CM has incorporated ADW's Launcher into the Test ROM (three cheers for CM!) So you don't need to flash the ADW.Launcher after my theme.
06/10/2010 - I had some problems with Test3 and Test4. I ended up having to wipe and reflash. I don't think it was anything to do with the Theme. I was having some lag issues when trying to make or answer phone calls. All is well now. Since 3 and 4 happened so quickly I ended up skipping 3. I had to make some adjustments with my files and locations to match the new Settings layout including SpareParts and ADWLauncher. I really like having that all together now.
06/19/2010 - Nothing much changed in my stuff. I just updated it to work with CM-5.0.8-DS
It's old school... I haven't got into the metamorph yet.

It may just be me, but I cant get your test 6 link to work. Just takes me to a google account page, but great work, looks good and cant wait to get it on my phone!

Having problems with the color change for the clock. I'll post a fixed version soon.
test6 should be working. I don't know if it will work properly on test7. The google docs page is where I'm storing the files.

I just tried it from my wife's computer with here google account and it downloads fine.

i downloaded the cm 507 stable version and it didnt change the date time color or the time color in the status bar.

pretty awesome looking theme can someone tell me where to find that 1X4 widget with the weather and time? I've been looking all over for it ... thanks in adv

mine is actually weather widgets 1x2 and digital clock 1x2 the one in the market with the clouds on the icon. The one you are looking for is actually Beautiful Widgets. I was looking for it too.
I was using the Weather Widgets flip clock but it constantly stopped keeping time. They have a weather service to help stop that but it was killing my battery. I'm having other problem with weather widget now so I may just drop that completely and use the Beautiful Widgets clock.

[App] Moogly - simple to-do widget needs testers

Hi everyone! Im the developer of Moogly, a simple but useful todo list widget that started as a project for Honeycomb. The pr is after the break.

Do you use HTC Classic Yellow?

Looks absolutely perfect on mine, SGS2 running ADW launcher, 2x2 widget and minimal dark skin.
An option to autohide the buttons at the bottom would be nice, as it sort of clashes with my minimal look, or even just an option to dispense with the settings and minus button?
I haven't bought the app yet, will probably do it in a couple of updates time. Your problem is kind of that you made the lite version too good - I only need one widget!

great widget. hope will get more graphic enhancement in the future. it didnt look clean, it didnt look neat, its not stylish and sleek too but hey it works. thats the most important thing. now after you pushed all feature updates, make the visual enhancement so my friends will look at this widget with awesomeness not only with functionality, but with great UI.

How can I hide Entrys? Is this only available in the Pro Version?
And a second question: Could it be possible to safe the Todo as a .txt-File and import it again e.g. after flashing a new Rom?

All lists are already saved. As for restore, i suggest you use Titanium or something like that.

Yep - the csv files can be found in RCBs directory!

9 New backgrounds for World Time Clock

Hi all I have created some simple back ground World Time Clock backgrounds which are dark themed, they are not much but they add that Touch Sense/HTC home screen Clock to your Windows Phone. Note I am not the creator of the app, that credit goes to Thunder_ for creating the wide tile clock and allowing for one to add custom png background files to personalize the clock and also to jayjojayson for creating lots if not most of the PNG clock tiles including the transparent ones that I love and use in most of my personal backgrounds. I know, most people won't use them which surprise me. The simple fact that most thought that the clock on the start screen wouldn't work and then the fact that most also thought that only MFG's could create wide tiles makes this app great.

[Q] HTC One M8 Home screen clock widget color

Hi, So I've been using my One M8 for almost a week now. It's truly awesome. One thing I've noticed however is the difference in the color of my home screen clock widget. It appears to change automatically as seen in the screenshots taken a few hours apart. Is there a way to keep it on the black background with white text? Or is that a feature on the Sense 6? Changing themes doesn't seem to make any difference either. Any thoughts?

At night is black, and during daytime is white, i think you can't change that without rooting

Clock changes color depending on the time : white = day, black = night.
If you want to keep only one color you will have to flash some mod

thanks guys for the response. I figured as much. i'm guessing that the phone considers night as when it's still dark outside and day as when there's still light from the sun?

Not sure, but I believe it's set on the time of sunset/sunrise from your identified location

Copy that. I guess the best way to find out is to observe it. Thanks again.

If there's a way to put a widget on the lock screen than you don't have to root your phone, you just have to configure widget so it's always black/white, depends on what do you want.

Ok, so the home screen clock widget just changed from the white background to the black background this happened 6pm my local time. So it looks like the colors change at 6pm/6am.
