Any way to enable native screen record - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I want to enable native screen record without using those silly third party apps. Anyone know a way to do it?

On my note 3 on alliance rom they have an option of enabling it. No stupid apps from play store. I have it enabled through power menu

Are you rooted? If yes. Flash simplisfic framework on stoxk rom and enable. Or download a custom rom such as wanam or phoenix and flash it.
Of not rooted use playstore for crappy apps

I am noot rooted...so i can't use any call recorder app from market like "androrec"

u have unlimited time in pro version ) it records nice and well.. auto mode is also enabled
just root your device
Yes, many apps work fine, even if you're unrooted.
Just don't expect to record both sides, if you use BT headset...

There are also other apps wich supports Barcodes or QRs. Search for "Barcode" or "QR" in playstore....
The sm-t210r can only read qr codes but not 1d codes ad our camrra doesnt have autofocus

in the portal they posted an article today about casting from any device. im going to test this tonight.

UPDATE: mirroring worked great using a stock 4.4.2 rom. no sound or lag issues and my internet speed is trash.

As it is modded, does it allow you to turn off the screen while a video is playing and still have the audio play? Or has the modder not enabled that feature?

I noticed this as well over the weekend, report to google by opening up the youtube app clicking the menu button then selecting 'send feedback'
Noticed this too they must have removed it in past updates.
SAD.
I think with my G3 i used to get 1440p on some vids.
