I've ordered a S3 & am looking at cases. I have an Otterbox Commuter on my Desire S & although it offers fantastic protection meant using a dock would have been inconvenient. I've seen some docks for the S3 that work with the phone in a case. Can anyone recommend any that work with a decent case please.
Thanks

I got one of these, it has an insert that slides out to allow a case to fit.

Thanks guys (I've just discovered the search function on the XDA app too, sorry), that was the sort of thing that I'd been looking at. I'm a little disappointed that none come with cases. You can bet if I buy one it won't fit.

Got mine yesterday, it's very good. The fit is good and the finish feels surprisingly premium.

How this helps...and I also just got the Clear Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit TPU Case For HTC One and I think I actually like it more than the Poetic Case.
Youtube review of the case.
Is there some kind of magnetic closure? So that when i hold the phone upside down, the front part doesn't open?
Nope, it just flops open... Try a rubber band...

Got the FlipBook today and it is a very nice sleek case. The cover is heavy so it closes very nicely. It lookes luxury. It fits mutch better than the original HTC flipstand cover I have. The original I like to both it's a bit to loose in my opinion.
Got the clear Poetic case to that one fits so tight that it hard to get it of again. It's very nice.
Came with a letter from Poetic that all costumers how both one will get a free update in may because the remote control does not work with the case because of block by white button.

I've had it for about a week. Very nice fit and finish. Very slim. As one poster mentioned, there's no mechanism to keep the flap closed (no magnet or snap). There's a fair chance it'll flap open if dropped and not provide much protection. However, I got this case primarily to protect the glass face in my pocket etc. and it's definitely less slippery than the naked phone.
:good:
Was browsing around and just saw this. Costs much more, but someone might be interested.

Does it have auto lock/ unlock when you open the case? The poetic case I have on my Nexus10 has this functionality and is very handy.

I have the same one on my n10,however this doesn't. There's an application called smart cover which works quite well.

I've been using the Poetic FlipBook case for about 2 weeks now. It's great -- the cover is heavy enough that it stays shut except when upside down, and is nice because I can 'swing' it open with one hand with a little force.
I usually take my phone out of it at night or at work (I have a dock for work) - it pops right out if you peel back 2 corners, but holds it very sturdy otherwise. I've dropped the phone once, and it protected the corner that hit the table - better yet, it didn't leave a single mark.
The cover and back feel nice to the touch, and it's nice not worrying about using a screen protector or anything when it's in my pocket. Adds very little weight to the phone.
I like my phone naked, but if I'm out and about, that's not exactly 'smart' so this case keeps the phone classy, gorgeous, and has a practical application. Just make sure not to get sand or something on the inner front cover!
Do you guys find the cover lays flat when shut even after being folded backwards during phone use? I have a Nilkin flip case on my Nexus and after fold it backwards it wont lay flat when closed anymore. I just ordered the flipbook for the m7 and am going to be really bummed if it suffers from the same problem.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks and I always fold it back and still lays very flat. It's a nice well made case and seems like the more I fold it back the flatter it lays.

Good to know. Mine arrives tomorrow, stoked!
I want to know if any one has ordered this pouch and tried it out. I am not so fond of using back covers as I heard from people that it leaves scratches at the corners once you remove it. Is any one having that problem from back covers ? I like pouch case but there is no official pouch for htc one.
Looks cool where can I order one ?

i really want a moto x bamboo backing, but dont really wanna buy the whole phone again... is there anyplace there selling legit Motorola bamboo backings?
I'm with you on this. There were some on eBay that looked legitimate with the "M" dimple (from etradesupply), but they're gone now, and the ones that remain are missing the dimple. I've got the Toast Made skin, which is nice, but I'd rather have the real wood back. I'll keep checking eBay.

I actually really prefer the look without the dimple, the texture of the actual wood on the ones that are currently on eBay just looks horrible though.
Try www.toastmade.com. They make wood "cases" & backs for all sorts of different devices. Looks fairly good. Check out the reviews of it on YouTube as well. $25 a piece. Hope this helps.

Hello Guys,
Does anyone using S-VIEW Flip covers? In my local markets so many S-VIEW Flip covers are available but they dint have S-VIEW Mode(option to attend and reject call via S-VIEW).I know in Samsung stores its available but prices is not affordable for me , I've searched on e-commerce websites also till now i don't find 1 for me .If anyone know or bought actual S-VIEW flip cover from online please let me know and share the link.
Thank You,
Try ebay.in
The price of the original S View cover is around 2000..
I am using "rock elegant cover" though.. same as S View cover costs just 1000 bucks and looks much better than it.. and it has S view features to reject and accept calls on the window and profile settings and music player can also be accessed along with the clock.. the only con is, it sucks a bit battery because it has its own application which needs to be active all the time as it works on proximity sensor..
