First off I would like to thank @rogersb11 for allowing me to bring this to our l900 device. I have been lucky that he has allowed me to work with him on a few of his projects. 99.9% of the work is not mine and I have only had a small hand in helping. I have only made his work compatible with our device. So if you like the Rom and/or kernels the thanks needs to go to him and his teammate @TheGeekyNimrod.
This Rom will be released in two versions. One will be the full Rom and the other will be a wifi only tablet style Rom. The tablet style rom has NO cellular service at all (N0 911 calling ability). This means you can not place calls, texts, or have mobile data!! The tablet style Rom is designed for Note 2 users who no longer have service on the device. The Note 2 make a nice mini-tablet but is not known for the best battery life. The mobile service uses a bunch of your battery power and without mobile service you will see an increase in battery life.
You will find download links in Post #2.

liking it a lot. Though I have some no APN specified message.
I've been roaming the whole time I've been using it.
I'm hoping when I get in my car, the mms's download.

I will change the apn's. I dont have service on my Note 2 right now. I use cricket for my service provider and they switched to gsm. I have the parts ordered to convert to gsm but even then I won't be able to test Sprint service. So I will need yall to test and report on Sprint service.

Yes! Thank you Jlmancuso, been waiting for this.
When I flash the Shift Kernel, I'm getting a black screen and reboot loop. I fully wipe the phone, flash the zip, gapps, and then the kernel, and a black screen. When I flash just the ROM, then reboot, then flash the kernel, same thing. Is the shift kernel working for anyone else? Any hints?

I am not sure what version is posted for out device. Use the one I have attached and it will work. It is what I have been using.
I had the same issue so I didn't install that kernel.
There are plenty of things I need to figure out coming from touch wiz. The battery life seems amazing...
1) how can I draw on a picture like the touch wiz could do
2) how to I get facebook to sync contacts for pictures?

You will need a photo editor to be able to draw on a picture. There is none exactly like tw that allows you to edit directly after a screenshot.

I did notice that the dish anywhere app will not play video, the app works fine but when you try to play live tv or a dvr video there is just a black screen inside the app with all the video controls, just no video.

It's aosp based. No wifi calling unless it's tw based off a tmo rom. So the answer is no, and always will be on an aosp based rom.

I'll try it tomorrow. Does it have a music and video player built into the rom ?
This is a great rom but is there anyway to change the recent app clear position?

In my opinion, this is definitely one of the better kit kat ROMs. It is fast and paired with BMS kernel, has really good battery life.

You could use GravityBox via Xposed Installer. I use it with SlimKat since that Rom doesn't include a clear all button. GravityBox will allow you to position it where you wish. I haven't flashed this Rom, but if it doesn't allow you to turn off the clear all button, then you're likely to have two of them in your recent apps screen.

I totally agree. I'm shocked this thread is only two pages. This ROM flies! I assume you are using the BMS 3.4 for kitkat...When I install it, it just goes into an endless bootloop. Did you have to do anything extra to flash it?
I use the 12/9 version because that is the only version that doesn't give me fits with the bluetooth. I installed it when I installed the ROM without exiting TWRP.

That shouldn't make a difference. Try to install a different Kernel and then the latest BMS one after the other and see if that allows you to boot up. I have done that in the past when I had WiFi issues.

I get great better life with stock kernel. My only issue with this rom is that no blue tooth controls work in my car while every other 4.4 roms seem just fine.
I might give bms a try before I ditch this rom for another. Besides my alarm, I need blue tooth functions to work in my car.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
I understand that too. Thats why I use the 12/9 version of BMS. Bluetooth works for me fine on that version with any KitKat Rom I have tried.

I get a couple things wrong. I'm on BETA6, and some basic things wrong are that when my 4g connects I have to disable my connection and reenable for data to come through, occasionally when I hit the power button to put it to sleep my phone locks up and I have to pull the battery. Now something on the odd side, I get this strange glitch that runs across my screen when the orientation changes and all the screenshot images for open tasks display the same black speckled glitches that run across my screen.
Just wanted to report on my personal issues and experience, otherwise I love it. Wish it worked perfectly but no ROM has ever performed perfectly for me.

This ROM works great! Very stable, pie on KitKat is very nice! Gets great performance. If you do the build.prop fix for the graphical glitches, the ROM is perfect. Much better than 4.3 stock.

Yeah I ran it earlier. It was actually pretty solid with Xbox's kernel, but after I deleted all the system apps I don't use and wiped data, I couldn't get past the setup screen, just kept getting a FC and back to the language selection menu. I know how to get around that, should've just left the mokee setup wizard apk in there so I could get past the menu, but I just went back to Carbon instead Like I said though, it was pretty solid. Everything that I needed worked and it was quite snappy.

WOW! @JustinXu, you are amazing man! Another great ROM ported to gee! Thanks!! :good:
I was just looking at this the other day in the international optimus threads. This is awesome. I'm going to check it out now.
EDIT:
Tried it out but couldn't get very far into it,
Any idea why I keep getting Force closes for the keyboard, and I can't use it at all? I tried switching to all of them and it just kept FC'ing.

I am still having keyboard issues. It is a constant force close on the keyboard. It happens right after I press next to skip setup and never stops.
Just tried on newest version. I installed the ROM, installed gapps, clear cache, clear dalvik, wipe data (all at different times, different combinations of each). Everything I thought I could and it still gives the error.
OK, so it seems that everything runs fine without installing gapps. But I use the ones from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942 and they have never given problems. I use the micro modular package and it isn't even supposed to have google keyboard in it so what's going on? Any thoughts?
good news guys, ls970-base mokee is a offical build now, you can enjoy the nightly and OTA.
i will continus to maintains the gee build.

I really wanted to use this ROM and I'm having the same issues. Any gapps I install causes Google keyboard to repeatedly force close. I installed the ls970 release if it matters.I'll be using carbon until a solution is found.

Would you care to enlighten us on which apps are in that 17 mb package? The ones I use are the smallest of the available ones from the usual place ^^ the one I mentioned above. And they are 86 +- MB.
Also, is there another mirror somewhere? I am not getting anything from any of the options available on android file host. I looked on the mokee website and couldn't find anything or anything about specific gapps.

I have found on other Mokee pages like this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395730 that banks gapps works. I installed the minimal package and was able to use the rom to it's potential. I can use the keyboard, no instant force closes. google account works and no issues yet.
here is the link that is in that post for banks gapps. goo.im/devs/BaNkS/GApps/4.4.2
They work.

Check settings for mobile data. Make sure you choose NV for cdma and RUIM/SIM if you have GSM (sim card)
I also have better 3G when 3G only is selected

Personally speaking, This is the most feature rich and customizable ROM I have ever tried,
it contains features from all ROM, and it contains every single feature I have ever seen in another ROM.
Well if that is good enough, give it a shot, you won't regret it
Thanks, will try in the morning

hi,
does this rom support FolderMount to sdcard?
edit: it is confirm support folder mout
is anyone facing slow charging using this rom?
A battery life compared to RessurectionRemix ROM better or worse?
For customization freak like me this ROM is great. It has so many options that makes the other ROMs pointless .
I haven't found problems so far. I had some FCs but I guess it was because of the dirty flash from SlimKat.
Can't judge the battery yet as I am using quite a lot of bluetooth.
Waiting for future updates. Great work.
Edit : I noticed two bugs
- when the lockscreen notifications and "wake on notifications" are enabled, the new notifications are not immediately visible. After turning off and on the screen, the notifications appear on the lockscreen. - my 3G connection is quite unstable. The phone fallback to 2G very often. This might be a network problem, though.
This ROM is packed full of features from all the other roms. No need to go anywhere else. Been running this since yesterday, no FCs and everything looks good so far. Battery seems to be on par with the stock rom drain, maybe even a bit better. Did a clean install coming from SlimKat. Great work so far, thanks OP.
Does anyone know how to activate the dedicated camera button while screen is off or in lockscreen? Xposed maybe?

Nah, I have not run into that issue. I turned off my LTE/4g and watched network speeds, seemed to be normal. Then again I'm in the middle of downtown Houston, 3g coverage is solid. It did not appear to be falling back to 2g.
I would try a clean install, or as you mentioned might be network related.
About to move from official cm11 m6 build. Works amazingly. But battery performance isn't amazing. And NFC doesn't work.
Gonna trial this c ROM.
What kernel do you guys suggest I try with this c rom (if any)
Thanks in advance
Edit..
Kill with back button long press does not work. Be really nice to have this feature.
And I can confirm that mobile signal does dumb down. I had good lte with both stock and cm11 at home. And very good 3g when late dropped.
On this ROM. My 4g lte no longer wants to stick. And my 3g dumbs down to H. I used to get great DC or H+
What can be done to fix this?
Build prop?
My guess will be a driver conflict. For such feature packed ROM I guess it's expected. For example Ad blocker is not working but fortunately the built in is ok.
I will have to jump to the PAC ROM until the data connection is sorted out. Living with 2G is no fun
I guess. Today my data connection is back on par with my cm11 experience.
Can confirm the built in ad blocker works great. BONUS!
I'm certainly gaining better battery performance on this rom compared to cm11 m6. Which I'd expect to be the other way around given all the extras in this ROM.
Having tried all the features in this ROM.. I'm personally finding them not to my taste.
Butttttt in sticking because it seems to outperform my cm11 experience this far... Typically this ROM is better on battery... It certainly "deep sleeps" better then cm11 m6.
Does pimped kernel work well with this ROM?
And can anyone recommend it over this stock built-in kernel of c ROM? Is it as stable as the built in?
Any input greatly appreciated
