Can't install custom recovery - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I've tried to flash CWM Recovery and TWRP Recovery and it doesn't work. Odin says it's all ok, but I just always end up on stock recovery. I have the Canadian variant.
Edit: Nevermind. I managed to root it without a custom recovery, and then installed TWRP Manager from the app store, and got the custom recovery from there.

Twrp should still be there. That rom you installed probably had a incompatible kernel which is what is sending you into fastboot. If you cant get into recovery for some off the wall reason flash back to stock with a tot or kdz.
any off the wall ideas on how to get into recovery

Am I to understand this as you installed the TWRP Manager apk? Or do we read this as TWRP is the recovery you had originally installed? (Not trying to be funny here)
If the TWRP Manager was used from within the ROM, instead, use Flashify to reflash the recovery, not TWRP manager. Get the IMG file from HERE first, and tell flashify where you saved it.
If you are completely unable to boot as well as not access recovery, you will have to start from scratch. Follow THESE instructions to get back to stock and start over. (Choose Restoring Stock/Removing Root Flag)

1-Use Root Genius Application to One-click root your Grand i9082 (www.rootgenius.com) it's a windows app, (you need to install Grand i9082's drivers on your PC before rooting)
2-Download the Recovery's image (.img file) and transfer on device's SD card or internal memory
3-Download "Rashr" from Google Play
4-open Rashr
5-Make backup of stock recovery (incase something goes wrong)
6-Click Install recovery from storage
7-Select the Recovery's image (.img file) in Rashr and install your recovery
8-Reboot and enjoy!
Recovery Mode not working
I succesfully rooted my i9082 using Kingo root. Then, I tried flashing CWM using Odin3 in download mode. Even after successfully flashing, the phone doesn't boot to recovery, it stays stuck at the Samsung boot logo. Even the stock recovery seems to have disappeared. The phone boots normally and into download mode, but I can't seem to access recovery or even bootloader. I have tried several different custom recoveries, and my custom BIN down is at 7 counts. Some applications I got off the Play Store say that I have no available recoveries installed/recognized. What do I do?
I also have same problem......!!!

Flash recovery again, try using Rashr app. If not work, might want to try flashing thru Odin.

Flashify

Hi everyone,
What do you think of flashify to flash a custom recovery or a custom rom / stock ?

regards
Used flashify to backup stock recovery then flash custom recovery.
Need to have super su installed.
1. backup recovery if something goes wrong just in case.
2. Flash custom recovery. TWRP works fine for me.

Twrp not working

Hello, XDA Developers. I was having some trouble with the TWRP Recovery. I have the latest version of ODIN and I have rooted my Galaxy S6 before and all. I'm running 6.0.1 on the g920p model. When I went to flash the recovery. It said it passed and was successful (I used the AP option). Then when I go to put it in recovery mode, it is the stock recovery and not the custom one. Is there anything I did wrong? I've tried other recoveries but non seemed to work. Also I've tripped my KNOX but I don't know if that affects it. Thanks for your help.
Unless you root your phone, it stock recovery will overwrite TWRP.
Flash TWRP again, but do not allow it to auto-reboot through ODIN. (Uncheck that box.) Reboot into Recovery, then flash SuperSU to gain root. Then reboot and TWRP will be there.

is Rooting PD1 as simple as using Odin to flash the latest Version of TWRP?

I am running Stock PD1 unrooted.
Is Rooting PD1 as simple as using Odin to flash the latest Version of TWRP? Will doing this install the necessary files, or is there a different method for build?
UPDATE: I flashed the latest version TWRP using Odin. Everything worked, except that when I booting into bootloader there was no TWRP, it was stock android bootloader.
What did I do wrong?
Right after flashing TWRP, you need to boot into recovery to boot into TWRP, if not, the phone boots normally restoring the Stock Recovery. As soon as the phone reboots, after the flashing TWRP, hold the Volume Up + Home Button + Power until it boots into Recovery mode. Should boot up into TWRP. Once TWRP boots the first time it will overwrite the stock recovery and become the default recovery. As for Rooting the Note 4, the only safe method is using Systemless Root, I just flashed this custom stock rom and all is done for you. Went to flash TWRP through ODIN and got a message- custom recovery blocked by A/L. Any solution please?
Same here. Get a FAIL with any TWRP flash. Same with Stock Rom Tar as well. Stuck with no ability to flash.
