hello people of XDA, today I come with a problem I emerged.
Following the appearance of new Xperia play ICS beta install decided to see how it worked, so I have to unlock the bootloader, in doing so I find that I can no longer update but my computer from SEUS.
I would ask for a solution to this problem, my back your original software XPlay, and to continue updating it with no problem
I leave the details of my Xperia Play:
Model: R800i
Android Version: 2.3.4
Compilation Number: 4.0.2.A.0.58
I'm from Mexico and I hope I can help.
Note: Only provide if you have tried this solution and are 100% that it works.
thanks
look for flashtool and a stock .ftf file for your version. This helped me alot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294129

thank you all for your answer
Would a stock rom restore Crash Bandicoot and Bruce Lee?
Not that I'm too concerned about playing them but being a noob with an android phone I've kinda deleted Bruce Lee (even though it still appears as an icon). I was wondering if I re-apply a stock rom for the Xperia Play would the rom file include the two included games: Bruce Lee and Crash?
Depends on the FTF file.

I've been playing around with the different SONY Ericsson stock ROMS after I did a test for the ICS ROM and some of that include Bruce Lee, but Crash Bandicoot should be included because Crash is pretty much the only playstation pocket game available when they released the phone. Hope this helps, and also there are links to all 3 different versions of the 2.3.4 Gingerbread ROMs if you go to the xperiagamer .com website and then select rooted zone, stock ROMs and choose 2.3.4 as it's the latest and choose the correct one,
Note the main 3 are for R800i and the other R800a.
Also there are guides on how to get things to work on this site, Ive used it for most of my needs.
Hope this helps.
IMaKitch
Thanks ImaKitch,
I think it's just OCD - i either want Bruce Lee on there or not at all. The fact that his icon appears on my dash niggles me - enough to flash it and start again.

If you use SEUS with an unlock bootloader, your phone will brick. To relock your bootloader, flash the ftf file here. DRM can't be restored though.

to see if you are unlocked go to the dialer and press *#*#7378423#*#*
go to service info>configuration and allmost in the botom line will say : bootloader unlock allowed - yes or no or it will say bootloader unlocked-yes check what it says and reply...
just to inform you its a little bit risky to unlock your phone - install custom roms ecpecially if you dont know much about it

It says bootloader status allowed yes
Then you need to do this first
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
Then download advanced stock kernel from the development forum and follow this guide -

If you want a stable rom with all Xperia's features, I suggest you to use only Stock Based Rom ( like XZX ) IMHO
i thinks its better for you to stay locked and install stock based rom.
jellybean update is really near .
I am currently using build 14.3.A.0.681 on Xperia Z1 Compact. As we all know this iteration has some bugs which I am currently observing. e.g. playing sounds will suddenly disappear and will be playing inside the PHONE INTERNAL SPEAKER (used for call listening), Battery Drains...
I have been thoroughly searching for KitKat 14.3.A.0.757 rooting guide for Xperia Z1 Series but unable to find any on the web. All demand Unlocking bootloader and loading that DOOMLORD tainted ftf file which i Dont want to do... If there is any proper way to make it ROOT without UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER please kindly guide me through as I want the update ASAP. All of the tips and suggestions will be appreciated wholeheartedly...
Thanks to all.....:highfive:

First of all thanks to you for your kind suggestion. For your knowledge, I rooted my current 14.3.A.0.681 Build through this same TUTORIAL and let me tell you why I have some problems there.
1- I dont see anywhere clearly written ROOT your build number 14.3.A.0.757 in this whole tutorial.
2- When I use this FLASHTOOL for some crazy reason it doesn't even show me THE LOCK/UNLOCK ICON as USABLE (non-faded).. Its always faded even the device is turned on and/or in FLASHMODE.
So if you'll be gentle enough to elaborate even more about this tutorial that how can I unlock BOOTLOADER even if I would like to *which I doubt I would* and secondly how to ROOT THE LATEST BUILD 14.3.A.0.757 because I badly want this latest update...
thank you once again.:good:
Root here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642081 after that you'll be on rooted 14.3.A.0.681 UK.
Upgrade with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688933 to rooted 14.3.A.0.757

Hello to all the community.
First of all, I am a total noob in the topic of cell phones and devices. I joined this forums to look for some help. I really don't know about the terminology of cell phones so please be patient with me
I think that my phone currently needs some kind of maintenance. Battery last less than a day and phone is a bit laggy. I currently have no root permissions on my phone (never tried to root it).
My phone information:
Model: C6502
Android version: 4.4.2
Kernel: 3.4.0-perf-g32ce454 [email protected] #1 Wed Apr 9 16:52:42 2014
Build: 10.5.A.0.230
What should I do from the start? What can I do with my phone?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Hello User's
Phone E6853 (Uk Gen)
I've recently being trying to Root my z5 premium i first unlocked the bootloader , i then installed a stock version from sony's emma (euro) version 5.1.1 . After this i was able to root it using http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-premium/development/e6853-root-unlocked-bootloader-t3255039 from androPlus . i decided after i wanted to go back to 6.0.1. so i started again After trying to use Androplus method which worked for 5.1.1 , it loaded the twrp-2.8.7.0-E6853-20151122_material.img onto the 6.0.1 but i was unable to get passed boot as in it crashed part way into loading i assume this is because the start for 5.1.1 and 6.0.1 are slightly different coded for the boot.img on the post. ( no idea really just picking at straws ). i aslo tryed the z5p duel set with no luck.
I Assume i havent missed anything ... if so people tell me
I was wondering is there is a new boot image to support the 6.0.1/ or new set of boot.img and twrp.img. i do not mind if the boot image is not stock as long as i can get in to twrp and load the phone as if it was stock.
I am able to run 6.0.1 on the phone which i took from xperifirm using this version ( but am unable to apply superuser or supersu to gain root access)
Device: Xperia Z5 Premium (E6853)
CDA: 1299-1306
Market: United Kingdom
Operator: Customized UK
Network: GENERIC

Size: 2.51 GB
I am new to this forum so i hope this is in the right section..
Hope someone is able to help me with this
Thanks
