[INFO] Kitkat update for LG Optimus F6 Available

Hi all,
A kitkat update has just been released for the LG Optimus F6 (D505). I can't post the link because of my low profile, but it's on official website:

I hope it will come for T-mobile version very soon.

Unfortunately this isn't for the US version.
In Europe, and SK they have the update, and it's been used to make a CM11 port, however, not everything works.
You could also be like me, and although there's a working 4.4.2 kitkat rom, and a beta with almost everything working 4.4.4 CM11 Rom, you could have the version of the phone that has a different back camera. In which case your phone won't be able to use it's torch, or back camera. The devs have tried, but seems we have to wait for them to release a version for the US.
Very frustrated.

Looks like it may be never? I'm frustrated at not being able to find any usable kitkat rom for the US version, mostly because mine came with OV5693 camera, and it doesn't seem to find support in Kitkat. Wondering if it'll ever get a full CM11 development, which otherwise works okay and feels snappy. Didn't test it long enough since the camera wasn't working though.

Hi guys I have an lg g3 d855 with android 4,4,2 firmware v10l-global-com, I want to upgrade my phone with any lollipop build v20e-EUR-xx it is possible to do it with lg flashtool? or I must change the kitkat rom from the global-com to EUR-xx? because my actually rom as a lot of bloatware and I cannot set the LTE/4G as default network!
P.S.: my phone is POLAND and originally it has the v10l-EUR-xx but after it cames back from the lg repair centre I notice that they put this **** rom v10l-global-com and I want to remove it and but back the original rom!

First you should try LG's own software, LG PC Suite, that's how I updated my G3 from KitKat to official stock LG Lollipop, by that time I had no OTA. If this method doesn't get you to 5.0 or you have possible problems, then you should upgrade it with LG Flash Tool 2014. Follow this guide right here:

You can upgrade straight to the KDZ-Firmware you want, in this case V20e, you don't have to first flash the same KK from Global to EUR etc. Just make sure after flashing-upgrading to Lollipop you do a factory reset for a smooth experience.

[Q] multi-vpn for at&t d850 stock rom

Hi all,
I have a LG G3 D850. I bought it unlocked from AT&T last time I was in the US, but I use it in Brazil. The stock rom would not get the updates and the 4G LTE data plans here in Brazil. I flashed the kitkat and lolipop ROMs from cyanogen and all worked as a charm. But, somehow, I think I prefer the stock over these custom ROMs.
I have the stock rom somewhere, but I am afraid that if I flash that, I will loose the 4G capability for my Brazilian carrier.
When I first flashed the CM12 I got from following this thread, I lacked the multi-apn capability, but after getting the correct multi-apn.zip patch all went smooth.
My question is: will this patch work on the stock LG G3 D850 ROM?

i have lg G2 LS 980 unlocked i am using in Pakistan. phone runs fine no issues, but its on kit kat 4.4.2 official not rooted when i try to updated my phone doesn't matter WiFi of cellular network it not updating just hows error " could not connect to updated server please check network connection" i want to upgrade to 5.0.2 office ROM, can any one explain y this is happening and what solution for it

D850 LTE 4G and 3G problem

Hi,
I have a at&t d850 phone. i live in finland and my operator uses the band 3 (1800) and 7 (2600) , which based on the gsmarena is supported by my phone's model. However, whatever I do I only get the E (2G) from the 50Mbps LTE datasim. Could anybody help me please? I have tried many roms and hidden menu and whatever, but no success
I will really appreciate if you could help me in this.

you need to edit build.prop and find ro.build.target_operator: ATT(Global) replace the global or att whatever there is into OPEN and you will get lte
